That way you'll just be notified when I upload a new video and if you're on social media, because who isn't? Go check me out. Right on over here. I'm giving behind the scenes, how I set up, how I create content, all that on social media. So like I said, today we're going to talk about how to build a community on YouTube. Maybe you haven't even thought about having a community on YouTube, but YouTube is an amazing spot to really build a community because you are giving them basically all of you. Your viewers get to see who you are, they get to see your personality, they get to see your idiosyncrasies and they really get to build a relationship with you. So it's an amazing platform to, to build a loyal fan base of people who want to work with you or want to buy from you. So the first tip I have for you is to create quality content. You just can't throw up any old video and expect people to come watch it. It needs to be really helpful. It needs to be something that your target audience wants to learn. Your content either needs to be educational, entertaining or informative speaker. So if you don't know if you're creating quality content or not, keep practicing, keep doing it. It may take you a year to build a community. It may take you a month to build a community. Just keep doing it. Don't let anything stop you. It is hard work, but once you start doing video, I think you might start to like it and people will come. Like I said, it's just going to take some time to get that community on YouTube. Just, just like any other social media platform. You didn't start on Instagram with 500 followers and you didn't start on Pinterest with 1000 followers. It took you time to really build that and Let people see what you're all about. Second, you need to get your videos ranked. What I mean by ranked is they need to show up on a front page YouTube search result. Because I hate to break it to you, YouTube is not a platform where if you build it, they will come. You need to be really strategic in the videos that you create and the titles that you give them. The three biggest parts of a YouTube video that gets you ranked on these front page results are your title, your description box and your tags. You really need to make sure you have keywords that are in these three elements of your YouTube channel that will get you ranked for the keyword words that you are targeting. By being ranked on those front page results, more eyes are going to get on your video, more people are going to be watching subscribing and the more your community grows, you need to be strategic with your video strategy by really focusing on getting ranked videos. Finally, you need to get people interacting on your videos. Ask them a question. I ask you all the time. I ask you to comment below. So, so today I'm going to ask you, are you thinking about having a YouTube channel? What are your struggles with? Let me know down below. What's holding you back from starting a YouTube channel today? Ask it. Answer their questions when they post down in the comments section. Get them to like your videos, ask them to like your videos, share your videos. Just invite as much interaction as possible in your videos. You, you need to have that strong call to action because people don't know what it is you want them to do. They can be very passive. So by you going out and asking them, more interaction on your video, more chance for you to talk to people and really start growing your community. And a little bonus tip I have for you, look at other people's videos and comment on their videos. So maybe you have somebody that keeps coming back and commenting on your videos, go check them out right on their YouTube channel. Or, or maybe there are some industry leaders in your market that have YouTube channels. Go right on their videos, comment, interact with the other people in the comment section to really help build your community. Because people will see you have a YouTube channel, they'll go check out your channel, comment on your channel. And it's an amazing snowball effect by just interacting with more people on the platform. If you really want to get started with video content right now, go ahead and download my free script template. I will put it right up here.
