Being a small business owner and just getting started out, you may not have the money to invest in hiring a team, but you still have so many tasks on your plate. How can you outsource these so you have more time in a day? So in today's video I'm going to share with you my top essential tools for small businesses that help me get more done in a day. Hey guys, my name is Trena and welcome to another episode of Just the Tips. If this is your first time here and you want to continue to learn how to use YouTube and video in your business strategy, make sure you click the red subscribe button down below so you you don't miss out. Before I jump into my list of my favorite essential business tools, I want to hear from you. What's your favorite business tool that you're currently using? Let me know down in the comments section below. I love new suggestions. So the first tool I want to Talk about is ConvertKit and this is my email system. This is how I'm collecting people's emails, how I'm sending out newsletters, and basically how I'm sending out email funnels to make more sales. Having an email system is essential for a small business because you want to collect those emails. Those are how you're going to build and develop relationships with your followers. So you need to have an email collection system. There are other options out there like Mailchimp, but I currently use ConvertKit and I love it. The second tool that I use is LeadPages and this is a lead capturing service. So what I use it for is my opt ins. I will tell people they can sign up for my checklist or have a link in my description or on my blog to get my checklist or script template. When they click on that video, they're taken to a lead page that allows them to sign up to get my opt in. Now when they sign up, my ConvertKit is connected to it so that email goes to my ConvertKit. The reason why I have LeadPages as my lead capturing system instead of ConvertKit is because it allows you to do a few more things than ConvertKit does. You can customize LeadPages more. You can host workshops and have videos on LeadPages and you can also have thank you pages through LeadPages. When somebody signs up for your opt in, then they're instantly directed to a thank you page. On that thank you page you can ask people to subscribe to your YouTube channel or check out your Facebook group. You can just do a couple more things with Leadpages and that's why I use it as my email capturing service instead of using the option that ConvertKit has. The third tool that I use is specifically for YouTube and it saves me so much time. This tool is called TubeBuddy. And not only does it let me research keywords to find the perfect title and tags for my video, but it allows me to bulk upload, bulk edit. It allows me to evaluate my videos much faster so that I can update tags that are actually working, ensure I'm following YouTube's best practice practices. This tool has honestly saved me so much time and it's been worth the investment that I paid for this YouTube tool. The next tool saves me so much time with social media because let's be real, social media is a time sucker. I use buffer and I use Buffer to schedule my Instagram posts, my Facebook posts, my Facebook group posts. I also use it for Twitter and, and I can go in there and pre schedule all of those like a month in advance so that they're going out. I don't have to worry about them. I sit down at the beginning of the month, load up my buffer and just let it go. So it's on autopilot. I don't have to go in there and tweet and Instagram. It's all done. I do it all in one sitting. If you want the links for these, they are down in the description box, so make sure you check them out. They're down there if you just want to double check and learn more about them. The next tool is Tailwind and I use this tool tool specifically for Pinterest. Pinterest is going to boost your pins higher the more you pin. So if you're a power pinner, meaning you post 40, 50, 60 pins a day, it's more likely that your pins are going to be seen by more people. So Tailwind allows you to pin multiple pins automatically. So I will schedule about 40 pins a day for a couple weeks and have it setting on autopilot. I will pin my own pins. I will pin friends pins, I will pin group pins just to mix it up so that I'm not hammering everybody with my content. I'm sharing people's content as well and it just allows me to get my content in front of more people. The next tool is my website host. I use Squarespace. I love it. It is easy to edit, update, add my blog, change something I want to change. Even if I want to change the layout, I can do it. I, I'm not a tech person. I'm not a web developer and I've loved Squarespace and how easy it is for me to customize it and change anything that I want to change. Finally, the last tool that I want to talk about has honestly changed my business life and it's Trello. Trello is like a board of to do lists and you can really organize. You can create different boards for different things. I have a board for my YouTube calendar, I have a board for my business plan, I have a board for my clients and within those boards you can create lists so that you can move cards throughout your list and it's just been an amazing way to keep everything organized. Prior to Trello, I had posts post its everywhere, notebooks everywhere. If you want to see how I use Trello for my YouTube workflow specifically, I'll link that video up here so you can actually see behind the scenes what Trello looks like instead of me trying to explain it. But honestly, this has changed my life and saved so much time in my business just by following Trello and not worrying about all of the notebooks everywhere. Like I said, I have all the links to these tools down below, so if you want to learn more about them, just check out those links in the description box. Do you like hearing more behind the scenes of my business and what I'm doing? If you do, make sure you give this video a thumbs up, you share it and you leave me a comment below.
