If you're going to create video content, you want to make sure you're getting the biggest bang for your buck, right? You want to make sure video is actually going to save you time in the long run. And you want to make sure you're actually going to get people who are watching your videos to convert to buy your course or be a client or even get on your email list. Right? That's what I'm talking about in today's video. I'm going to tell you how you can create videos that make people take action. Hi, my name is Trena and welcome to my channel Tips with Trena. Hey. Here on my channel, I help creative business owners like you get on YouTube to grow your business. One of the best ways to grow your business is to use video content here on YouTube. But how do you get somebody to take the next action after watching your video? Let's jump into that. The first thing you want to do is come up with your video ideas, right? And it's not just pulling out these ideas out of a random hat. You've got to be strategic about the video ideas that you're going to film. Start writing down all these ideas, researching what are people posting on social media that they have questions about, what email questions are you Getting? Check out YouTube search, see what people are creating videos on that are getting views. Look at Google Keyword Finder to see what has competition out there and what are people actually finding and start putting those videos on a list. Next, you got to determine what your schedule is going to be because if you want to see people convert on your videos, you, you've got to be consistent and you've got to show up here on YouTube. So decide. Are you going to do videos every Monday and Wednesday? Are you going to post every Thursday? What's going to be that consistent schedule so that people can trust that you're coming back for them. Then once you have the schedule down, you can start taking those groups of videos and start categorizing them into similar topics. So for me, last month I did on Tuesdays an entire series on launching and creating an online course. So my audience knew to come back every Tuesday for a video on creating an online course. And on Thursdays I did an entire series on how to make your YouTube channel better. So if they're interested in doing better on YouTube, they came back on Thursdays to watch those videos. Now I have two brand new playlists that I can promote here in my videos. So if you want to learn how to make your YouTube channel better, you can check out the playlist that's on your card right now. This also helps me be able to play plan out videos like five weeks in advance because I will sit down like I am right now and film 10 videos in one day. So two videos a week for five weeks, that's 10 videos that I'm filming right now. But since I already planned them in advance and I know what I'm talking about, it makes it a lot easier to get through the filming. But that leads into the next part. Start scripting your videos now. This is really important because you've really got to think about what your hook is going to be. That's the first thing in your video that's really got to be strong to make people want to watch. Because you're not going to convert people to actually do something if they're not going to watch your videos past the first five seconds. So think about a pain point. You can actually watch a video that I did on how to script your videos in the card listed right up above because that's going to walk you through the primary parts of scripting your videos to make sure people take action. Next, I want you to think about how you can change the scene in your videos or so as you're scripting out your videos. Is there a part where you can add B roll? Is there a part where you can add a screen grab or a photo or something that you can do? Now, B roll is additional footage. So I'll throw in some B roll right now of me showing what my post it wall looks like. That's just taking some footage, throwing it into your A roll, which is this footage right now, just to make people stay attentive. Right? We have such short attention spans these days, so. So you've got to change the scenery about every five to seven seconds here on YouTube. A really easy way to do this is in your editing. You can zoom in and zoom out. I have a tutorial on that. If you click the card on your video right now, I did a tutorial on how you can zoom in and make it look like you have two different videos, two different cameras filming. So you can check that out. But you got to think about some ways that you can spruce up your video editing to make people want to keep watching and keep their attention. And finally, you've got to have some strong call to actions. You'll notice throughout this video. I call you to take action on watching this video or checking the description box if you don't tell people what you want them to actually do, they're not going to take action. Tell them if you want them to sign up on your email list, tell them the link to sign up is down in the description box. Tell them to check out a certain playlist that you've linked on the video or down in the description box. You've got to have that strong, clear call to action if you want to actually get people to take action from your videos. Now, if you want to swipe my entire YouTube strategy blueprint, I'm hosting a free training for you next week all about how to craft a YouTube strategy. I'm also going to be talking about how to find your special niche, how to find those videos that's really going to get in front of your ideal audience, and how to finally use YouTube video to take your business to that next level. So I'm going to add the link to sign up for that down in the description box and in the card as well. You can, you can go over, learn some more about it or just sign up so I can start sending you all the information about this free training. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in the next video. Bye.
