How To Transcribe Your Youtube Video

This is a YouTube video titled "How To Transcribe Your Youtube Video" created in August 2017. It features a single speaker providing a tutorial on how to transcribe YouTube videos using YouTube's subtitle tools and an external service called Rev.com, aimed at helping viewers improve their video search rankings and accessibility.
Did you know you can rank your videos higher in YouTube and Google search results if you transcribe them in today's video? I'm going to show you how to transcribe your YouTube videos and how you can make the process a lot quicker if you are short on time. Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Just the Tips. If you are new to my channel, make sure you just click that subscribe button down below because I'm posting new videos every single week to help you build a video strategy for your business. I would love to know if you're currently transcribing your YouTube videos. Maybe you don't even know you're transcribing your YouTube videos. Let me know down in the comments section below. If you think you're transcribing your videos but you aren't sure, but maybe you are, let me know. Now let me jump on over to my computer and show you exactly how to transcribe your YouTube videos to add subtitles or transcribe your video after you upload it. You're going to go over here to this tab where it says subtitles and closed caption. Now, as soon as you upload your video, sometimes YouTube doesn't populate the subtitles instantly. You may need to give it a couple hours for them to actually publish some automatic subtitles. So what happens is YouTube automatically transcribes your videos and publishes what they think you're saying. But what you need to do is go in here to the published version right here and you see everything you say is already listed out. But sometimes YouTube doesn't spell your name right or sometimes they get what you're saying wrong. So just go into edit and from here you can play your video and check your subtitles to see if everything's spelled right and it's actually written what you're saying. I know for every single video my name is always spelled wrong. So I'm going to go over here, I'm going to change my name to make sure it's spelled right and then just scan the rest of this video to make sure everything is correct. So then once you have those changes made, you want to go to save changes and now your new edits are are published. Say you upload a bunch of videos and you just want to get them all transcribed immediately. You don't want to have to review them on YouTube. You just want to hire somebody. A great place to go is Rev. If you go to Rev.com they will transcribe your videos for $1 per minute. Now, if your video is 6 minutes and 1 second, they're going to round that up to being $7. But this is a great company to deal with. I've used them quite a few times. They're very quick. They get you your transcriptions back within max two hours. So you can see here inside my account, I've had a couple different videos transcribed. What you can do is place a new order for transcriptions. Now, whether you're using this for course videos or your YouTube video, you can upload your entire video file or you can turn your video to unlisted and send them the video link. So all you do is you just paste the URL link and they will get to work on transcribing your videos. And that's really a quick way, whether you have a YouTube video or a course video or a Vimeo video that you want to have transcribed to get it done quickly. If you found this tutorial helpful, make sure you give this video a thumbs up, you share it on social media down below and you subscribe by clicking that circle subscriber button right there. Because I'm posting new videos every single week to help you here on YouTube. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next video. Bye.
