You'll be notified through email when my next video becomes live. So, as I said, last week we talked about three tips to get ready to be on camera. If you missed that video, I'll go ahead and link it right up here. You can go watch it after you watch this one. And today I have three more tips that you can incorporate into your daily schedule to really help you start building your camera confidence and liking what it is that you see on camera when you watch yourself back. So practice makes perfect, right? Well, I'm sorry to break it to you, but it does. The more you do it, the more you're on camera, the easier it gets. I can tell you from experience, I have multiple friends and clients. I can tell you from experience. If you go back to my first video or anybody's first video, we're stiff, we're awkward, we're figuring it all out as we go. But as we do it more, we start to find our groove and we start to get more comfortable. And you start looking like this, where I'm talking with my hands and just talking conversationally to you. But you don't just get to that point without practicing. So what are some ways that you can practice? Take your phone out or take your camera with you throughout the day and just hit record and start talking to your camera. Talk about what you're eating that day or why you're walking your dog, or just pull your camera out and just start talking to it. You don't need to upload this to YouTube or share it or anything, but it helps you to start getting easier with talking to a camera and seeing yourself on video. The second tip that I have is along that line, but this is taking the next step and letting people see you on camera. Try out Snapchat. If you're not on Snapchat, start doing Snapchat videos. What's great about this is these videos disappear after 24 hours. So you don't have to worry about people seeing them after 24 hours. But again, it just starts to get you comfortable with, with talking to a camera and seeing yourself. You could also try out Instagram Stories. That's another great place, just like Snapchat, to start practicing being on camera. The more you do it honestly, the easier it gets. And I know those first couple times are going to be difficult and you're going to criticize yourself and you're going to think you look terrible and you're just going to think it's a total mess, but just keep doing it, it gets easier and, and then finally, I kind of want you to get into your mind and change your mindset with this tip. I want you to start telling yourself your content is worthy. Your content has to get out there. What you have to say is so important, it has to be told. So start telling yourself that what it is that you need to share has to get out there on video. Start changing the way you think about it and, and just make yourself believe that your content is life changing. And if you don't get your content out there, you're just going to explode from within. Change your mindset and just start believing and telling yourself that your content is great enough to be on video. Make sure you come back here next week for part three of the Camera Confidence Building series. I'm going to be talking about ways to build your confidence while you're on camera.
