Hey guys and welcome back to Just the Tips with Trena where I provide you a 1 minute business tip while I sip on some coffee or wine and Mondays coffee. Today, I want to give you some tips on how to survive the entrepreneurial roller coaster. If you're like me and you're hustling to do everything you can to make your business thrive and grow, you're probably experiencing these constant ups and downs on this wild, crazy journey that's entrepreneurship. I know I can't be alone in feeling this way. Some days you do something so wrong right for your business that you actually see it growing and you're so excited you're walking on cloud nine thinking I can actually do this. And then 15 minutes later you realize you lost a couple email subscribers or Instagram cleaned out their platform and you lost 50 Instagram followers. Or you look back at the email you sent and realize you had the wrong link in the email. So here are my tips to survive these constant ups and downs. First, celebrate your successes. Being a one person business owner can be so stressful because you're wearing so many hats. It can get so overwhelming. So when you have that success, take it in and celebrate it. Whether it's going out to get some coffee, getting an ice cream cone, or popping a bottle of wine, take the time to really enjoy that success and let it soak in. Next, find some business friends. It can get really lonely working at home all day by yourself. You start to think you're all alone in this journey and nobody understands what you're going through. Having friends that are going through the same things you are is so essential to your I have found some great friends through Instagram, Twitter, and most recently Snapchat. Some of my business friends and I, we even talk regularly on Snapchat, sending each other little motivational snaps here and there just to help us get through the day. Reach out to someone today. It will totally help you with your stress. And finally, take some time to tune out and shut down. Even though there's probably a thousand things you need to do, it's so important to take a break. Otherwise you're going to end up burning out, which won't be good for you or your business. Make sure you set a time at night where you're going to turn off your phone and shut down your computer and just take some time for you or to do something you enjoy doing. I know you enjoy working on your business, but do something else. Take this time to spend it with your friends or family or even laying in bed with Netflix and a gallon of ice cream. Perfectly acceptable. You just need this time for you to reboost so that you can put all that you have back into your business. Let me know in the comments section below. I did a guest post for Rachel here@hopenotes.com and it's all about how to grow your business with YouTube so you definitely and finally trust. No one is going to fork over money to someone they don't trust. Having that trust is what gets people to actually want to work with you. They know you're not going to rip them off. Video is a great way to build this trust by providing client testimonials.
