Do you ever struggle with coming up with good video ideas to do on your YouTube channel? I've been there. Look, you want to create videos that you know people are going to find and search, but you want to also be excited to watch your video. Well, in today's video, I'm going to show you how I constantly come up with new video ideas for two of my YouTube channels and all of my clients channels. Hey there and welcome back. Coming up with content ideas is a tough job, especially if you're trying to create consistently new content every single week. Take it from me, for example, I've posted over 300 videos in the past three years that I've been on YouTube. And my job off of YouTube here, speaking on video, is to come up with a YouTube strategy, aka video ideas for my clients as well. And doing this over and over and over again, I've come up with a lot of different ways to keep generating new video ideas and there has been one tool that has been the biggest time saver for me and that's been Tubebuddy. But before we can jump into how you can use TubeBuddy to come up with popular video ideas for your channel, don't forget to subscribe to my channel because I'm posting new videos every single Monday and Wednesday to help you do YouTube better. Whether it's a channel to help you grow your business or it's a channel to share your story, or it's a hobby channel. My goal on this channel is to just help you do YouTube better. I okay, so now let's jump on my computer so I can actually walk you through all the things that I do inside of Tubebuddy so that you can start doing it too. And before we jump over there, there is a link down in the description box where you can grab Tubebuddy as well. They have a free version that absolutely does a lot of this stuff. So don't forget you can grab that down in the description box. I use Tubebuddy to do a lot of this research. So you can go to tubebuddy.com I also have a link down in the description box below that you can grab to jump over here to Tubebuddy to get started. But once you sign in, you can also go to the Google Chrome web store and get this TubeBuddy for YouTube Google Chrome extension. It's totally free. You'll just download it and then when you come to YouTube, you're going to see this little guy up here. This guy saves me so much time. Let's say I click on this and I'm researching a video I want to do about productivity tips. My favorite tool to use is the keyword explorer. I go in here and I'm just going to type productivity tips and explore what tubebuddy is going to do is give me a summary for this keyword. Right now it's telling me it's very bad because you'll see the search volume is high, but the competition is very high. I want to try to find a little bit better of a keyword if I want my video to perform better. Then this keyword explorer also gives you do some video searches with related topics. This could help you spawn some new video ideas or improve the video that you're going to do. Just productivity tips is too general. We need to be a little more specific. Then it's also going to show you the most used tags from the top ranking video. If you've ever wondered what tags should I use generally, I will go down here and grab maybe 10 to 15, 10 to 12 tags right here that relate to my keyword that I'm using. You can also see who is top ranking in search and you can see their thumbnail, what their title looks like. You can see where they use productivity tips. This could help you to start figuring out what to title your video as well. You can also jump over here to trending. There has to be enough queries for trending for you to get results here. You can also go to historical to see when productivity start to peak when your specific keyword and this could be for any keyword. So you'll see that here around the beginning of September, productivity tips starts to peak. People are searching more. I'm assuming it's back to school. So people are starting to look more for productivity tips and that's under here historical. So what I'll do is since this isn't perfect and this isn't a great one, what I'm going to do is productivity tips to help you save time. We can just see if this overall score it got a little bit better because we're getting more specific in our title. I think I want to do productivity tips to help you get more done in a day. Not as good, but you're starting to see how you can use this particular tool to really map out what videos you should be doing and where. You have a great potential to rank videos and to see what videos are more popular. One other thing I also didn't show you is over here web searches. Let's just go back to productivity tips. You go over here to web searches and see what specific like Google searches are happening and also video topics. So there's not any video topics related right now in here. But this could help you because you can go to Productivity Tips for Entrepreneurs. We can click on that. There you go. There's a good one. I would use this keyword but also make the title a little more enticing. So productivity tips for Entrepreneurs. You need to know something like that. You can also see the results to see who's ranking for these particular videos. You can also see here are some tags that would be great. I would add productivity, productivity tips, hacks, time management. These are all your best tags. This saves me so much time. Now if you want to continue learning strategies and tips on how to grow your YouTube channel and do YouTube better, make sure you click that video that's on your screen right now. And don't forget to subscribe to this channel and come back here every Monday and Wednesday for new videos to help you do YouTube better. Thank you so much. See you in the next video. Bye.
