If you're not subscribed to my channel, go ahead and click this button right here. Today, I wanted to share with you three tips that you can use to get started creating your first success YouTube channel. The first tip I have for you is to have a niche. This is really going to help you focus your content and really drive your audience to your channel. When you're first starting out, you really want to be focused on the content that you're providing because that's how you're going to get your community following you. Once you have a stronger community and you have a bigger following, then you can branch out and start focusing on other topics. But when you're just starting out, really hone in your niche and just focus your content on that specific topic. This is going to help you really become the authority in that specific industry and make you stand out. Tip number two is to brand your channel. The first thing that you're going to want to do is to upload a channel banner. This is just going to make you stand out. It's going to make you look more professional and make sure it's in line with the rest of your branding. Same colors, same fonts, everything along that line. You also want to make sure that you have a visually pleasing channel icon, because when people find you on search on YouTube, your icon's going to pop up and they want to see something visually pleasing. Otherwise they're not going to click on it. So it's kind of like your ad. The same goes for custom thumbnails. When you do upload a video, you want to make a custom thumbnail for every single one of your videos. It's going to need to be very visually pleasing because this is your ad. This is why people are going to click on your video. That thumbnail is essential to getting views to that video. You want to make sure that you're branding that thumbnail also. So when people are searching on YouTube and they see a thumbnail, they can really start to associate a certain style of thumbnail with your brand. Finally, tip number three is don't get worried with all the equipment. Start with what you have. Don't wait on creating a YouTube channel till you have that fancy DSLR camera or that fancy ring light, Go ahead and start with what you have. It's really your content that's going to matter on your channel. So set up your cell phone, sit in front of a window, use natural lighting. Just start with what you have and start getting that video content out there to really start building your following. A final little bonus tip that I have for you is to let your personality shine through. Let your little quirks shine through. Don't hide them. Don't try to be very robotic and professional and basically being someone you're not. People are going to relate to somebody that's much more human and personal. So let all those little quirks shine through and don't edit them out. And don't try to be a perfect person. So Those are my three tips on how you can start a successful YouTube channel today.
