How To Launch A Successful Youtube Channel

This is a YouTube video titled "How To Launch A Successful Youtube Channel" created on March 1, 2017. The content likely provides guidance or instructional material on starting and growing a YouTube channel successfully. No conversational dialogue or multiple speakers are indicated in the excerpt.
So in this training, I'm going to be teaching you how to launch a YouTube channel. Now, there may be some things you don't even know you need to do with launching your YouTube channel. Or maybe, you know, there's a lot of things that you need to do to launch your YouTube channel. You just aren't sure how to get started. I'm going to cover all of that here in this training. My name is Trena Little. If you haven't ever watched any of my videos or seen me before, and I am a video content strategist and I help online entrepreneurs create a video content strategy that works for them and their business. I wanted to create this training here today to really help you break through the barrier of getting started on YouTube. So this training actually is going to start at one and I thought I would just get on here to go ahead and answer any questions any of you might have ahead of time and just kind of chat a bit. So I'm going to put down in the description box below the timestamp of when the training actually starts. So if you're watching this on replay, you can just skip straight to the time I put down in the description box to get to the training. So in the meantime, I'm here. If you guys want to send me any questions, go ahead and shoot it up in the chat box. I'm going to get myself set up here on my laptop. You see, it's right over here. I do do this all on my own. So yeah, go ahead, start asking questions. I want to know who's on, what's your name and where are you calling? I'm calling from. I feel like a radio host. Where are you watching from? So let me know in the comment section who's all here. I want to know what you guys are up to. So go ahead while I get some things set up here and link out this video to anybody else. So go ahead, guys, let me know what you're up to. Who's here? What's up? What you doing? This training will actually start at 1. Like I said, I wanted to get on here early and just chat, hang out a bit. I know I had said that this would happen on my Facebook group, but some technical difficulties made me just leave it here on my YouTube channel. So, yeah, I am making sure this all works correctly and I hope you guys get a lot out of this. There is a checklist associated with this training. If you did not get that checklist, you can go to Bit Ly launchyourchannel checklist. I think I can enter that here in the chat box. Launch your channel checklist. And that's where you should be able to get the checklist that you're going to want to. You're going to want to have while we're going through this, and especially when we go offline and you start creating your YouTube channel, just a checklist for you to go through to make sure you've done everything you need to do to make sure your channel is properly optimized so that you can launch your channel with success. Right. Okay, I am just setting up here. Anybody listening want to let me know who you are, where you're watching from? If I do get kicked off, it's because we are about to have a giant thunderstorm here where I'm at. So if I do get kicked off, don't worry, I will be back as soon as possible. If. If you could just hang on. I will try to get back into the video as soon as possible, but of course, the weather wants to mess with us, so. Oh, now I can see the live chat. It's not showing up here on my channel, but. Hello, Amber. Hello, Nancy. Ardella. Is that how you say your name? I am not very good at pronouncing names. And Johannes. Is that right, too? Hello, you guys, we got somebody from Estonia, Iowa, Buffalo. Melissa is here from New York. Hey, you guys, I'm excited to have you. Like I was saying, I'm here in Pennsylvania and we are about to get a severe thunderstorm. I had a training. I'm not sure if any of you were here on my training the last time, but last year I had a training and I had a thunderstorm in the middle of my training. Totally lost power. So I can't say that may or may not happen this time around. So if I do drop off. Hang on, you guys, I'm going to get back as soon as possible. Redelia, Rudelia, is that right? Ridelia. Hi, Aisha from South Africa. Wow. We got people from all over the world today also. Let me know in the comments, what is one thing that's holding you back from starting a YouTube channel? If you don't have a YouTube channel yet, why not? What's that holding you back? And if you do have a YouTube channel, let me know what's the biggest struggle that you have with your YouTube channel. Pop them into the comment section so that I can answer all your questions and we can get over those hurdles. Let me go ahead and share this also on Twitter, so anybody who wants to join can pop in here. I said earlier this training is going to start at 1pm I just wanted to jump on here, start to get to know you, see where you all are at, what you all are up to. And it's starting to really downpour. Great. Right. I'm so excited that you guys are all here super early. I like that. Let's see what time it is. It is. Still got about five more minutes left, so we get started. So if you're just jumping on, go ahead and let me know who you are and where you are watching from. I don't know if I told you where I'm actually at. I am in Pennsylvania, about an hour and a half from Washington, D.C. so we're technically here. Considered the suburbs of D.C. but it's like the far, far out suburbs of D.C. since it takes about an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes to actually get to D.C. i've worked in D.C. before I started this business. My husband's done some work in D.C. so we've all. Everyone in this area kind of sort of has a touch with D.C. but yeah, and like I said, it's downpouring. We're supposed to get like 65 mile per hour wind gust, hail. So let's just hope, cross our fingers that the power does not go out on us. Hi, Nancy. I'm glad you're here. Oh, man. I know how scary it can be to be on video. I get it. Honestly, the best tip I can have for you is just do it. I do have a Facebook group for people who are nervous about getting on video as a way to start practicing your video skills. And there aren't any trolls allowed in my Facebook group so you don't have to worry about people saying mean things. It's really a group for all of us to, you know, build our confidence in being in video because I know so many people want to be on video, but they're just scared and they're afraid to hit that, you know, record button or that publish button. So I'm really hoping that this Facebook group is a great place for all of you guys. You know, build your confidence and start growing your YouTube channel there, your confidence and really start practicing your video skills over there. In my Facebook group, if you just search Facebook under video for Biz crew, it's one of the groups. Feel free to join there. Jason from Long Island. But you're. Oh, shopping. What are you shopping for, Jason? Editing. Editing can be scary, but let me tell you, I really make my editing as simple as possible. I just, you know, make jump cuts, which is basically just cutting out the parts where I pause or I mess up. I. And I don't do anything fancy at all because honestly, people are watching because they want the content you're providing. It really doesn't matter if you have a fancy intro or fancy editing or some special effects going on. As long as your content is valuable and people are learning from you and getting their questions answered from you. That's all you really need. You don't really need to let the editing process get into your head and think that you need to create some, you know, epic video through editing. So I would really just recommend you to try to keep it as simple as possible. Just cut out the mistakes you're making and post and see what kind of response you get. I'm sure people aren't gonna put right on your video. Oh, your editing was terrible. You don't have any special effects. I guarantee someone's not gonna write that unless they're a. Let's see, what else, the equipment and the ideas. Well, we're going to address the ideas here in this training in a few minutes. We got about three minutes here till we start. I'm actually going to show you guys how to easily come up with video ideas that people are searching. Sound good? This is the way I come up with my entire content plan, how I come up with my clients content plans. This is the exact process that I go through to come up with video ideas that are gonna, you know, build my channel, build my business and grow my authority. So I'm going to show you guys that here in this training. A little bit later. You were shopping. Okay, well, I'm excited that you're here, Jason. Let's see the equipment. So you guys, one of the biggest things I get from people is that they don't have a professional background. Well, guess what? I did. I had a perfect background in my office. And then we sold our house in three days. Needless to say, we didn't really have the time to get buy a new house because we're very picky. We're very particular on a house we wanted to get. So we moved into this temporary house. It's a two bedroom apartment for the four of us. If you know anything about me. Oops, sorry. I have a. Well, she'll be two tomorrow and a two month old. So the four of us are living here in this two bedroom apartment. It is not pretty as you can see. I used to have a pretty office, you know, all the space in the world. Now I'm stuck in this tiny little window with this tiny little desk. If you see on my Instagram story, I actually show you how I have this set up today, but I'm still creating content and I'm still putting it out there because the contents was valuable. You just need to get over the idea that you need to have, like, this professional studio background, because we all need to start somewhere. And if you have an ugly background, just realize that it's your content that matters most when it comes to creating your videos. And I'm proof. I've posted four videos from here this past month, and I've gotten over 2000 views on my YouTube channel just this month. And I don't have the professional background, you guys. So there's proof in the pudding, right? Hello from Colorado. Hi, Diana. Sorry. Okay, guys, I'm gonna go ahead and get started. We got one minute left. If you are just jumping in here, please let me know who you are in the comment section and where you're watching. I just want to let anybody know who's just getting on here, too. If I do drop off, it's because we are about to have a nasty storm here in Pennsylvania and I don't know if power is going to go out. I've done a training before where power has gone out and just hang tight. I will try to get back on as quick as possible. If the power does go out and there will be a replay if the power goes out, I can't get back on. I will film the whole thing without anybody on. I'll do it offline and then put it online for you all to watch. So with that being said, I'm going to go ahead and get started with this training. So I know a lot of business owners and online entrepreneurs are really thinking about starting a YouTube channel in 2017. Honestly, video is king in the content world right now. It was in 2016, and it's only expected to grow more here in 2017. But a lot of people don't really know what goes into a YouTube channel, and it pretty much scares them or they just don't know. So I want to make sure that if you are launching a YouTube channel, if that's your goal for this year, I want to make sure that you're doing it successfully and you're not just throwing up videos and not getting a response. Because video can be a lot of work. You know, you got to set up, you got to film, you got to edit, and I don't want all that time that you put into A video to go to waste. So I want to make sure if you launch a YouTube channel, you're getting people watching your videos and you're getting people subscribing to your channel. I will tell you, subscribers are not the most important thing on your channel. It's really about the views and the quality of views because you could have, you know, 100,000 subscribers, but only a thousand people watching your video. So the whole subscriber to YouTube viewership thing is kind of skewed. But you really want to think about the views you are getting. Are they quality views? And by me showing you how to target those quality views by coming up with your content ideas, I'm going to make sure all of those views you're getting are the views you need of the typical person that would want to buy from you or someone you know that's looking for your product or service. It's going to check. Are we all good and ready to get started? We're going to start out with branding your channel. So my name is Trina Little. If you haven't met me before, I'm a video content strategist and I help online entrepreneurs create a video content strategy that works for them and their business. I'm consistently getting my clients ranked on top keywords and search results on the front page of YouTube. They're consistently in within the top 20 results of keywords that we have decided are important to them that their particular client or customers are looking for. So I can show you. I know what I'm doing. I can show the proof with the ranking and I'm going to show you guys how you can get started with your YouTube channel. This training is basically for the beginner. If you just want to start your channel and make sure it looks good, the first thing that you need to do for your channel is to create a channel. So I think I'm actually going to go ahead and turn my screen on so I can kind of walk you guys through, you know, all the branding and the optimizing of the video of YouTube so you can actually see what it looks like and you can actually see what you need to do in your YouTube channel to make sure you're doing it properly. So let me go ahead and share my screen here so that you all can actually watch me explain it on video. Just going to double check that we are sharing the screen. I'm going to go to my YouTube channel. So this is my YouTube channel. If you are subscribed or not, you'll have seen some of these videos. That you've watched before. And this area right here is your channel banner. And it is essential if you're going to launch your channel that you need to have this channel banner uploaded. If you don't have it uploaded, you know you're not really going to seen as a professional. It's going to look, let me show you what it looks like if you do not have a channel banner and you can just see the difference of what it looks like. So see, that is pretty much what people are going to see if you do not have a channel banner. So that's why it is so important to make sure that you create a channel banner. And if you are unsure of how to create a channel banner, make sure you subscribe to my channel. I am launching a video tomorrow giving you the exact process on how to create a channel banner and everything that needs to go on that channel banner. Some of the most important elements to your channel banner is obviously your name or your business name. You need to make sure you know people know who you are. You also want to let people know when you are uploading videos. So maybe add your video schedule up there. When you are creating a YouTube channel, it's important to remember consistency is going to be key in launching your channel. Now I don't mean you have to upload every week the same day, same time. I mean consistently create new content. So maybe it's a new video every single week, whether that's a Monday, a Friday, a Saturday. It doesn't have to be the same day every week, just keep creating new content. So if you guys don't know the algorithm of YouTube, some of the most important parts to a YouTube channel to really get ranked in the algorithm is consistent content and interaction on your videos. So that means people liking, sharing, commenting. And we're going to get into that in a little bit more a little later in this training. So you want to make sure that you have a channel banner and be aware this channel banner is also going to show up on mobile, which is pretty much where most people are watching video these days. So you need to make sure your whatever you put in there is going to be seen in mobile. So you don't want a lot of text, you want to make it very simple readable on mobile and desktop. The next thing that you want to add and as you see on your checklist, there is a checklist. I popped that link in the comments section. I think if you guys see that it's bit lynch, launch your channel checklist. This checklist is going to Break down everything that you need to do and how long it's actually going to take. So if you see how I broke this down, it really is only going to take you one hour to successfully launch your YouTube channel. So once you're done with the channel banner, you want to look at your channel icon, which is this guy right here. You probably already have a profile picture for your Twitter or your Pinterest or your Facebook. Just keep that consistent with your icon here on YouTube. And be aware, when you do comment on people's videos, this is the icon that does pop up. So you want to make sure it's clear that people can really see who you are. I definitely suggest having a picture of you. People just connect more with an actual photo of somebody as opposed to a logo. So I know you might be thinking you want to put a logo in there, but I would definitely stick with a photo of yourself and keep it basically from the chest up. Because these are so small of an icon. You want to make sure that people can see your face so they can start to remember the name to the face and just start remembering you more. So having that photo from the chest up will really help people, you know, associate you with your channel. The next thing I want you to do, which this should only take like, five minutes because you should already have a headshot. The next thing I want you to do is to go into your video manager right up here. We're going to talk about adding a video watermark. And this is so important because people can click on that watermark in your videos and instantly subscribe to your channel. So once you go into your video manager, you want to go down here to your channel option, and from there you want to go to branding. And this is where you can upload your branding watermark. As you see, this is my watermark that I have right here. It's a logo of mine that says Trina Little, and it plays for the entire video. So you can actually pick what you want it to do. Just the end of the video, a custom start time, whatever you choose to do, that's when this watermark right here will show up through your entire video. So you don't have to worry about adding a watermark in your editing process. YouTube will automatically stamp your video for you if you upload a image. And like I said, what's great about this is when people are watching your video, if they hover over this watermark, they can instantly subscribe to you, which is a great opportunity for you to have subscribers so that when you are launching new videos, they are instantly notified when you upload a new video. So you should already have a file of your logo easily upload that five minutes tops. On to the next thing. So next, let's talk about optimizing your channel. This is important because you can actually get your video, your entire channel ranked for keywords. So if you are a business coach, obviously you want to try to rank your entire channel for business coach. So if somebody pops over to YouTube and says how to hire a business coach, it would be ideal to have your channel ranked there on that front page, right? Not even your videos, your entire channel. So you want to make sure that you have channel keywords in your back end of your YouTube. So to do that, you're going to go down here to advanced. And you guys feel free to pop in any questions that you have in the comment section. I'm checking in on them and making sure all your questions are being answered. So make sure you leave a question if you run into one. So under the advanced section of YouTube, you want to add in channel keywords right here. So these are the keywords you want to be found for. So I have video marketing, I have business tips, I have. Let's see what else we got. Content management, video, SEO, video content. So what are the keywords that you want to be found for on YouTube? That's what you want to add into your channel keywords. And if you have phrases like I do, that's two or three words, make sure you add losing a train of thought quotation marks around the entire phrase. So that's how you can add channel keywords. I would definitely try to add at least 5 to 8 channel keywords so that YouTube really knows how to rank you and what your channel is all about. The more information that you can give YouTube, the better it is for you to get ranked. So now let's go back to our channel and the next thing I want you to do is go to your about section. This also is one of the most underutilized parts of YouTube that can help you get ranked. So in this description, you want to create like a little mini bio of yourself using the same keywords that you just put into your channel keywords. Again, these are the words that you want to get ranked for YouTube. So take those keywords and kind of craft a little paragraph about yourself using those keywords as much as possible. The first couple sentences of this about you section will pop up in YouTube search results when your channel comes up. So you kind of want to make it A pitch for yourself to try to get people over to your channel. It's also a great place to let people know when your upload schedule is. If you have an upload schedule. Or maybe it's, you know, once a week. Leave that in there. Now, I do get a lot of questions from people on how to get your social media links up here. Well, that's actually under the about section that we were just at. So here are the links that you can add. If you go over to here, there's a little pencil icon guy thingy. You can actually add links to your social media accounts here. And what I actually use the first link for is my free opt in. So it's going to be important for you to not only get the views on YouTube but you want to get them over to your email list so that you can start pitching them, get them through your sales funnel. So this is a great way to do it. Whatever opt in that you have put that as your first link on your channel banner. So mine is a free script template. Maybe you actually downloaded that from me and that's how you got on my list and learned about it. But that's the first opt. That's the opt in that I have and it's the first link on my channel banner. And then the next platform that I use most frequently is Instagram. So I have my Instagram link, my Twitter, my Pinterest and my Facebook. You could also use a Facebook group here too. And you can have up to five different links. So you just want to click add as you go and add your different links. And that is how you're going to get your icons up here on your channel banner. And as you see this, the first link that you put down in this box right here is the largest. So that's why you want to put your opt in as the first one. So now we talked about the about section. That might take you a little bit longer, maybe like 10 minutes or so. But you should already be easy to write it because you already had your channel keywords in your channel keyword for your channel. How many times can I say channel, honestly? Okay, guys, how are we doing? Can I get a little checkup in the comments section? Can I get an idea of where we are at? Any questions, confusion? Not sure what we're doing. I'm gonna grab a drink of water real quick before we move on to some more optimizing of your channel. So go ahead and give this video a thumbs up. Let me know you know that you're enjoying this I also want to let you guys know that if you do share this video on social media, whether Twitter, if you go over down below and you go to share the little square arrow button below this YouTube video, you can share this YouTube video on Facebook or on Twitter. If you do share this video on Twitter or Facebook and you tag me, Trina, as in Nicole Little, tag me and you can enter to win a free course of mine, which is a video for beginners course, which is my flagship course and a free one hour strategy call with me. So to be eligible to win this, the winner will be announced at the end of this training. You have to be online to win that, but you also have to share this video right now on Facebook or on Twitter. You will get the free video for beginners course which teaches you everything you need, you know, to get started with video and YouTube and a free one hour strategy call with me again, just share this on Facebook or on Twitter and make sure you tag me Trina. T R E N A N as in Nicole Little. Share it out to all of your friends and the winner will be announced at the end of this training. All right, you guys, question here. If I want to do a weekly art demo in addition to my other videos, can I create a subscription just for that? Do you want to do. Are you talking about two videos or subscription subscription just for a weekly art demo. So when you do with your YouTube video, all of your videos are on your channel. You can't, you know, break it up by different videos. So if somebody subscribes to your channel, they're going to be there getting updates on your art demo and your other videos. So what types of other videos do you have? Are people that are watching your other videos going to value your art videos and want to see your art videos and vice versa? Are, are the people that are watching your art videos getting value and want to see your other videos? What are the two types of videos that you are doing? All right, you guys, let's move on. Remember, don't forget to share this video to win my course and a one hour strategy call with me. So now we're going to go to the front page organization which I see a lot of people don't really utilize. So you see, this is what my channel looks like when somebody, when a returning subscriber lands on my channel. So if a brand new per. If you're already subscribed to my channel, this is what my channel looks like. If you don't have this set up, it's not going to be set up in this organized fashion for new visitors. This is what it's going to look like when people come to your channel. So they're instantly getting this channel trailer from me to let them know who I am so they can watch that and decide if this is the content they want to subscribe to. And your channel trailer should really be something that makes people excited to want to subscribe to your channel. But this is how a setup channel looks. And to get up, to get a setup channel, you want to go to this cog right here. And here are your channel settings so you can keep all your videos, the videos that you like. So say you just liked this video, you went down and clicked that thumbs up button. That's how you like this video. So if you click that thumbs up button, that's one of your liked videos and it will automatically go into a playlist on your channel called your like videos. So you can turn that on or turn that off. That's totally up to you. You can also keep private any subscriptions that you have. So if you subscribe to people and you don't want people to know who you subscribe to, you can turn that off. But if you don't care who people see you're subscribed to, you can turn it on. It totally does not matter. Now what I want you to really focus on right here is customizing the layout of your channel. You want to make sure that is turned on. You definitely want to customize the layout of your channel. It's going to allow you to rearrange your videos, your most popular ones up top. It's just going to allow you to really let your quality content shine and let you decide what your quality content is to really allow people to see more of it. So make sure that that is turned on and you want to click save. Let's see, we freezing. And that's how you're going to get this look. So I would definitely keep this little section as your upload. So as you upload a new video, it will get placed in this very first section right here. Uploads. YouTube already creates this playlist for you. I think it's great for you to keep your most recent videos updated right here. Now one of the other playlists I think is essential is your popular uploads. So these are the videos that you're getting the most views on. These are obviously the videos that people really find valuable because you have so many views on them. Those you can put as your second playlist right here. And so these are actually playlists. So somebody can go click, play all. And what's great about this is it's basically like somebody binging on your channel, which is what you want. The more people watch you, the more people get to know you, the more they want to buy from you. And so after this video is done, since it's in a playlist, this is the next video that will play, and then this video will play and this video will play. And the more people watch your videos, the more authority you build in YouTube and the more authority you build in YouTube, the higher they will rank you in search results. So view time is so important. Having these playlists are so important to really build your authority in YouTube. So let's go back to how to create a playlist. So I have a playlist here specifically on how to start a YouTube channel. And why I have it named how to start a YouTube channel is because it's a key phrase that my ideal client is searching for on YouTube and in Google. So I can actually get this playlist ranked on YouTube. It's also a playlist that if somebody came to my channel and wanted to learn how to start a YouTube channel, they could sit down and watch all these videos and I could really boost my viewership on my channel, building my authority. And it allows people to get to know me more by watching my videos. So let me just show you real quickly. I do not have a description in this playlist yet, but it's so important to have your description with keywords like I have here for how to get comfortable in camera. I have create video content, confidence to be on camera, comfortable on camera. Those are all keywords in the description that's going to help me get ranked in YouTube. So the way you can create a playlist is you go down to add a section and you can select the content. So see, it already has uploads and popular uploads that you can add. You can also add a live now. And if you want to create a playlist, you can go over here to playlists. You can see all the playlists that you have created and you can go to create a new playlist. So let's say I want to do a playlist YouTube. I want to make sure it's public. I don't want it unlisted. I want it to be public. I want to create from there. I can add my description and I can add videos so I can add videos from other people. If I don't have any content yet, which I'm going to touch on in just a minute. Or I can add my own videos. So you can add content from other people. Let me just grab a drink here real quick. So Diana, you can't create a specific subscription for specific for specific videos. The subscription is going to be for your entire channel. So whatever you're putting on that channel, people are going to subscribe to and get updates on. What should I choose for channel category? I'm a business marketing consultant. People, blogs. So I would just go with education. You're probably going to be teaching people anyways. The whole category in YouTube thing isn't a huge deal. It's not one of the make or break things in analytics. So I would just go with education. I believe that's what I have in my channel. Like I said, it's not a make or break when it comes to analytics on YouTube. Alright, so you're starting your YouTube channel. You got it branded, you got it optimized, but you don't have any videos yet. So what can you do to get videos on your channel instantly when you launch your channel but not have any videos of yourself? So what you want to do is you can actually add videos from other people's channels. The videos you want to focus on are videos that your audience would value. So I teach video content. Obviously I teach YouTube. So in this YouTube tips channel playlist, if I don't have any videos, I want to add a video and maybe I just go here in YouTube tips and these are all videos that I can add. I can click on this, add the video to my playlist. I know people are coming to my channel to find YouTube tips because that's what I teach. That's what's on my social media, that's what's on my email, my website. So people are coming to my channel to learn YouTube tips, but I don't have any videos yet. So I'm going to provide the best value videos that I have found on YouTube to include on a playlist. Then as I start creating videos, I start creating YouTube tips. I'm going to add them to this playlist and I'm going to add them to the top of the playlist so that people will watch my videos before they watch somebody else's video. But it's just a way to continue to have that valuable content on your channel if you don't have any videos up yet. So yeah. Any questions about that? Oh great, Diana, you got that one answered. But I know a lot of people think, you know, they need to launch their channel and have like five, 10 videos up. It's perfectly fine to launch your channel with just a single playlist. You know, maybe you are a web designer and so you have DIY web, best DIY website tips, whatever you want to do. And maybe you even have other web designer friends. I have a YouTube channel. Add their videos to that playlist. Allow them to get some, you know, promotion from you. Also, YouTube is a great community of sharing content and really growing together. So the more you can share other people's content, the more your content is going to get shared, the more we're going to grow together. So that's a great way to go ahead and start getting content on your channel. So by now you should have your channel pretty much ready to launch. You have it branded, you have it optimized in the back end. Should have only took you around an hour to do as long as you had some of this stuff already done. So let's show you how. Let me show you how you can come up with content that your audience is searching. One of the biggest places I go for my content is YouTube search. This guy right here is going to answer all of your questions. I want to get somebody who's watching, give me a keyword or phrase of what you do. I want to know what somebody does that I can search and come up with, you know, three or four video ideas for you. So go ahead and let me know in the comments section, what do any of you give me? Something one of you do. So what I'll do, I'll show you. For me example, I'm going to type in video content tips. So see, I started typing in video content. What comes up? Video content analysis. Video content marketing. Video content creation. Video content strategy. Video content marketing strategy. These are all titles of videos that I could do that are going to get ranked in YouTube. They're obviously highly searched. So you go to. Let's go to video content strategy. You see, this is searched. There's over 21 million search results that pop up. So this is actual phrase that people are searching on YouTube. You can also go and see the videos that are popping up here. So how to make videos for business. That's one of the first videos that comes up. That's a great video idea that I can put my own take on. How to create videos for business. Another one, how to create a content strategy for content marketing. That's another video idea I could do. How to organize your video content strategy for YouTube. This is all great video ideas that you can come up with just by searching on YouTube. And these are actual video ideas that are being searched. Now. I know you might see like this going on here and these, these guys right here. Vidiq is a Google Chrome plugin that kind of gives you a little more insert insight on YouTube analytics. So with video content strategy, that keyword you will see Overall it has 45 out of a hundred performance. So it's not enough search volume for the search queries report. So it's not technically a good keyword. These are tags that these videos have, which I'm going to talk about tags in a little bit. How to make a video for business that could be a great video idea that she tagged. Sunny is actually really good with YouTube. If you have any more ideas, you know, you need some tutorials or something. Sunny has great tutorials. So this is just a little plugin that I have called Vidiq for Google Chrome. So let's see, we got. Let's go with Instagram marketing first. So I'm thinking an idea, a question people might have when starting Instagram marketing is how to start Instagram. So there is how to start Instagram Live. How to start Instagram Live video. Those are all ideas that people are searching here on YouTube that you could get started with with video ideas. But let's look at Instagram marketing. Let's do how to Instagram. How to Instagram marketing. How to use Instagram to market your business. How to use Instagram for marketing. See, these are all ideas that video ideas that you can get started with that people are searching on YouTube. So we just go click on how to use Instagram to market your business. Here are some great video ideas that people already have. As you see, that particular keyword isn't necessarily something searched a lot. But here are the top search keywords. How to use Instagram to market your business. So let's look at that. How to use Instagram to market your business. And you'll see you know how to use Instagram to promote your business. How to use Instagram to promote your business. Again, how to use Instagram for business. These are all keywords and phrases that you can use. You can also click on one of these videos and if you right click on this video, you can get the. Hold on. It's been a while since I've done this. If you right click, you can get the. Where is it? Page source. Have not done this in a while. It's page source. Maybe if you go to the Page source and then you just search for keywords, you can find the keywords and phrases in here if you don't have the Vidiq plugin, just do command. That's not what I wanted. You just go over here and search. Let's see. Find you type in tags here for keywords she used. How to use Instagram to market your business. Instagram marketing, Instagram small business. Instagram business marketing tips, Social media, Instagram. Those are all phrases and keywords you can use in your video to really start to come up with video ideas. So what's the competition? Search volume should be to start with. Basically, if you're just getting started out on YouTube, you just want to start getting some videos up. I really wouldn't focus so much on the search optimization. That whole little thing that I showed you on the side, it just pops up with my Vidiq. I didn't want you guys to get confused with that. So I really want to focus on that to start with. But I want you to see what people are searching to come up with ideas that people are actually searching on YouTube. So let me go through acrylic painting tips. Let's see what comes up with that AC. Let me spell right, so we've got acrylic painting. Acrylic painting for beginners. There's a great video idea, acrylic painting tutorial. Maybe you start a whole series on acrylic painting tutorials, Acrylic painting technique techniques. Those are all great video ideas that you can get started with that people are already searching for on YouTube. So let's see if we go acrylic painting techniques. Acrylic painting on canvas, acrylic painting on paper, acrylic painting flowers. Those are all video ideas to get you started with content that people are actually searching on YouTube. Okay, so I want you to go ahead on YouTube and search, you know, your keywords and phrases there and come up with five ideas that you could do based on what's coming up in YouTube search results. I'm going to go ahead and grab a drink of water again and we're going to move to the Google keyword tool, which is another place I used to come up with content ideas. Alright, so I'm going to log into, I'm going to go to Google AdWords and I'm going to sign in here. Why I use the black title strips, Diana. That's how I'm branding my style thumbnail. So another part of branding is also your thumbnail. You want to keep your thumbnails consistent. So if people find a video of yours anywhere out there on, on YouTube, they recognize that's you. That's your thumbnail, that's your branding. So that's how I decided to brand my thumbnails because my branding is basically black, white, and like a goldish. Excuse me, a goldish color. So I kept all of my branding on my YouTube that those colors so that people know that's me. I use the same font, I use the same, you know, style of thumbnail so that people can instantly see that thumbnail and know it's for me. So if there's like a long list that they're scrolling through on YouTube search and they see that thumbnail, they're like, oh, yeah, that's Trina's. So that's why I have those black title strips on all of your videos. I do suggest that you come up with your own, you know, way to brand your thumbnail so that people know this is your video. This is, you know, they associate your branding to your channel. I hope that answers your question. Great. All right, so of course Google AdWords isn't going to want to work here. Let's try this again. And you can, you can get your own Google AdWords account. It does not cost anything for you to get in there. It will ask you to set up a budget, a campaign, but you can set it up and instantly deactivate it. So that's how you can get a Google AdWords account. So this is the wrong account. I think I'm back on now. Sorry about that. So, yeah, I was trying to switch my account and obviously Google kicked me out because I wasn't still in there in this account. So there we are. We're back live. Thank you for hanging on. I appreciate it. I'll go back to sharing my screen here. Okay, so let's see. We are back live. We were talking Google keywords. Let me see if I can actually pull it up on Chrome on a different web service without getting kicked out. Let me pull it up on Safari. All right, come on, Safari. Work with me here. I wanted to show you guys how to use Google keyword tool. But if it's not gonna work for me, I can do it. I can do a different training specifically on that for you guys, if that's something that you would want me to do. Let's see if I can get it up. I can type first. Thank you guys for hanging on. I super, super appreciate it. Let's see if I can get this working, please. Luckily, the storm held off. It was just me not thinking and kicking myself out of my own account. So I'm. I don't think this will kick me out. Let's see, we're still going here. I see. I'm still alive. Thank you guys for hanging on. So once you get into Google AdWords, you're going to go up here to Tools. I'm just making sure I'm still on Live since I've switched and loaded into another account and yes, we are still live. Good. So once you get into here, you're gonna go to Tools and keyword planner. Then right here, search for new keywords using phrase, website or category. So let's go back with a quick acrylic paints. I need to grab that one. Okay. So you guys, I'm not a very good speller so I'm just making sure I'm spelling this right. Let's go with acrylic paint tips. Okay. And let's get ideas from there. You're going to see the search volume on Google. So you'll see acrylic painting tips on average has 1,000 to 10,000 average monthly searches and it has low competition. So this is actually going to be a great video title for you. I forget Diana. No. Who had this? Totally. Yeah. Diana, this is going to be a great keyword for you to use. Acrylic painting tips. You can also go down in here. Here's another great one. A thousand to ten thousand average month monthly searches, low competition acrylic painting techniques, acrylic painting ideas. So I would definitely stick away from the high competition phrases because you're. If you're just starting out on YouTube and stick to more of the low competition. I would even go down here to 100 to 1000 average monthly searches as a way to start getting your videos ranked on YouTube. Even though it has low monthly searches, it's a great opportunity for you to start getting ranked and those front page search results which is what you need to do to start building your authority on YouTube. Let's go to Instagram marketing. Tip. So from here we will see. Let's get ideas. Sometimes it doesn't want to work with me. Instagram marketing tips. This is a great video idea for you. Low competition. 100,000 average monthly searches. Average monthly searches. So there's a great video idea, a keyword, a key phrase for you to get started with. Let's see what else we got. If you know anything about Instagram ads, I would definitely do a video on Instagram ads because it's got low competition but a lot of people are searching it. Instagram marketing strategy. If you have a way to create an Instagram marketing strategy, I would definitely Create a video on Instagram marketing strategies. It's got low competition and a good amount of searches each month. So yeah, definitely go through here. Start looking at ideas. Marry these ideas up with your YouTube ideas that you found and just start creating a list of ideas from that to really get you started with content ideas. So go ahead and start writing down, you know, five ideas for your Google keywords tool that you came up with. And now finally, we are going to go into how to get your videos ranked. Right. You all want to know how to get your videos ranked. So the three major things to look at with your videos is your title. Let me go into one of these and show you. Let's see. Let's do this one. This is my video from last week. And again, this, this isn't the one I wanted. Let's go to this one. This little column right here is from Vidiq. It's that Google Chrome plugin that I talked about. So what you want to do is to get your videos ranked on YouTube. You want to focus on your title, which is going to be a keyword or phrase that you found by searching YouTube and searching Google Keyword tool. So you want like a primary keyword or phrase for your title. Then you want to make sure that you use that primary keyword or phrase in your description of box. This is all part of analytics that goes into YouTube. So you want to make sure that is in your description. Then you also want to make sure it's in one of your tags. So how to brand your YouTube channel, that is going to also be in your tags. You'll see these are the tags that I have for this video and I'm ranking number nine for how to brand new YouTube channel in 2017. So obviously I can can get videos ranked. I can show you different videos that are ranked higher. But you want to focus again on your title, your description and your tags having that keyword. You also want to create like a mini blog post down in here using as many secondary keywords or phrases that you found by searching on YouTube and Google AdWords. So my secondary keywords were, you know, tips for growing your channel, how to grow your channel, YouTube tips. Those were all secondary keywords and phrases that I use. So I made sure I use them here in my description box. So that is basically how you can get your videos ranked. Those are the three most important parts to getting your videos ranked is having a keyword or phrase in your title, your description and in your tags. I can show you. See this video has been doing Pretty well. We can see how it's ranked. There we go. Number 13 for how to optimize your channel. How to optimize your channel. Number 12. Those were all ways that I got my channel ranked. For those keywords and phrases. Let me jump back in here. Do you need to have a few, I think you mean few videos before you launch? So I'm going to go ahead and turn this. Oh, yes, okay. Sorry. Squirrel syndrome. Thinking about different things, I would suggest having a couple of videos ready so that you can stay consistent. Because it's going to be important to stay consistent uploading those videos. But I mean, you don't have to have, you know, five videos on your channel before you officially launch. I would just, you know, make one live, one at a time. Like one one week, one the next. Just whatever your upload schedule is going to be. And I mean, it's a great way to start. You don't need to stress yourself out by having, you know, five videos ready to go. I would definitely have maybe five videos ready to be edited, you know, so that you can stick with your schedule a lot easier. But they don't have to be on your channel already. There was something you also, for a little bonus action, want to add your call to action here in this first line because it's above the fold. You don't want people to have to click Show More to be able to opt into your email list. So I have my free video script template here. People can click that. They didn't have to do Show More to get to it. So it's just an easier way to convert your viewers into email subscribers. And then one other title is what other tag you should always include in your video tags is your name or your business name. That way, when people come to YouTube and say they search my name, I want my videos popping up right there. You can see my videos are popping up. There's my channel. There's my mom channel. Here's my most recent video I have. This is the video that we're currently live on. So you want to make sure that your business name or your name is always in one the of of your tags. And I believe that is what I've got for you guys today. I did want to tell you all that for being here today. I have a promo code for you to grab my YouTube for Biz101 course. That course just basically goes into more detail and more education on, you know, ranking. There's more ways that YouTube really factors in the algorithm. So if you want to grab that course for $50 off. I have the link to the course down in the description box below and you can use the coupon launch your channel to get $50 off. This isn't a pitching training at all. I told you this was pitch free. So I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you all taking time out of your day to be here. And so I wanted to reward you all with that promo code to get $50 off my YouTube for Biz course. The links down below and the promo code is launch your channel. With that. I'm gonna go ahead and open up for questions. I mean I can be here for as long as you guys have questions. Really? Do you need to have a few? I answered that one. Is there an optimal video length? So I would definitely stick to keeping your videos under five minutes. We all have very short attention spans these days. Unless you're doing a tutorial video where you're actually walking people through how to do something. Obviously that video needs to be as long as possible to teach people what it is you're teaching. But I would definitely keep any tips or tricks or other videos like that to under five minutes. Really, because that's all people are going to probably watch. You can start creating videos different lengths if you want to test them out. And then like a month after that video has gone live, you can really start to analyze that length of video in your channel analytics. Google mean YouTube gives you all this information in your analytics for you to really see if that video length is good for your audience. Where they're dropping off. It's going to show you exactly where people are dropping off. So you can know if you need to intro yourself better or if you need to cut your videos down. If people are only staying for like three minutes, maybe just create three minute videos. So that's really the advice that I have for video length. Should I delete old channel or can I make another two? Can I move? You cannot move subscribers. If you delete that channel, you'll delete all of those viewers, all those subscribers. So if you're thinking about changing the direction of of your YouTube channel. I actually did this with a client. Her YouTube channel actually focused on healthy eating and then she moved more towards speaking, like how to use speaking in your business. And we just kept that channel. We just moved all of those videos on healthy eating to private and just started uploading her new videos on how to speak for your business. And you're obviously going to lose subscribers who aren't really interested in that content. They signed up for your channel, for different content. But there will also be people that stick around that may be interested in your new content. So I would not delete it, maybe keep it. And just be aware that you will lose subscribers there in the beginning. I currently have two channels, but those are be. That's because my two audiences in those channels are completely different. So I have like a mom lifestyle channel on, like, you know, living being a mom and what I do to stay healthy and stuff like that. And then I have this channel here. And obviously you guys aren't going to be as interested in my mom stuff. So if I were to post that mom stuff to this channel, you guys might not really want to subscribe to the channel because you came here to watch, you know, tips on how to create video content and how to use YouTube in your business. Whereas on the flip side, those that are on my mom's channel, they really don't care about using YouTube in business or in business at all. They're more about learning, you know, how to sleep, train a baby, or how to lose pregnancy weight. So that's why I have two channels. The audience really doesn't marry up. So that's why I had two separate channels. Thank you, Domestic Wildflower. I appreciate you being here. I have a ton of videos on my channel that are completely unrelated. I just need to put up videos for my day job. But the unrelated embedded other places change them to private. If you change them to unlisted, those links will still work, but those videos will not show up on your channel. So I would switch them to unlisted. That way if they are embedded somewhere, they can still be watched wherever they're embedded, but they will not be on your channel. If you move it to private, wherever it's embedded, the video is not going to be accessible anymore. So if you want to leave them embedded where they are, change the video to unlisted. Great. All right, now let's see who is going to win my free strategy call and my course video for beginners also. Anybody have any more questions? This is totally open to all of you right now. Get your questions answered. Are any of you guys launching a channel soon? I would love to know if you're launching a channel soon. I love subscribing to my students, to my trainees. After this training, I'm going to go ahead and email you and let you know how to set everything up and how you can get that course for free. Also, you guys, remember, you can get my YouTube for Business 101, which goes into much more detail and little insider tips and tricks on how to get your videos ranked. The link to that's down below. I think it's Bit lee video for Biz101, and you can save $50 on it. I'll have that promo code available for you for today. $50 off with launch your channel. It's really everything that you need to know that I have used to get my clients ranked that I've used this month and in this month alone. Well, now we're in March, but in February, I had over 2000 views on my channel just in one month alone. So I'm sharing those exact strategies in that course. If you want to grab that, I would definitely go get it. While you can save $50, it brings the course to under a hundred bucks. So I think it brings the course like $87 maybe. So if that's something, if YouTube is something you really want to focus growing your business on, I would definitely grab that with this promo code because it's going to Teach you everything that you need to know. Anybody else got some questions? I've got answers. It was fun you guys let me know. Also in the comment section is there another type of training that you guys would like to have from me? I know editing is a problem with some people. Would you like to maybe just see me how I edit my videos? Like pop on here live as I edit a video so you guys can see what I actually do. Is that something that you all would like like me to do? Let me know if that's something. If there were any other video ideas you would want me to do with you. Any other trainings? I really like doing these trainings. I like sharing what I know. I like helping you guys. I like seeing you all grow in your channel. So any way that I can help you guys Webcam references So do you mean like what I use for webcam? Because the webcam I'm using right now is a Logitech C920 I believe works for me. You can see it's kind of pretty decent quality. I know a lot of people use this camera. I think it was under a hundred dollars. You could use this video. You could use this camera also for your YouTube videos. So you don't need like the fancy DSLR camera. You guys, I don't have a fancy DSLR camera. I chose not to invest in one because I don't want to mess with all of the settings and stuff with DSLR cameras. I have a Canon G7X. It's a more expensive point and shoot but it has a flip up screen. Let me just. I think I have it right here. I chose it. It does hd. It really has just as good quality as a DSLR camera and it is small. So the reason why I like this one is because it has this flip up screen so you can see yourself while you're recording. That way you don't have to worry about recording your entire video and you being blurry or out of focus. I know a lot of people have that problem with their DSLRs. This way you can film and you can see yourself to make sure you're in focus. But remember when you are recording to look into the lens, not here. So this is the camera that I shoot all of my YouTube videos on. I love it. I love that I can throw it in my purse too. I use it for family stuff. So that's why I decided to invest in this camera instead of a DSLR camera. Let's see. Editing Screen Flow. I do use Screen Flow occasionally with tutorials I don't really get into. I have. What's the one that I have now? Screen. Screen flow. Yeah, I just hit record and use it. I use my blue Yeti mic, which I have right here. I use that for voiceovers in my tutorials. I think. Let me look. I do have all the equipment that I use done in the description box and links right to the actual equipment that I use for everything. Mic, camera, lighting. What else I got in there? Memory card editing software. I have that all linked down in the description bar box. If you want to learn more about the equipment that I use. Audio. Like I said, I use the blue Yeti. I've also just used my iPhone, earbuds or whatever you want to call them. I've used this as voiceovers. I've also used my phone voice memo app as voiceovers too. So there are easier ways to do, you know, audio than buying something super fancy like a blue Yeti microphone. You can do, like I said this because it has a mic on it. You can do voice memo app on your phone. So those are different ways that you can do your audio. I always have problems knowing what format to save the video in and upload to YouTube. So I just had that problem with the format. So YouTube prefers a. Let me double check this here. Because I was putting it in a wrong format and it was taking forever to get up on YouTube and that's the first time I've ever experienced that before. So I actually upload all of my videos. I think it's an MP4. The mov is what was making it so slow to upload. So try to save it in an MP4 format. If you're using Final Cut Pro, I think you want to save it. I could do a total video on that. Or if you have more questions, just send me a message. I can walk you through how to do that. But definitely save your videos in an MP4 format because it'll help it get up on YouTube, upload it to YouTube a lot faster. So, Diana, you want to see training on YouTube live? I think if that's what you want to see, I could totally do that. I know someone already asked that too, like how to screen share. Since Google Hangouts is now gone and now it's YouTube Live, but it's basically Google Hangouts. Still, I could totally do that. This is how I handle all my training and all my webinars. I do it here on YouTube. I don't have anything fancy. I do have my laptop set up here so I can see all of Your comments. But I mean, I don't have webinar jam. I don't have anything fancy. I'm a one person show here. I handle the comments, I handle the training, I handle the emails. So I'm doing it. If I can do it, I know you guys can do it. It's not too tricky. Once you do it a few times, you get the hang of it. Uploading videos, is there a way? So the problem with uploading is definitely going to be your Internet service. So you may want to check that. You can always go online to like speedtest.com or you can go to your server service provider and they'll have like a speed test for you to do on your actual Internet provider to see how fast your speed is. So there are two different speeds when it comes to Internet. There's upload speed and download speed. I'm no technical whiz at this. I just know from trying to figure out what we needed here in our house, what I've picked up. So there's an upload speed and there's a download speed speed. Download speed is usually a lot faster. And for me, my download speed at my house is typically around 20 gigabytes per second. 20 gigabytes. 20 megabytes. 20. I think it's 20 gigabytes per second. Whereas my upload speed, which is. I don't think it's gigabytes per second, you guys. I'm not sure. I told you I wasn't technical. Anyways, it's like 20 to 30 download. But then when I upload to YouTube, it's a lot slower. So the upload speed is always a lot slower than the download speed. And if you have a upload speed under 5 megabytes, I almost charts megabytes per second. If you have an upload speed under 5 megabytes per second and your videos are like 10, 20 minutes long, it is going to take a long time to upload. I have a higher upload speed as it is and it still takes me some time to get those videos on YouTube. It's just your service provider, the Internet that you have, I mean, I haven't found a way yet to, you know, compress the files and get them up on YouTube any faster. If any of you guys have any suggestions on how to do that, I would love to hear. That's not my expertise. I'm no tech guru on all of this. So that's the information I have on that megabytes. Thank you, Chantal. Yeah, I'm not technical here. Okay. We saw some people on here. If you guys have any questions again, I'm here, I'm open. That's where we're at. Just thought I'd ask for my more tips or tricks. It's so slow. I know. We actually, when we moved here, we got faster Internet and we didn't get actual TV cable, we just got, you know, basic cable and then we got higher Internet speeds for me to be able to do stuff like this and be able to get my videos up, since I do upload two videos a week to this channel and one video a week to my mom channel. So we did, you know, look at different possibilities for higher Internet speeds. And we do pay more for the higher Internet, but we got rid of cable so it was a trade off for us. My YouTube for Business 101 course does not teach editing, but the Video for Beginners course does have an entire section, a whole training on editing in imovie. So if that's something that you're interested in, I can get you a $50 coupon also for Video for beginners if you want to get that course. If editing is something you're really interested in, maybe I could do a training here. Let me know if that's something you guys would be interested in. YouTube for Business 101 basically covers everything you need to do to be successful on YouTube and get ranked on the front page of YouTube from how to name your file on YouTube, how to create a thumbnail, how you should name that thumbnail, how to get rid of ranked, how to share it, how to promote it, how to really start growing your subscribers, your viewerships, all that kind of stuff, everything that I do to get to over 2000 views on my channel just this month. And just so it's not daunting to you guys, I got over 2000 views on my channel just this month and I'm at around 500 subscribers. So really doesn't matter the amount of subscribers that you have. It's views do not relate to subscribers at all. If you look at any YouTubers, some of them may have, you know, over a hundred thousand subscribers and then only get like a thousand views. One thing that's really going to be important if you want to grow your channel is getting your content out there. And so my Facebook group video for Biz Crew is a place where you can share your videos. It's so important to get those videos out and shared the first 24 hours you upload them. My course goes into explaining exactly why, but you can totally share your Videos in my video for biz crew any time of the week. I don't have a special promo day for videos because I want that Facebook group to be a group where you can share your videos so that you can continue to get your videos ranked and shared. And everybody in that group is going over to each other's videos to share like and comment to really get that comment interaction analytics up in YouTube to kill continue to get you right. So if you're interested in growing your channel, make sure you head on over to my channel. My Facebook group. I know this training was actually supposed to be in Facebook, my Facebook group but there was some technical difficulties. That's why it was held here on YouTube. So if you aren't on subscribed, if you aren't a part of my Facebook group, just search video for biz crew. I think it's facebook.com backslash groups backslash video for biz Crow and start sharing your videos in there and start practicing your video skills there. Let's see Final Cut Pro. So I did just switch to Final Cut Pro and there is a learning curve. Let me tell you. It's not just imovie, you know, on crack there's a lot of. There's a big learning curve. I'm still kind of using imovie actually because I haven't had the time to learn Final Cut Pro. One of the things I do like on Final Cut Pro is to be able to correct the lighting, to be able to saturate it more, make it brighter. Just because I am in this like yellowish room now, it just kind of washes me out. So Final Cut pro allows me to do that. I like Final Cut Pro. I haven't figured out all the, you know, tips and tricks and features of Final Cut Pro. Just be aware, there is a learning curve. But you can do a lot more on Final Cut Pro if you have the time to learn it. And I haven't had the time to learn it yet. I have a two month old baby. Does your course teach how to shoot? There's two courses which should a person. So domestic Wildflower, the video for the video for beginners course actually walks through, building your confidence, coming up with a content plan, editing your video. And then the YouTube for Biz101 course is inside of video for beginners. So video for Biz101 is actually a little mini course. I broke out of that for people who didn't need to learn all about the video for stuff like building your confidence and editing and lighting and equipment and Setup and all that stuff. That's all in the big course, the Video for beginners course. YouTube for biz101 is inside that course. But I have also broken it out of that course for people who just want to learn YouTube too, who don't need that other training. So it's totally where you're at. If you're comfortable with video, if you're comfortable with editing, then I would definitely suggest just doing the YouTube course. You don't need the whole big course to, you know, build your confidence. You're confident already. You're filming videos already, Then you really don't need that course. You just probably need the YouTube for Biz101 course to learn how to use YouTube. Really? How directly do you connect your YouTube? Success is monetization. And does your course cover that? So monetization, you can look at that. There are different ways to look at that. I do not monetize my videos on this channel at all. The reason why I don't is because I'm teaching people and I'm wanting people to go over to my website and actually buy from me or work with me. So I don't monetize here on this channel. I don't feel I should monetize. I want people to. To take in the content and learn from me. And I don't want to be making money from them with this content here now on my mom channel, I'm not pushing them to some other website or some other type of service. So I do monetize on my mom channel. But be aware that monetizing on YouTube is pennies. Honestly, my mom channel has been on YouTube for over two years, and I still haven't had a check from YouTube. So be aware that the only way you're gonna get any money from YouTube is if your videos are constantly getting thousands of views. And so then you just need to think about what it's worth to you. Are those pennies worth it or are the actual views worth it? Because if you play an ad before your video, what are the chances someone's gonna click off of it? So do you want people to watch your content? Is that more important than making pennies on YouTube? It's totally a personal decision, and there's different thoughts on that. And that's my thought on monetizing. What else? How does it work? I want to launch my YouTube channel, Irene. How does what work? Did I miss something? Not sure. How does what work? For editing, I suggest Sony Vegas. Thank you, Johannes. I appreciate you giving your input because Everybody has different preferences. I just know that's what was on my computer. I had imovie, so that's what I did. So thank you for sharing your recommendation. I really appreciate that. A good source of learning that. Oh, great. Thank you, Jackie. I did one month. Awesome. I'm definitely gonna check her out. Thank you, Jackie. I see. But your biz website success is from your people watching you and eventually, yeah, so that's. I'm using this channel to build my authority and for people to build a relationship with me. Because by being me being on video, they can connect with me faster than just, you know, reading my content on a blog. So creating these videos are a way for me to connect with people faster and build a relationship. So when the time comes that they maybe need to hire somebody to manage their YouTube channel or maybe they want to buy that course from me, they feel comfortable making that purchase because they already feel like they know me from watching my videos. So that's how I see. I'm monetizing my videos. So I don't want to make them sit through the actual ads and make pennies on YouTube when I can, you know, connect with them instantly with my video without any ads, and then get them over to my website, work with me, buy a course or whatever it is that they decide to purchase. So that's really how I'm using YouTube here, to monetize my channel and the way I'm using it to really grow. My email list is in every video that I have. I have a call to action to sign up for a free download. Just like you here in with your blogs. You should have a free opt in. You should have a free opt in with your videos and tell people, you know, they can get this checklist or worksheet by clicking the link below and have, you know, your link to your sign in your upload your opt in or whatever in your description box to get them over onto your email list. So then you can start to funnel them through a sales funnel or start to pitch to them or get to know them even more through, you know, your newsletters or however you grow your business with your email list. That's how you can definitely start to grow your business from using. All right, Diana, thank you for being here. Okay, you guys, I think that should about wrap it up.
