Like I said, today I'm going to show you how I tackle my to.
Do list and the first thing that.
I really do is plan it out on Sunday. So on Sunday, I'm just going to brain dump all of the little tasks and things that I'm thinking about that I need to get done, just plain brain dump on a piece of paper. Then what I'll do is start prioritizing that list. I like to grab different colored highlighters to figure out what has to get done. What what would I like to get done and what is something I want to get done, but it's not top priority. This allows me to see, you know, how heavy my to do list is that week. Then I like to take all of these things and move them into Trello. Paper planners are great and I love my Erin Condren life planner, but having everything on Trello electronically just allows me to keep everything in one spot. So I don't have 25 different to do lists and 10 different notebooks all over my house. Trello really keeps me accountable and it makes sure I don't let things slip through the cracks. So let me show you how I set up my Trello weekly board.
So this is what my weekly Trello board looks like. So on Sunday, once I write everything down on paper, I'm going to just put them in here in my brain dump so that I can easily just grab this and decide where I'm going to work on it that day. So I know I have a mastermind on Tuesday afternoon, so I'm going to move that to Tuesday. I also know my YouTube bootcamp call is on Wednesday at 1, which is before my Facebook Live. These little labeled ones right here are things I do every single week so I don't have to keep replacing them. Every Monday morning I go into my mastermind and do my fresh goals and Then I wrap them up on Thursday to show what I completed. I know every Wednesday I'm going live on my Facebook page. Also, some other things I do every single week on the same days is get my Tuesday video ready on Monday. So Tuesday's video is always here. What I do is I'll go in and check these all off, so once it's all done, it'll show up green. And then at the end of the week, I'll go back in here and uncheck these so I know to go back and do them again. Whereas these little cards. So say this happened. I got my webinar slides done. I can just easily go in here to archive, and it's gone. I want to keep these here because they happen every single week. I also have an ongoing project so list for my current clients.
And so for client one, you know.
I have her channel checklist to do. I got a content plan to come up with, and she has a new video every single week. So I got to go in here, make sure her video is edited, create the thumbnail, just the checklist for all the things I need to do for her video. Client number two is, you know, their channel audit and any other tasks that I need to do for them that week. And it just helps me see these ongoing projects of client work as opposed to every single task that they need to do as well for my business. So. So if I need to, I'll always take this and move it over to here and maybe just add content plan for client number one. So that way I know I gotta get that done on Tuesday. And then if something doesn't get done or something gets pushed or gets delayed, I can always grab that card and move it over to Friday, because Friday is always my backup day.
So that's just really how I like.
To organize my stuff. I love this brain dump because I can just add things in here as I think about them throughout the week. So I so say I'm going through here. And I'm like, oh yeah, I need to email Janet, or I need to finalize thumbnail template. Just as they pop into my head, say it's a Monday and I'm doing some client work, and it just pops into my head. Then I can go in here and see. Okay, where is that going to fit? I need to email Janet. Maybe I'll email her first thing Wednesday morning. So just keeps me accountable and I can see this as a whole, so I don't let anything slip through the cracks.
