Take a minute and stop and think. When was the last time you got up from the chair that you're sitting in? If you're anything like me, you could sit in the same place for hours and not even realize it. Today I'm going to give you a few of my tips on how to improve your health as an entrepreneur. So let's talk about your health. You probably wake up every morning and the last thing on your mind is your health and exercising. Instead, it's probably all Facebook ads and email subscribers and Instagram posts. But it's so important to stop for a minute and really think about your health as an entrepreneur. We can spend hours and hours working at our desk and mindlessly grabbing snacks throughout the day and not even really thinking about it. If you aren't healthy, your business isn't healthy. I did an entire episode on this topic alone, so if you want to watch that video, go ahead and click right up here. It'll link you right to that video. So here are a few things that I do to stay healthy as an entrepreneur and busy running my business all day. Every Sunday I will plan out what my meals are going to be for the week. I even plan two snacks a and this just helps me write a grocery list and know what I'm going to eat every day. By knowing what I'm going to eat every day, I'm not grabbing some potato chips or whatever is lying around. That's not healthy. It really helps me to stay on track and make sure I'm feeding my body the best food possible to keep things simple and less time consuming. My husband and I actually will make big meals at the beginning of the week so that we won't have to cook at the end of the week and just can eat leftover. So on Sunday night, one of the things that I will typically do is make a giant crock pot full of oatmeal and then we will just have that to eat for breakfast for the rest of the week. We really don't need that variety of food. We're perfectly fine eating the same thing for breakfast every day. And then for dinner, a quick option for us is just to saute up a bunch of vegetables and grill some chicken and just reheat that for a couple of days. As far as snacks, I will have nuts or fruit or some veggies. I also like to grab some Greek yogurt and make some smoothies. So it's just something quick and easy to grab as a snack. And it's so important to remember to snack because you want to keep your blood sugar levels as level as possible because it will make you more productive, it will keep you more awake, and it just keeps your metabolism going when it comes time to working out. I understand that you can one, not have the time to do it or two, two, not even know what to do. That's why I love this website called Tone It Up. They actually will send you a weekly workout schedule for free. So I love getting their schedule and just looking at what they have to work out for that day. They have printable workouts that you can do at home or at a gym and they also have a lot of great YouTube videos for you to work out at home. I don't have the time to run to the gym, so I basically just use what I got at my house and and throw in a quick 20 to 30 minute workout at least three times a week. Now I don't always stick to three times a week, but that's really my goal every week. Another great workout to try that's quick and effective is HIIT workouts, which stands for high Intensity Interval training. And with HIIT workouts, you're doing a exercise for like 50 to 60 seconds and then you're breaking for like 15 to 30 seconds and you just keep doing this for 20 to 30 minutes. And it's so great because not only are you getting in cardio, you're also getting in toning and you're working out your entire body in 30 minutes or less. You can also just use your body weight to do a lot of these exercises, so you don't even need equipment to do it. If you want to try a fun challenge throughout the week to really start getting yourself more active and healthier, head on over to my blog. I'll link it right up here. I have a challenge that you can try every hour for a whole week to see how you're feeling afterwards. And if you stuck with it, do you have a weekly workout schedule or do you plan your meals? Let me know down in the comments section below and let me know. What kind of workouts are you doing? Are they YouTube videos? Are they sent to you? Let me know. I love finding out new ways to work out.
