HOW TO BUILD AN EMAIL LIST FROM YOUTUBE |USE YOUTUBE TO GROW YOUR EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS AROUND THE CLOCK

Trena Little shows how to use YouTube as a search engine to build your email list automatically. YouTube videos keep working for you long-term, pulling in subscribers around the clock without paid ads.
It is so hard to build an email list right now. Everybody is doing it, and everybody knows about it. People know if they're gonna opt in, they're gonna get some emails from you. So what should you be doing if you want to grow your email? Because it seems like everything else has been done before. And even though you're blogging, posting on Instagram, your email list subscribers is growing at snail pace. Well, I'm gonna share with you something that I did in the past month that helped me grow over 2,000 thousand email subscribers in 30 days. Want to hear how? Hit that, like, button and let's dig in. Hey, there. Welcome back. My name is Trina. If you're brand new here, and this channel is for business owners, entrepreneurs, and content creators who want to grow their business organically with online video. And like I said, how I grew my email list through 2000 new people was completely organic. This is taking Facebook ads out of the number. So we need to get innovative here. Pinterest, blogging, all of that everybody is doing. So how can you stand out and cut through the noise and get more people on your email list? YouTube, my friend. This is how I predominantly grew 2,000 new email subscribers in just one month. I talked about it here on my channel every single day. I didn't talk about much on the other platforms. Yes, we are running Facebook ads, but I have it segmented differently in my email provider, ConvertKit, so I'm pulling the exact numbers that came organically. So why is YouTube helping me drive more email subscribers to my list than anything else? Well, first. First and foremost, YouTube is a search engine. And people are going to YouTube when they have a problem and when they find one of my videos, that helps them figure out how to create a thumbnail or how to make their YouTube channel homepage look professional. I can help them get a quick win. And I pitch to them how I can continue to help them with this free checklist or this free template or this free roadmap. I've already built their trust with that one single simple win, and they're ready to do more, right? It's really hard to get in front of your audience when they need you the most, when you're on Facebook or you're on Instagram. And it's really hard to get your blog posts seen in Google and in Pinterest because those have been so competitive and everybody's doing it. But you can really power up your blog posts and your website when you're taking YouTube videos and embedding into your blog Posts as well. So that's doubling kind of your SEO juice. I am not a Google SEO wizard here, but I do know Google values video content more than anything else. So if you are struggling getting people to your website or your blog Post, consider adding YouTube video. Embed a YouTube video to your blog post, take that blog post that you already wrote and turn it into a video. You're going to have two different kinds of learners in your audience, right? You're going to have the readers and you're going to have the visual people who want to hear and watch you do it. So putting the same blog into a video is not going to hurt you, but it is going to help you get seen by more people, which could get more people on your email list. So the first way to get YouTube views, the people that are watching your videos onto your email list, put a little blurb down in your description box on why they need to get this, what they're going to get out of it. And then put that HTTPs link in there. And then in the video you can actually tell them all about your freebie and that they can get it in the link down in the description box. Now, if you have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time, you can then add your link on the screen of your and tell them to just click the link on your screen. But you can't link to an external website until you are approved for monetization. And that requires 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time. But you still have that powerful description box down below. You can also add it in your about section of your YouTube video. So when people go to your channel for the first time in your channel banner, you can add a link to your opt in at the top of there too. I have a video that goes into detail on that. I will link it right up here for you to watch next. But that's another place that people can get your opt in. That's not normal and so it's not oversaturated. And people will be more likely to actually click on that if it has a good call to action. Think about this power, right? Your YouTube videos can thrive on YouTube for months, even years to come with your opt in constantly churning and driving you leads every single day. I have a video from three years ago where I talk about writing a YouTube script. And that opt in stay still drives me at least 25 new email subscribers every single day. Every single day people are watching that video and opting into my email list to get that script template that is A power that Facebook does not have, Instagram does not have. And think about it. Even with ads, you're dumping money into ads. But YouTube is a free, organic way to grow your email list right now.
