Lauren from Grit and Glitter talks with Trena Little about staying motivated when things get hard as an entrepreneur. One-minute tip for people chasing dreams and hitting rough patches.
Hey guys, and welcome back to Just the Tips with Trena where I provide you a 1 minute business tip that you can take action on today. Since it's Wednesday, it's time for another guest. Today's guest is Lauren from Grit and Glitter. I found Lauren on Snapchat and we've instantly become close friends. She's here to talk to you about how to stay motivated as an entrepreneur and how to get through those hard, unpretty parts of chasing your dreams and lady hustling. So, Lauren, take it away.
Staying motivated as a boss, lady or entrepreneur is really tough. I get it. It's something that I struggle with every single day. But there is something I found that really helps. On those crappy days when you're feeling less than motivated and totally uninspired, the biggest, most helpful thing that you can do for yourself and for your business is to get clear on your why. Your why is that deep seated feeling in your gut or in your heart. It's that little voice that told you to start doing what you're doing in the first place. That is your why. It's the reason why you're here watching this video. And on the really hard days, it's really easy to lose sight of it. So the best thing you can do is write it down. Write it in the front of your planner, write it on a post it note, and put it on your desk. Set it as a reminder on your phone every single day. And on those really hard days when you're feeling less than motivated and totally uninspired, go back and read your why, the reason why you're doing exactly what you're doing.
Those are such great tips, Lauren. Thank you so much for sharing. I will link Lauren's podcast, blog and all of her social media links down in the description box below. So make sure you go check her out and follow her. Make sure you like this video if it's brightened your day and share it on social media because it might just reach somebody who's going through one of those crappy times. Don't forget to subscribe to this channel for new tips every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Thanks for watching. Bye. But as far as today's tasks, I plan to write blogs all day. Blog writing, blog writing, blog writing. I'm not a huge writer and it's a new process to me. I'm more of a video person. So if you're like me and you're hustling to do everything you can to make your business thrive and grow, you're probably experiencing these constant ups and downs on this wild, crazy journey that's entrepreneurship. I know I can't be alone and feeling this way.
