Grow Your Business on Youtube - 3 Easy Video Marketing Tip

Many business owners, when they are planning their social media content, tend to forget one major platform in their strategy. It's YouTube. In today's video, I'm going to share with you how you can really use YouTube to grow your business faster than any other of those social media platforms. Hey guys, my name is Trena and welcome to another episode of Just the Tips on this channel. I provide online business owners tips, tricks and strategies on how they can use YouTube in their business. If you watched last week's video, I talked all about the five main reasons why you need to have video in your business and what it can really do to help your business. If you didn't check that video out, I'll link it up here and down in the description box below. But today I want to talk with you about how exactly YouTube is going to grow your business. Yeah, you're going to get in front of more people and build your email list and build your following here through YouTube. So the first thing you want to start doing here on YouTube to be strategic is create some educational videos or being helpful. Think about frequently asked questions that you get. What are people in your niche struggling with? How can you help them? If they have a question, what's that question that they're typing into Google or YouTube and how can you solve that question for them on video? This is the first step that you can take in building a relationship with this person that may have never found you through Facebook or Instagram. You have the searchability of not only YouTube but Google to have your video out there. So when somebody is struggling, sitting at their desk, pulling their hair out, they type in their question into Google and your video pops up. The second reason how YouTube is going to grow your business is it can get people on your email list. Now, recently YouTube changed the cards function that you can't link to an associated website until you have 10,000 views on your channel. But you still have that description box down below. So what you want to do is when you're talking through your video at the very end, you want to give them something of value, whether that's a checklist, a template, or even an ebook. Let them know you have something to help them. If they're still struggling with the issue you talked them through, tell them they can grab this checklist in the description box below. Then you'll want to put the link to your opt in down in that description box and make sure you include the HTTP address that makes it clickable here on YouTube and people are much more likely to click it to go directly to that landing page than to copy and paste. That's how you can start getting those people that are finding you on YouTube on your email list. The third way that YouTube is going to help grow your business is the comment section. A lot of people don't Even think about YouTube as a social media platform, but it's a great platform to really start connecting with people and building relationships. You being on video is the quickest way for somebody to feel connected with you. And you're much more likely to get comments down in the comment section and if you ask for them because they feel like they know you, they just watched a video with you in it and it was like you were sitting there speaking to them. So start asking questions or write a question down in your comment section and get people engaging.
