Hello and Happy Thursday. So every Thursday here on Tips with Trina, I go live to give free channel reviews to anybody who shows up live. So if you're live and you want your video review, just pop your name down in the comments and I will be more than happy to go over your channel and see what things that you could do to improve and grow your channel. If you're new to this channel. My name is Trina and I help creative online entrepreneurs get started on YouTube, YouTube to grow their business. So every single day of the week here you can find different videos on YouTube, tips, YouTube strategies, how to make YouTube manageable for you and your busy life. And sometimes I throw in some extra videos on how I manage my time, how I build my business, and also some behind the scenes videos on Fridays that I like to call my Fry Diaries. So I'm going to go ahead and get started here with channel reviews. So go ahead if you want your channel reviewed, go ahead, drop your name, say me volunteer Hunger Games Style in the comments and I will get started. Hello everybody. Hello Supreme Tube. Hello ML Hernandez. Hello Fashion Step by Step. Ali Turpin, solopreneur sidekick. Hey girl, how are you? Get your life. Awesome. You guys, this is fantastic. Solopreneur. I volunteer as tribute. Fantastic. So I'm going to get started up here and I'm going to go with Fashion Step by step and we're going to go ahead and open your channel here since you were one of the first ones. So let me go to channel and I'm going to go ahead and share my screen here with you all. I do only have one screen right now, so I will be answering your questions as I go through here. But I can't see your questions while I'm doing this. So I will get to your questions. Promise, promise, promise. But first I'm going to go ahead and give my first impressions on your channel so so we can get started here. All right, I'm sharing my screen right now. And here we go. So Fashion Step by step. Great. 4700 subscribers. You have a great subscriber base already. I'm going to check out your tutorial, your channel trailer here and my I'm going to go ahead and put me on place for you if you want to become a fashion designer, professional trader and or surface pattern design. So the first thing that I would suggest for you is to make sure the first thing people see here is you with a channel trailer. With any of your videos, I would definitely suggest always having you as the first thing people See, you want to get that first impression, and that first impression has got to be you. So I would definitely focus on having some kind of a hook as the first thing people see not only in your trailer, but also in every single video. And this, this goes for everybody who's watching today. Really, there should be no graphic as the first thing people see when they click on your video. It should really be you. And it should really be you trying to get them to watch, enticing them to watch, hooking them to watch. As far as your channel banner, this is super cute. I do think that the text could stand out a little bit more. Whether it's maybe this pink color and. Or this blue color and making this banner just a little bit lighter or faded so that it really stands out. Grow your skills, discover your authentic style, and build a thriving biz. I love it. One other thing I would suggest is having your business name or your name there, because I don't really see it. I know your. Your channel name is right here, but. But I think you've really got to have that standout so people can associate your brand with your channel. But let me tell you, this photo back here is super cute and it really makes me want to watch some of your content. I love it. So as far as your thumbnails, these are very good. I would suggest a few tweaks making the text bigger. It can get kind of hard to read that. And also this goes for everybody here too. I do not want you to repeat the text on the thumbnail in the title. Okay? The title and the text should be two pieces of your video that work together to tease the story. And they can already read how to get clients as an artist or a creative right here. So you don't need to repeat it here. You want to use this as more eye catching. So what is some text that you can really use here that's going to grab their attention? So, for example, I'll go to my channel real quick and show you what I mean by that. When I'm planning my content, I really think about before I even create the content, I think about what the title and the thumbnail is going to be. So I can make sure I validate that chant that video in the first couple seconds of my video. So see, yesterday was five things you need to know as a new YouTuber. And the text says, just getting started on YouTube. So what what a potential viewer sees is just getting started on YouTube? Yeah, actually I am. Then they go over to the text and they say five things you need to know as a new YouTuber so that gets them to watch more. They know they are a new YouTuber. Hey, this person's giving me five tips to get started. Also, same with this thumbnail. I have cheap ring light. Oh yes, I want to know achieve ring light perfect lighting for under $30. So I'm teasing a little bit of that story. I'm not repeating it on the text and the thumbnail. So it gives them more of the story to want them to get to click on it. As far as channel playlists, this is great. How to draw fashion figures perfect for playlists. One of the biggest mistakes I see people do with playlists is using them as categories like vlog or DIY or what I eat in a day. Those aren't what you want to use playlists for. Playlists can rank in search results, so you really want to optimize these playlists as something people can search. So I love how to draw fashion figures and I like that it's all in here. This, the title of the playlist also is in the title of the videos. But what I would really like to see is each one of these videos standalone on their own. So if somebody perhaps clicks on Figures part two, they can still watch that and get value out of it. But they would be, they would have more value if they watch the entire playlist. Right. So what I'm looking for when I create my playlist is I'm looking for videos that can stand alone but also fit great into a playlist. So one example I use is I have a launch how I launch playlist. Let me just show you here and the types of videos I have in there. So I have how to sell an online course. It can play on its own, but it also does really well into this playlist together. So 10 mistakes to avoid, what tools you need, how to plan. So you see what I mean when creating a bit of a series but also having videos stand alone. But I love your color. It definitely pops. I would add more sections here on your channel page as well of more of these playlists to really pitch the value why people should be watching those playlists. I think your coloring is great. I think your branding is fantastic. I believe it truly shows and the subscribers that you do have, you've got a free opt in here, perfect for business owners to click on. I just think really you need to have potentially your business name or your name here so people know who to connect with and just really tightening up on pitching the value of your video in your thumbnails Go ahead and stop sharing my screen for a second and make sure I get all your questions answered here. Let me click back and see. Should we use keywords and playlist titles? Yes, definitely. So. So for me, one of the playlists I did was Video Ideas. So all of the videos in my playlist had video ideas for launching video ideas without showing your face. And then the title of that playlist was Best video ideas for 2018 or best video ideas for YouTube in 2018. That way YouTube can link all those videos together because not only are they in a playlist together, but they also have a keyword video Ideas as well. So if somebody finds one of your videos, they're more likely to see another one of your videos in the suggested video list. So definitely use that as well. Fashion Step by Step do you have any questions on the review I gave you or what I talked about to really help you implement some of these suggestions? Let me know if you have any questions. All right, let's see who is next. I'm going to go ahead and do ML Hernandez. So we're going to go to your channel. I'm going to pull it up real quick so we can go through the second channel review today. Let me pause this before it starts talking and I'm going to go ahead and share my screen with all of you so you can see exactly what I'm looking at. Also, pop your questions in as I go through these. I'm going to be doing a full open Q and A as soon as I'm done with this second review. I tend to do two reviews during this live and then answer every and all of your questions. So ML Hernandez videos every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The first thing I'm going to suggest you do is tell me what your your channel is about. What's the value you're going to bring? So fashion step by step pointed out, grow your skills, discover your authentic style, and build a thriving biz. Now, this is a little vague. One other tip. Fashion step by step is what? Who is this for? I'm. I believe it's for creatives or artists. Put that in there. So when you're creating your value proposition, the what and the why? Who are you talking to? What do you want them to do? And why is that so important? So, yes, grow your skills, discover your authentic style, and build a thriving biz. But why? Why do they need to do this? And who are you talking to? So that's this. I'm sorry, you guys. That's the same thing I would suggest for you, ML Hernandez, what is your value proposition? Why should people watch your videos? What value are you going to bring to people? You got to have a clear niche. So from what I can see brands, I own too many of the same products. So what I see for you right now is you're just getting started. 200 subscribers. You really have got to have titles that people are going to search. So for this, nobody's searching brands. I own too many of the same products. You may see some popular beauty vloggers or other YouTubers who are doing this, but that's because they have a subscriber base already. They can get away with that. They're pitching more of like a hook in their titles because they have subscribers. Whereas you need to be creating videos that people are searching for. So people definitely aren't going to be searching brands. I own too many of the same products from Full Face using cream and cushion products. Again, not something somebody is specifically looking for. Maybe you want an idea for this title would be how I use the cream and cushion products for spring makeup. Something like that. Something somebody is definitely going to be searching. You've got to have that discoverability aspect in that video. As far as your thumbnails, they look good, but they need to have a little bit more pizzazz. Right now. Full face cream products, it doesn't really pitch a value. It doesn't really tease a value. What can you add to really make people want to click on that video? Because that's basically our primary marketing material is that thumbnail. We could have the best video in the world. But if that thumbnail isn't going to grab people's attention, you're not going to get any views. So I take a look. Actually fashion step by step has beautiful thumbnails. I think the colors really stand out. The text really stands out. She just needs to add less. So look at her colors. And this is a mistake that happened to me. So I can show you. If I go back to my old thumbnails before I change them, I actually increased my Click Rate by 300% by changing my thumbnails. And let me just show you the difference. So this is all after I really started focusing on my thumbnails, but prior to that, these are some of my old thumbnails. Okay. These just don't scream that out. That's why they don't have a lot of views. It's taken a long time for these screens videos to really grow. I mean this video has 182 views. But a video that I posted yesterday has 500 views. Right. And so this really blends in. The text doesn't really stand out. But when I started focusing more on my thumbnail, what I was going to talk about having an idea of the thumbnail before I even shot the video. You can see how much different these stand out and grab your attention. I also got that pop of color as well. And so that's what I would suggest for you. Have a pop of color somehow make your thumbnail stand out. I'm going to check see if you have playlist again. I think you are using your playlists as categories. And so instead of boxycharm unboxing, you want to have a title of a playlist that's going to pitch a value. What's going to make them excited. Maybe this is the best foundation and concealer you can get for under $50. And may all of these are all under $50. So you want to think really about playlists that pitch a value in them that can really go as a series like I talked about with fashion, step by step. So I'm going to go ahead and see if you all have any questions about this. For right now, I want to make sure I got your questions. So take the time to title a playlist. Generation Calm. Yes, definitely take the time to title the playlist and take the time to fill out the description. Description of the playlist. You want to fill out the description of the playlist just like the description box. Summarize what that playlist is about in the dis. In the description of the playlist. What else? M.L. hernandez. I got it. These are super helpful, Trina. Thank you, Solopreneur Sidekick. I totally modeled my channel from these. Fantastic. Let's see. Hey, Trina, Mark Allen here, AKA unboring. Hey, dude. I know you're a dude. Thanks for watching me here on Instagram. Let's see. Questions, questions. Such a great idea. Supremely helpful. I was clueless before Trina stuff. There's no way I would have either. Oh, thank you so much. I'm so glad you're here. I'm so glad this has helped. Your channel looks good. I can totally see you modeled after Trina. Fantastic. That's what I want to do. I really want to be here to help you guys. Like. So this is totally open right now. Q and A all for you. Let me know what questions you have. Playlist. But you need a ton of content before you tackle that. Right. You can actually get started with playlists now. So if you know you want to take your. Your videos into a certain series. Go ahead and create those playlists and add that video. And as you create new videos, you add them to your playlist when you publish them. I really like to plan my content, thinking about playlists in advance. So I, I'll think about, okay, the month of June, what playlist would I like to create that I think my audience would benefit from? What are people searching? So I'm thinking a potentially good playlist would be how to get your first 1,000 subscribers. Okay, so that obviously will stand out. I could do a video on how to get your first 1,000 subscribers. I could also do content to create to get your first 1000 subscribers. How to improve your YouTube channel to get your first 1000 subscribers. These are all different videos. They could all go in different directions, but they're all going to fit into that playlist. And they all play separately, but they really work together. If you watch the whole playlist and then what you can do, here's a really secret strategy. You could create a pin on Pinterest that says how to get your first 1,000 subscribers on YouTube and link that pin to your entire playlist. So now you're dumping somebody from Pinterest into a YouTube Netflix style binge, hopefully watching four to five videos. So if you really start thinking about your content and playlist series is really going to help you build out your channel and help it grow a lot faster. Let's see how valuable are paid YouTube training? Should we just focus on mastering thumbnails content and meta tags or invest in paid courses for YouTube? That's a great question. I would definitely focus on, focus on creating your content. I mean, every single YouTube course is going to offer the same information, right? So it's just finding is there a community that they have to help you? I mean there's no. I'm going to tell you guys the truth. There's no real secret to succeeding on YouTube other than doing it being consistent. Showing up YouTube is a consistent up and down. But if you have a passion for it, if you have a passion for YouTube, for your business, you've got to stick with it and you will see the results. It's not going to happen overnight. I promise you it could, but more than likely it's not. So you really got to have a passion with courses. They can really teach you the fundamentals. But can you hold yourself accountable? That's why with my, with my program, I have a course with the group program aspect because I know it's hard to be on your own. I don't have any other friends other than my group members that are doing YouTube. So if I struggle with the title or if I struggle with a video getting views, I can reach out to my group and say, hey guys, I'm having a hard time with this. Go check this video out for me. Let me know your feedback. And so courses are great. They're going to teach you the fundamentals, but it's that next step. So it's totally up to you, what's in your budget, what you feel comfortable with. But that's kind of how I see the difference with courses and programs because I've been jaded by a lot of courses and so I tried not to make that happen with my particular program. I have one playlist and they're all in it. So how to officiate a wedding. I would definitely split those up if you can, to more specific detailed value pitching playlist. Maddie's Daddy how do you generate more impressions with YouTube for more opportunities? Those thumbnails. I was looking at impressions the other day on my channel because if you go into the new beta analytics, you can see impressions. And I was reading on YouTube a good impression is about 2 to 10% click through rate. Impressions would be, you know, really focusing on your audience retention. If you can have a longer audience retention on your video, YouTube is going to promote you more. If you are consistent on YouTube, showing up on YouTube, creating new content, that's how you're going to start getting more promoted on YouTube. Then your next step is to getting those click through rates. And I'll tell you right now, mine was at 4.2%. Not terrible. It's between that 2 to 10 mark. But I'm really looking at boosting that impression. Click through rate through thumbnails. That's really how you get that impression. Click through rate is your thumbnail and your title. Fashion step. Two years ago I uploaded a video on watercolors and now it has 87,000 views. But I haven't been able to replicate that for any other videos. Oh no, I lost it. What can I do to have the same views on the rest of the vids? So fashion step by step. I'd start with taking that video. Is there any possible way whatever that subject matter was about creating an entire playlist around that video? Okay, you could totally redo that video. Can you? How many videos can you do specifically with that video in mind so that if it's still getting traffic, you can show up in your own suggested videos to get more traffic to your channel to more of your new videos. That's what I'd suggest doing is really getting content created around that particular video. Also, look at what keywords are driving traffic to your channel and doing as many videos as possible around those keywords. So for me, some of the top keywords that were driving me traffic was video Ideas, Video Ideas 2018 and Video Ideas for YouTube. That's why I created like six videos around the topic. Video ideas to help build more traffic. Any tips for the About Me section? Yes, of course, About Me section. You should include keywords that describe your video. So for me, YouTube tips, YouTube strategy, creative business owners. Incorporating those keywords into your about section. Really pitching the value of your course and the of your channel in the first two lines. Because if people hover over your channel icon anywhere on YouTube, they're going to see the first couple lines. So that's kind of your pitch, your elevator pitch. Let people know why they should come to your channel with that value proposition. See how long should you wait before changing the name of your videos if it doesn't not show up in Google and YouTube searches? So, hello, Doveco. That's difficult. I've always been told never to change a title. So what I would suggest doing is just move forward. If you have a video that didn't perform well, could you redo that video in a different way? Was it audience retention? Was it the thumbnail? You can always change the thumbnail if you want, but I've always been told to not necessarily change any of the metadata. So could you redo that video in a way instead of changing the metadata of an older video? I love the Pinterest idea. Thank you, Maddie's daddy. Okay, so for wedding officiating stuff, separate. Separate. Segregate by topic. Yes, please. Whoa. Pinterest next level. Yeah, Pinterest was definitely, is definitely a key traffic source to my channel. So that's why I always suggest that. So you suggest coming up with a thumbnail before actually shooting a video. I do Maddie's daddy. I actually do my research. I'll take screenshots of thumbnails that inspire me that I'm okay. So here's how I go through my process. The first thing that I do is I have my idea. Okay. Then I go to YouTube and I start searching it and see what videos are showing up. Okay. Then I see what the competition looks like. What are they titling it? What are their thumbnails look like now what can I do to really stand out that results? Okay, what kind of thumbnail can I show? What kind of emotion can I show in that thumbnail? And then I use trello. And so on one card I have that, that content idea. I start writing down my ideas for that thumbnail, what I want it to look like. I take a screenshot of anything. Then after I film, because I also come up with the title before I film, because I want to somewhat say that title in the first five to 10 seconds so that the viewer is reassured the video is about what they clicked on, because that will help your audience retention. So I'll have the thumbnail determine how I want it to be, the title determined before I even come up with the content. And then when I film it, I will also shoot thumbnails and I will film 10 videos in a day. And then I will shoot all my thumbnails maybe the next day, maybe that day, if I am not exhausted. And so that's how I've been upping my thumbnail game, is really thinking through the thumbnail strategy before even filming. Great idea. Looking at competition. I used to be afraid to do this because I didn't want to copy anyone. So I've been told by some YouTube experts, I've asked them, you know, how would you suggest that I grow? And they've told me, copy my videos. Not necessarily copy, like give it your own twist. Don't just copy them word for word. But if you also watch the video I had on my channel yesterday from Michelle B. She's amazing. I can't believe I got the opportunity to collaborate with her. She actually says to get started copying people you admire. And she doesn't mean just like ripping them off, but copying their style and then making it your own. And so even though you don't want to copy anybody, it's going to help you figure out what your style is. You like that. But how can you make it your own so you can start copying? Not copyright, right? You don't want to steal it, but copy the way they are doing things and make it your own. Oh, M.L. hernandez, you found me. From Michelle. Thank you for coming over here. What do you do to create so many videos? It's a little hard for me because I want to create tutorials and record my process when I create art. But I only get to make one video per day. Have any tips? So what I do is I will research all my videos in one day. I do a lot of my process in batching. So one day I batch all my research, the next day I may batch all of my scripting or mapping up my content. Then another Day I batch all of my filming. I set up my equipment, I do my hair and makeup, I get everything ready to go, and I film as many videos as possible because I've prepared in advance. And so it's just easy for me to go to the next video to next video because everything's prepared already. So then the next thing that I do is I will send my editing to an editor. I have an editor. I just started outsourcing that this year. But I also edited in batch, right? I sit down and just edit video after video. And so the reason why I batch is because you save so much time if you stay in one zone of genius without having to switch hats. So if you go from researching one video to scripting it, to filming it, to editing it, that's going to take you all day for one video, as opposed to breaking it up into separate days and batching it, you can get more done. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Thanks. How to officiate a wedding. Great advice and Mel Hernandez. Thank you. I totally and oh, that's completely fine. Maddie's daddy. Omg. I wish I had an editor. Yes, I do. I. I'm glad it's off my plate. I like editing, it's fun. But I. Right now I only work on my YouTube stuff and like my inside of my business on Tuesdays because I work with another client most of through Friday. Actually, I don't work on Friday. So Monday, Wednesday and Thursday I work for a client. And so I only really have two days to do my videos. And that's how I've been able to get out five videos a week. I plan in advance. I film as many as possible. I'll usually film around 15 videos in one day. Then I've been doing lives on Thursdays, which I don't have to film. I get on here and talk to you guys and then Fridays I've just been kind of vlogging. So what am I doing that month that I can share with you guys that I think you would get value out of? So that's kind of how I've been able to do five days a week. I haven't committed to doing this all the time. I'm just testing. I really use my channel as a testing ground for my students and my clients to see what works and what doesn't work based on my own theories and then implementing it on my channel and seeing what happens. And so I'm testing this right now to see if my videos does any difference so that I can let my Students and clients know, hey, this is what happened. It was worth it. It wasn't worth it. Let's see. Do you use a prompter? No, I do not use a prompter. I feel like if I have a prompter, I'm too wrapped up in getting the words right, and I'm not able to show my personality. So what I really focus on is having a strong hook and writing out my hook and making sure I have that right. And then I just have points that I know I want to share so that I can be more myself. I can talk with my hands. I can, you know, not get so buttoned up and worried about perfection because that's what I felt happened at the beginning of launching this channel. I was so worried about being perfect, getting all the words right, that I just wasn't connecting with anybody because I wasn't being me. So I do not use a prompter. Long story short, five videos a week is so impressive. Well, if you think about it, it's only technically one extra from what I was doing, because then I do a live here. This isn't really filming or editing. And then whatever, I incorporate it into whatever my daily schedule is that week. I love to have an editor, too. What do you do to make having an editor an easy task for both parties? While not breaking the bank, I got to find a friend. We went to high school together. He lives in the same town as me. We have kids around the same age. And so I reached out to him and he. I've actually been training him because he comes from the wedding videographer fee area and the commercial video area. So I've really been teaching him and training him on YouTube editing and getting to the point that I like what we're doing, that I can basically just send him my video, my script template. I break down what points I want called out. I send the B roll footage where I want the B roll footage. And we're almost to the point now where I can send him the footage, and first time he sends it to me that it's good to go. But it's taken six, six or seven months now to get to that point. Just because I've trained him, he did not know about, like, YouTube, standard operating procedures, what works well on YouTube and those kinds of things. And so I would definitely look for someone who has experience with YouTube editing, not just any editor experience with YouTube editing. That's how I would first get started looking for an editor. I've tried using a prompter, too, and it was awkward. Yeah, I just feel like, you get too worried on following the words and making sure all the words are right. You don't get to let who you are shine. And that's what people are connecting with. People are connecting with you and your traits and not worried about you being perfect. I mean, look at me today. I haven't done my hair or makeup, but I have a headache today. So I was just like, you know what? I'm just getting on here with my glasses and share you guys some information. I've noticed that over the years, even from your channel, that you have become a lot more comfortable on camera. Yeah. And it's just keeping it going. Just the more you do it, the easier it gets. I really like to use the example of riding a bike. Like, nobody's going to just ride on a bike and do it perfectly. Right. You got the training wheels for a little bit, then you take the training wheels off and you wobble for a little bit. Maybe you fall down and get back up. It takes time to get comfortable in camera because this, this can be pretty scary and it can be pretty vulnerable. Right. From being afraid of what people are going to say and imposter syndrome. And so it just takes time. You just got to keep doing it. Gran from King of Random talks about creating a checklist for editors. He's handed out everything off. Yep. I've like, SOPs having an exact checklist of everything you want done. That's perfect because once you do that, you can pretty much hand that list to anybody. Yes. If you need an editor, Solopreneur Sidekick, check her out. She's got some good references. So if you guys are thinking about editors, reach out to Solopreneur Sidekick. For sure. Thanks for reminding me, girl. Jessica. And Amid, how is the daily video schedule going? Is it tough? How long do you plan to continue? It is getting a bit tough. If you notice, last week I did only three videos. It was a bit of a sprint week in my business, meaning I was working long hours to get some stuff done in preparation of vacation next. I'm going on vacation next month. So I was trying to get a lot of things done and I was just purely exhausted. So I did not go live on here last Thursday and I did not have a fry diary on Friday for you all. But I mean, I'm thinking, you know, what. What are the payoffs? You know, is more content worth it or is it less content, higher quality content? So that's kind of what I'm going back and forth with right now. I still want to try to do five days a week, maybe through June, just to get enough numbers, just to get enough statistics to see what the results were. Was it worth it? What kind of growth did I see those types of things? And then maybe I'll do two recorded videos, like pre recorded videos and still go live. Live really helps if you can find a way to go live. It really helps you add in an additional day to your week without really much effort other than going live here and talking to you. Best platform to promote YouTube videos I suggest going to your traffic sources and your analytics and seeing what platform is bringing you the most traffic and go there. For me, I was on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Facebook, everything. When I went into my analytics, I saw that Pinterest and Facebook were bringing me the most traffic and so that's what I focused on. I do still do Instagram because I love Instagram stories and I like being on video. So that's quick. I've pretty much stopped Twitter just because Twitter and Instagram were not bringing me traffic. I knew from the numbers that Pinterest and Facebook were, so I upped my game promoting more of my content on Pinterest and on Facebook and that's how I decided on which platform was best for me. Twitter may be a better platform for you. You don't know until you go look at your numbers in your traffic sources to see which platform is most beneficial for you. So that's what I'd suggest doing. Someone's mowing and I'm need a drink here. Any other questions here today? This is such a great group today. Thank you all for being here. I loved it. Twitter is great for networking with YouTube people, but not for traffic. I find great to know. Thanks Maddie's daddy for sharing. Yeah, I just got too stressed out over Twitter. I just got tired of posting things. I haven't even opened my Twitter app since I got a new phone because the password got reset. I need open Twitter in like two months. But I know traffic is coming from Pinterest and so Pinterest and Facebook, that's really where my traffic is coming from. All right friends, if you don't have any other questions, I will be live again here next week. So don't forget to subscribe and hit that little bell notification because that will let you know when I am alive. So you can make sure you are one of the two people that get your channel reviewed next month, next week. Also, don't forget you can join my Facebook group video for Biz Crew. I think it's in the links, I think it's in my description box below. If you want to join my Facebook group. Where do I. How do you ombre your thumbnails? My graphic designer. So what happened was my, I actually had a comment yesterday I wanted to share with you guys on my video. I was sharing five tips for new YouTubers and someone said, well, you don't have a lot of subscribers so how can you share this? Well, my niche is very specific, so I'm not meant to go big. Like I'm not a channel targeting teenagers where I'm going to have millions and millions of subscribers. I'm targeting the people that really want to use YouTube to grow a business. Right. And so my response to that person was, you know what, my channel may be small, but I have a full time job thanks to to my channel. Because of my channel and the people that find me. I have a business, I coach, I have students in a group program, I have clients. And so even though I have that small business, I have that small channel, it's still providing me a full time income around YouTube. So needless to say, at the end of last year I had the money to invest into a graphic designer and the consistent income. And so I do have a graphic designer. She's done that. We've messed, if you look at my thumbnails, we've messed with different things to see what works. She uses Photoshop. I'm not, I don't know if she's taking clients right now. It's CNV design, C, E, E and V Vee, you can look her up on Google and reach out to her if you want to. She does all my thumbnails, I send her my photo, she picks the best one, I tell her what text to put on and it's pretty much done. You rock. Thank you. Maddie. Sadie, where do you promote your videos other than Pinterest? I have an email list. I let my email list know Facebook. I share the video on Facebook and I upload the video natively to Facebook. I also share on Instagram. I will do an Instagram story about it and then put a post up about it. Yeah, that's basically where I share. I'm not on Reddit, I'm not on LinkedIn, but pretty much Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram and my email list. Last year I got hired to teach in Dubai thanks to my channel and mine is smaller than yours. Oh, that is awesome, girl. Exactly. You don't need a lot of subscribers. You really build your authority and your know like and trust factor by showing up on video. People get to see what it's like to work and learn from you. So you don't need a huge channel to make a full time living out of it. Because you're not counting on AdSense. The people that need all the subscribers are the people counting on AdSense. But if YouTube is a part of your business strategy, you have a business outside of YouTube. YouTube is amazing for your business. Reddit can be very good for traffic. Yes, I, I agree on that, Maddie's daddy. But yeah, you got to know the rules, you got to get in there, you've got to have a good standing and I don't have time for it right now. I think I got everybody's questions answered again. I'll be back here. Feel free to always reach out to me in Facebook. On Facebook, I respond to your questions. I have loved today. Today is such a great day. 40 minutes of chatting with you guys. Thank you so much and don't forget to subscribe. See you all soon. Bye. I gotta find how to turn this off. Bye.
