You want to use music in your YouTube videos, but you want to make sure you're not going to get in trouble for using copyrighted music. So I want to share with you my three favorite places to find music that you can use in your videos where you won't get in trouble for using them. Hi, my name is Trena, and on this channel I help creative entrepreneurs just like you figure out how to start using YouTube in your business strategy. If you're starting to create more videos, you may want to make your videos more fun by adding music to them. But if you just grab Taylor Swift's Delicate song and throw it into your video, you're going to get a copyright strike from YouTube. No, don't like that. You want to make sure you're not using music that somebody else is because that's a no go here on YouTube. So where can you find music that you can actually use on your videos without getting in trouble for. Well, the first place I suggest going is YouTube Music Library. Yeah, YouTube has its own library of music and even better sound effects. So if you're editing and you want some sound effects to add to your videos, you can go to the YouTube Music Library. Here you can search by genre or pace or mood and really find some music that works for your videos. Now, I suggest finding around three or four different pieces of music that you want to use. It's going to be very time consuming for you to keep coming back here and listening to all the options that YouTube has. So if you can pick about three or four and just rotate them through your content, it's going to save you so much time. And that's going to give you that music and the background that you want. Now, if the YouTube library isn't working for you, another great place to go to is called no Copyright Sound. Now, this type of music here is a little more modern, a little more upbeat. And if you can't find what you're looking for over on YouTube or you feel like some of those songs on YouTube are just used a lot, this YouTube channel allows you to download music from them and use them on your videos. Make sure you give credit where credit is due. You'll want to check the instructions in the description box. They'll tell you how to download and how to give credit to that artist and make sure that you don't get any infringements against you. But this is another great place to find music for your videos or if you're doing video courses or any type of video in your business. And the third place that you can go to look for for some great music is SoundCloud. Now the first two I told you about YouTube library and no copyright sound. Most of these are all free. In fact, all of YouTube Music Library is free and most of no copyright sound is free. But SoundCloud is a paid subscription now. They have more options and better music maybe for your liking. It just depends on what type of music you want, so that's an option as well if you want to pay for music. SoundCloud also not only has paper versions, but also free versions. So whatever really works for you and what kind of music that you're looking for. If you want to continue to learn how to use YouTube in your business the right way, make sure you click that playlist that's on your screen right now.
