Get More Clients Using YOUTUBE! Here's how to do that!

A guide for virtual assistants, coaches, and freelancers to attract high-paying clients through YouTube. The speaker explains how to pick a specialty, demonstrate expertise on video, and use the platform to build trust with clients willing to pay premium rates.
Are you screaming from the rooftop trying to book more clients for your virtual assistant business, your coaching business, or maybe even your freelance business? But no matter what Facebook group you're in or how many you're even in, you can't seem to book clients. What if I could tell you exactly how you can make $5,000 a month with clients and fill up your entire client roster by using YouTube videos? If you're ready to learn how, click that like button and let's dig in. All right, straight up. The hardest part in running a business is getting consistent clients. I remember this first two years in my business, it was hard to get clients. And if you're not getting clients, you're not getting testimonials to actually prove to people that you can do what you say you do. Right? You're not getting these results that you can shout out these testimonials that you can shout out to get more clients in. So it's like, did the chicken or the egg come first? So is it the clients or the testimonials? In fact, I got so frustrated because consistently posting two blog posts every single week, new YouTube videos every single week, jumping into Facebook groups, answering questions that I literally considered just quitting, and crawling back to the job that I absolutely hated. But something changed right as I was having my second baby. Yeah, literally when I was having him, I was signing six month contracts with three clients when I was literally in labor with him in the hospital. So here's exactly what I did to change everything. First, I got out of Facebook groups. Yeah, get off of Facebook. Making those vague posts to see who will comment. So maybe you can capture them into your client. Web isn't going to work if you're looking for high paying clients. When I'm talking about high paying clients, I'm talking about clients who are going to pay you $1,000 a month. Yeah, $1,000 a month. Because this is how you're going to make 60k a year. Here. Follow the math with me real quick. First of all, you only need five clients that are going to pay you $1,000 a month. If you charge them $30 an hour for your specialty, which we're going to talk about here in a second, you'll need to work for that one client eight hours a week. So with five clients at $1,000 a month gets you $5,000 a month. And that means you're working 40 hours a week. See how I just broke that all down? You just need five clients. So no more Facebook groups. Okay? Trust me on this one. Now, the second thing to do is focus on a specialty. So if we're going to get clients that are going to pay us $1,000 a month for eight hours worth of work, 40 hours a month, we need to really give value and focus on one thing. Being a jack of all trades is not going to get you a client that's going to pay you $1,000 a month. So here are some things that you could focus on as kind of your bread and butter and your expertise. Video editing, copywriting for blogs or Instagram. A project manager. A Pinterest manager. Customer service representative. This is especially good for businesses who have online courses and are trying to manage, you know, all the questions and failed payments that they're getting. A personal assistant or focusing on a specific software like dubsado, asana, honeybook, Monday.com. there are so many options for you to really specialize on. I'm telling you right now, this was my biggest mistake. I was ready to take on any kind of work that anybody would ask me about. Video editing, I did it. YouTube management, I did it. Virtual assistant work, I did it. Whatever I could get my hands on helped me pay the bill. So I took it on. But unfortunately, this just confused people. They weren't sure what to recommend me for, and the people that were following weren't really sure what I actually did. And if I was just this jack of all trades, why would they pay me premium pricing to do something anybody could do? So pick a specialty and go all in, because this next step is how you're going to get in front of the people that need exactly what you're specializing in. This next step is show your genius. You might have heard people say, don't give away too much free content because they're not going to want to pay you for it. Kind of like, why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? No way. This is so not true. You need to show your smarts and the intricacies that go into each step that you do do. People will start to see how detailed you are and how much time actually goes into this, and they'll quickly realize that they don't have the time to do that. They're just going to hire you to do it for them. And since they've already seen how good you are, they're going to be ready to hire you on the spot. Trust me on this one. When I was trying to set up my client management system, how I onboard people and how I process their invoices and stuff, I use A system called Dubsado. And I really wanted to make this workflow just kind of work automatically for it. Unfortunately, just subscribing to it and logging into Dubsado wasn't magically done right. There were all these extra steps that you had to put in to customize it for your client journey. So what I do went to YouTube and search how to set up my Dubsado system. When I saw all the steps that went into it and how much time it was going to take me to do it, I realized I'm just going to hire someone to do this. Seriously, your $1,000 a month client needs to see see exactly how valuable your time is. You need to clearly understand what it is you do and how you are really going to save them a lot of time. So now you're probably thinking, well, what kind of content am I going to come up with? Right? Great question. You're going to go to YouTube search or even Pinterest search to figure out what people are actually searching for so you can show them how you can solve their pain point. Now, I talked about Dubsado and there is a YouTube channel that actually shows you how to set up your Dubsado workflow. So if you type in how to set up your Dubsado workflow, a lot of her videos show up. And what makes this profitable to her is that that's her specialty. She has services and products that help people get their Dubsado process set up. So when somebody goes to YouTube and searches how to set up a client management system or even how to set up their Dubsado system, her videos pop up, they see how intricate the step is and they realize, I don't have time for it, I'm just going to hire her. So again, focus on those pain points. It may not be the actual software or the actual thing you spe specialize in. It might be something like automating your client onboarding system, how to have an awesome client management system, how to easily onboard clients automatically. They may not be looking again at Dubsado specifically, but they're looking at things around that client management system or onboarding that is going to get you found by the right people, the people that are going to pay you $1,000 a month. So why is it that YouTube video specifically will really get to these clients? It's all about the know, like and trust that you are creating here on video. I've got two amazing examples here to share with you. This is the exact system that I use to start getting these $1,000 clients. For example, a few winners ago, our family was out with the flu. Like, legit, laying in the bathroom floor couldn't move flu. But I was creating content on YouTube, focusing on what my target audience, what my ideal client would be looking on to show them how I'm the solution to their problem. So while we were all laying on the bathroom floor, I got a ding on my phone and there's an email from someone. They told me they had just found me on YouTube. They ended up watching six videos of mine and they wanted to know how they could hire me. Like, right there, without even talking to me. They knew I was a perfect fit. They knew they needed me to get their YouTube channel up and running, and they wanted to know how they could make it happen. Since I do have a process set up in Dubsado, all I had to do is like, get into Dubsado, hit the start button, so to speak, and send her a contract invoice. And by the end of that weekend, while we were sick, I booked a client for the next six months. Sick with the flu. More recently, I was featured in a client's video of his, and I showed exactly everything I do to keep his channel running. He's a channel with over 500,000 subscribers, so a lot of people wonder what goes on behind the scenes when they saw it was actually me that did it and everything that I do to keep him consistent. I got emails of people wanting to hire me. They saw how detailed and all of the steps I put into and realized they can't do that on their own. They just want to hire somebody that already knows how to do it. That's why YouTube and video is so much more valuable to you than stalking people in Facebook groups. Then you need to talk about what it is that you do mention in your videos about how you set the system up for a client. How hint, hint, what I just did, you need to have a spot on your website, maybe even have a little snippet in your YouTube description box that says, if you're interested in working with me on xyz, head to this link to figure out how we can get that process started so people can start to realize, oh, she specializes in this. Like, this is what she does. If they're not interested, if somebody they're talking to is like, I really wish I had somebody that focused on Dubsado. But workflows, they would know who to recommend. You can't just expect people to know what it is that you do. You gotta kind of talk about it. And if you still want to be on Facebook. A more powerful way to get clients from Facebook is when somebody poses a question in that Facebook group and you go to answer it. You're going to stand out amongst everybody else if you can put a video response. So let's say somebody had a specific question about Dubsado score scheduling and you did a video on how to set up your dubs auto scheduling. You could link to that video in the comments answering that person's question and obviously you're going to say now everybody else has text where you have this detailed step by step video. They're going to get to see you. They're going to get to realize whether you're for them or not. They're going to get the sense of your personality and see your smarts.
