If You’re Relying on Instagram, You’re Already Falling Behind

A YouTube coaching-style presentation arguing that Instagram (and Facebook ads) no longer reliably drives discovery or sales for course creators and coaches because platform engagement and organic reach have collapsed. The speaker claims AI-powered search (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) now drives discovery and only indexes readable content (web pages, YouTube videos, transcripts), so creators whose content lives in ephemeral Instagram posts or untranscribed podcasts are effectively invisible. The video compares labor and lifespan math for Instagram vs YouTube content, offers three immediate actions (publish searchable YouTube content; transcribe/add captions; teach pain-point-driven topics), provides client case studies of YouTube-driven sales, and promotes a virtual summit and a five-video "playlist funnel" YouTube strategy to convert viewers into buyers.
You're not imagining it. Getting clients and selling your courses is hard. Right now. You're probably posting more, trying to show up in more places, but seeing few clients sign and few sales of your digital products and courses. And I'm here to say the thing that nobody is saying out loud. The way people are finding coaches and courses has changed. And. And if you don't make that pivot and adapt now, you will become invisible. Most course creators and coaches that I talk to, that I work with, my program, the YouTube coaching experience, are relying on the same methods that they have used for years. Instagram, DMS referrals, maybe even Facebook ads showing up consistently on Instagram, their podcast. And that all has worked before. But here's what's happening right now. Instagram engagement has basically collapsed. Let's just accept that fact. The median engagement on any kind of post that you create is less than half of a percent. Organic reach for Instagram accounts with less than 10,000 followers is 2 to 3%. Meaning most of your audience isn't even seeing your posts. And when we even look at reels, the golden child of Instagram, the reach of reels is seeing a sharp decline as well. So if you felt like you've been working harder and creating more content just to stay above water, to be seen, it's not you, it's that the platform that you have focused on to get your leads, your sales, has shifted. And Facebook ads aren't the safety net that they used to be. Costs are rising, targeting has weakened, and bigger brands and businesses can outspend a smaller businesses all day long. So that cycle will continue. More time, more money spent, fewer results, that is sales. This exact same thing happened around 2018, 2019 over on Etsy. Thousands of people with their Etsy shop were making sales every single day until Etsy changed its rules. Search rankings shifted, ads got prioritized, and those that didn't adapt to the new changes, their visibility basically vanished and their business dried up. Right now, that same shift is happening with Instagram and ads and also I would say referrals, because the rules of discovery have completely changed. And I don't say it to scare you, I say it to tell you you have time. Because if you don't make a change now, you will get buried. This is the biggest shift that we need to realize that is happening right now to cause all of these changes. And I don't think a lot of people are talking about this, but people aren't discovering or looking for coaches or courses on Instagram or Facebook. Anymore. They're ask AI. They're using tools like Chat GPT and Gemini and Perplexity to answer questions like who's the best coach for online courses? If I wanted to launch my first course and learn from the best person possible, who is that person? Who has the best evergreen system for selling courses on the daily? And the kicker about this new way people are searching, AI is not going to recommend based on Instagram posts or who's posting daily Reels. AI is recommending based on content it can read, categorize and verify. This means your Instagram stories out the door. Not helping you. I can't read them your reels. At best I can scrape the caption your podcast invisible unless you've transcribed it, put it in a blog and had it indexed. So if your content only lives in places that I cannot access, then to this whole new discovery system, you are completely invisible. You don't exist. Meanwhile, your competitor that's showing up on YouTube every week, taking that YouTube transcript, repurposing it into a blog post, are indexing their content. They do exist in this new system and AI will recommend them every single time. Listen, this isn't the future of AI. We've heard a lot of scary things about the future of AI but but this is happening right now. I have had multiple clients join me this year in the YouTube coaching experience telling me they found me through ChatGPT. I had a colleague of mine post on her Instagram stories the other day that somebody had jumped into her lead magnet, bought a course and then ultimately got to her highest level offer, applied to work with her at her highest level all within one day. And when she reached out to that person to ask, hey, how did you find me? She had found her on Chat GPT and even my coach that I work with has told us that she is seeing more and more people come through her course doors saying they found her course through ChatGPT. The shift is already here and you are smart. You are here. If you understand this early, you can dominate the next few years. Think about the golden age of Facebook ads or the golden age of Instagram. Right now is the Golden Age of ChatGPT and AI for you to get your business recommended by them. Now I don't want you to think, oh my gosh, this is so hard. What am I going to do? I'm so nervous. I want to leave you with some next action items or some things you can do right now so you can start future proofing today. Ready? Before I do, I want to let you Know if you're really serious about getting your business on YouTube and making sure your content is being indexed and findable by YouTube. I am hosting a virtual summit called the build your big reputation summit. And I want you to grab your ticket. Because what you're going to learn there is exactly how to start building your reputation on YouTube. There's two main reasons why you want to start doing this. Now I've already talked about one right getting AI to recommend you. But the other reason you need to be at the build your big reputation summit is because we're also going to be talking about how you need to show up as a human as you. Because as AI continues to grow, more people are going to be looking for human connection and YouTube video is the best way to build your human connection. So we're going to be talking about those two things in the one day three session. Build your big reputation Summit. You can grab your ticket right now@trina little.com forward slash summit. Now, before the summit starts, here's three things that you can do. Start planning and strategizing your content around searchable ideas that you're ready to buy viewer is looking for. I'm not talking about the beginners. I talk a lot about ready to buy viewers. In fact, I will link to a video here where I go into more detail. But you can't just create content like how I grew my business or how I grow my YouTube or how I grow my Instagram. AI has no context as to what that means and who that's for. It's very generic. But if you say how to build an online course business in 2025 or how to build an Instagram account that gets DMs from your dream clients, that's when I can better recognize you and better recommend you to the best person, the person that will want to buy and work with you. The second thing that you can start doing to future proof, start transcribing and adding closed captions on Instagram. Captions are generally an overthought. I do know there's a lot more going over on Instagram about it getting categorized or indexed by Google. So more and more people are using SEO based captions on Instagram, which is great, but we want to think about YouTube because I want my content to live for longer than a few hours. And so when you're creating videos here on YouTube, if you're creating videos on YouTube, your entire YouTube video is transcribed and that text is exactly what AI is pulling from. That's why your competitors YouTube videos are going to get recommended by AI while your Reels are going to get ignored. Plus, as I said, you can easily take those transcripts and repurpose them into blog posts with the help of AI. So now you have two indexed pieces of content for AI to find. The third thing you can start doing today to make sure AI recommends you over your competitors is to teach pain points, not just the process. So titles like How I Plan My Week, they aren't getting searched, but how to Plan My Week to Sell More courses Every day or how to Plan My Week to make Daily Sales, that hits both the pain how to Make Daily Sales and the searchable word how to Plan my week. You see how the difference is there between just how to plan my week? AI doesn't know really who to recommend that to, but when you get more specific, just like I Talk about on YouTube with your Ready to buy viewers. So when you're following the strategy I teach on YouTube, you are set up for success on AI. These three shifts alone make you visible and recommended by AI platforms. And it's going to make you discoverable by the exact clients that not only going to want to jump to work with you, but you're going to love working with as well. The bottom line is if you keep staying reliant on Instagram or Facebook or your podcast because it's feels comfortable, it's what you've been doing, your pipeline of clients and leads is going to dry up. And it's not because you're not good at what you do, but it's because you are slowly becoming invisible. But if you start creating AI friendly content like strategic YouTube videos, you're back in the game immediately. And you will be the expert that I will recommend and point to. I want you to understand if you feel like you're needing to work harder and create more, that's not the game you need to be playing. Especially as we look to 2026 and beyond. It's about creating the right content that works today and future. Proof your business for 2026 and beyond. Which leads me to the question you're probably thinking right now. If you start creating this content and you start creating YouTube videos and you start creating AI searchable content, how do you figure out who I will actually recommend? How can you nudge out your competitors over on AI? That's exactly what I'm breaking down right now. You're needing to post more content than ever before. You're needing to do reels, you're needing to do carousels, you're needing to do stories. You've got to chase trending audios just to stay afloat on Instagram to see some growth. The problem is the likes, the comments, the impressions on Instagram aren't turning into clients, aren't turning into sales. You're not getting dms about your course or your services. And deep down you're starting to wonder, is this going to work? Am I the problem? Maybe I'm just not cut out for this. I want you to hear me loud and clear right now. It is not you or your content. It is Instagram. The math doesn't add up when you look at, at the amount of effort you need to put into Instagram versus what you get back, the roi. And I'm going to prove it. Even though math isn't my specialty, I'm breaking it down for you today. I've got the whiteboard out. So you know I'm serious here because I don't do this for anybody. Let's start with how many weekly posts you're going to need to do on Instagram to grow. So the research they did says on average, you should be posting two feed posts a week, three to five reels a week, and three stories. So per week, let's add that up. So I'm gonna say seven posts. So we got two, we got five, six, seven. Let's say we're busy business owners. Let's say we don't get the three stories. So we're gonna say average seven pieces of content on Instagram per week. Now there's four weeks in a month, so we're gonna do seven times four to see how much monthly time we're needing to create Instagram content. Now we need to figure out how long it's gonna take us in one month to create 28 pieces of content. We need to think about idea, we need to think about scripting, editing, we need to think about graphic design, we need to think about captions, right? So I'm gonna go easy and say it's going to take me 30 minutes per piece of content. Now let me know in the chat if 30 minutes is your realistic schedule to create one piece of content or not. Or what's. How long does it take you to create one piece of Instagram content? Alright, so in a realistic, realistic average world, it's going to take you three and a half hours to create seven pieces of content, or 14 hours a month to create weekly Instagram content that is going to disappear after 24 hours. This is not a marketing plan. This is a hamster Wheel. This is why you feel burnt out and exhausted creating content. Because now when we take 14 hours is how long it takes us to create content. Let's see how long that content will live for us during that month. We are going to estimate that one piece of content lives about 24 hours. And we saw this graph right here that told us that it was more likely around 21 hours as the average lifespan for an Instagram piece of content. There's not a lot of math that's needed for this next step because again, 28 pieces of content, it's going to live for 28 hours because each piece of content lives for 24 hours. So you just put in 14 hours of work for 28 hours of livable content, of content lifespan. Now, I'm going to compare this to some YouTube math, but I need to tell you right now that YouTube is incredibly hot right now for your viewers and that your audience is on YouTube. In fact, this 2024 research from Pew shows us that the used platform in 2024 alone was YouTube by a long shot. And I'm telling you, this isn't teenage boys. This isn't influencers showing their day. This is people looking to have a problem solved. This is people spending hours of their day on YouTube. So we saw it takes us 14 hours to create 28 pieces of content that lives for 28 hours. So let's do YouTube. You literally only need to post one video a week. That's just four videos a month. And I'm going to estimate, again, I'm going to go easy here because maybe you've never created a YouTube video. But my clients, because they have my system, they have my schedule, they understand how to produce and create YouTube videos quickly because they get my system handed to them. I'm going to say it takes you around three hours to create just one YouTube video. And let's bump it up. Let's say a video takes a little bit longer, so let's bump it up to equal Instagram content. So four videos a month takes you 14 hours, the same amount of time you're spending on Instagram. But now we're looking at how long those videos live. And those videos live on average, nine days. Four videos, nine day lifespan. This means your four videos that took you 14 hours to create lives for 36 days compared to 28 days. This is why it feels like you're hustling harder to create more content to be seen by the same amount of people. Instagram is working against you. I'm sorry, the numbers they don't lie. Now before I tell you some more bad news about Instagram and that short form content that you're spending your hours on, if you're starting to see this math and you're realizing Maybe it is YouTube that you need to put those 14 hours of content creation into, but you want to understand the full strategy and you want to make sure you're doing it right from day one so you're not wasting your time because you're busy. I built the build your big reputation virtual summit inside. I will walk you through the exact system for using YouTube. YouTube to become the go to expert in your niche. Finally get daily sales, daily leads clients without burning out over all the social media content that you're needing to create right now. And how to do all of this while only needing to post one YouTube video a week. If you're ready to start creating evergreen content that compounds on itself instead of stuck on that 24 hour content hamster wheel over on Instagram, grab your ticket@trina little.com forward/rep. So I'm sorry folks, but the news gets a little bit worse right here and there are a few more layers why spending your hours on Instagram are wasting your time. First of all, it is proven that long form content converts higher than short form content. When you're thinking about short form content, what is the mindset that viewer is in? They're looking to be entertained, right? They're pulling up TikTok, they're pulling up reels and they're scrolling in that school pickup line at soccer practice, right? But when they sit down to watch long form content or go to search a problem to be solved, they're in a different mindset. They're in a problem solving mindset. And when they sit down to watch a longer video from you, it allows you to build more trust with them, create that relationship with them and show your expertise. So long form content will always out convert short form content. The other thing I've been talking about this the last few weeks on my YouTube channel is that short form content and Instagram content isn't really being indexed by AI platforms right now. But YouTube is not only searchable on YouTube, it is searchable on Google. And AI can index YouTube content. So when you focus on YouTube content, you can be found on all three of these search based platforms. The third thing we need to realize is in 2026 Meta is changing all of its ad policies and you're not going to be able to scroll specifically target people anymore with your ads, which means Even if you're paying, you may not be able to reach the people you want to reach. Where on YouTube you can do this for free. When you create the right content for the right person at the right time, that's the power that YouTube has. You can target these people without needing to pay for it. Now I want to walk through a quick case study. The other day, Katie Seckley posted a YouTube video sharing kind of her Instagram strategy. Now she has about 200,000 Instagram followers and she broke down how many reels, how many stories, how many posts that she does. I think she was posting daily and did a few Instagram posts and a few reels a week and she was able to reach a million people. But remember, she had 200,000 followers to start with. So let's look at some specific case studies on YouTube that I have had. I have a client who has not posted since February. She posted a few videos in January and February and she has a sales asset, like a library of sales assets on YouTube with, you know, close to 100 YouTube videos. And as I'm doing this video, it is now September, she hasn't posted at all. And in August alone she got 400 impressions on her YouTube videos, nearly 3,000 views and gained 50 subscribers without posting in six months. And let's look at another client who is posting. That's a smaller channel. She just started her YouTube channel five months ago. She now has 3,300 subscribers. Since the last five months. She posted four videos in August. She had over 24,700 views on her videos across her entire channel. Remember, your YouTube channel is a sales asset. Every video counts. She had 385 impressions that she didn't pay for that came from her YouTube content. 545 new subscribers, 40 sales in two high ticket clients paid to work with her coming from her content in August. That's the difference. Instagram content dies. YouTube content compounds. If you keep pouring your time into Instagram, taking you 14 hours to create 28 pieces of content that lives for 28 hours, you will stay stuck on that exhausting hamster wheel that I hear you all say. In fact, let me know, are you posting daily on Instagram? What does your Instagram posting schedule look like down in the comments? I'm curious. Posting nonstop on Instagram will not pay your bills. But if you put the same effort, the same 14 hours of time into YouTube content, you're building a sales engine, a sales asset that runs while you get to live your life. Take months off and have that Sales asset continue to work for you. That's the difference between chasing clients on Instagram and attracting them on YouTube. Don't worry. I do have some good news for you. You do not have to start coming up with content ideas from scratch if you want to take YouTube seriously. You already have old Instagram posts, reels, stories, podcasts, and you can YouTubeify them that way. All the work that you've done, it's not wasted. I'm going to break down how you can YouTubeify that content in this video right here. It feels like you're wasting your time creating content, because you are. If you aren't creating evergreen content, or if you're focused on content that is expiring after 24 hours Instagram content, you are simply wasting your time. But I'm here to share some good news. If you want to take all that content you spent so much time on that lived less than a day and is no longer working for you, and you want to YouTube ify it and turn it into evergreen content. Because you do not need to start from scratch when you decide you want to put your business in your content on YouTube, if you do it right. Because the content that you've already created can fuel your YouTube strategy. If you know how to YouTube ify it. And I'm going to tell you how I know. It can be a gut punch when somebody tells you all those Instagram posts, those stories, those reels that you've spent hours, probably hundreds of hours of your life on, don't reach any more people. But it's not all for waste. All right? You want to look at it as testing amazing YouTube video ideas. So what you're looking at, even if you have podcasts or you have Facebook lives, what are the pieces of content? The videos, the posts, the reels that got the most shares the most comments are the most likes. So we're looking for engagement on the these pieces of content. It's not necessarily the views we're looking for. We want to make sure people were actually engaging with this content to give us a signal that they enjoyed it. And now instead of these pieces of content dying in 24 hours, we're going to put them on a platform that can live for months and years. I know you can feel hesitant to jump into a brand new platform, to have to start over on a brand new platform, but the math doesn't lie. This right here is telling us that Instagram content lives less than 24 hours. And when you look at it, compared to YouTube content, YouTube content lives at least nine days. I have videos from four years ago, still growing, my email list to this day, still getting hundreds of views every single month to this day. I did all the math for you if you want to check it out. In this video right here, I broke down how many pieces of content you need to create every month on Instagram versus YouTube, how long it takes you, what the hours are, how long the life span is. So if you really want to see the math, if you really need the numbers to convince you that YouTube is the right move right now, definitely check that video out. So again, Instagram content shelf Life less than 24 hours. YouTube shelf life nine or more days. Plus YouTube is indexed not only by Google because Google owns YouTube, but AI can index YouTube content as well. So let's take all of your podcasts, your Instagram content, your Facebook, it wasn't all for naught. We are going to turn that into searchable, bingeable, future proof content on YouTube because we want to get found on ChatGPT. Because AI in general is the current major disruptor that is happening in the online space. And if you aren't changing the way you are doing things to please AI and how people are using AI to search things, you are going to get left behind. You are not going to get more sales, you are going to have a hard time getting clients if your content cannot be found through AI. ChatGPT already has over 1 billion users and as of June 2025 is the fifth most visited website in the world. So you have to realize you need to YouTube your content today if you are going to have content that is not invisible A year from now. If your content cannot be found by these AI platforms like ChatGPT, it may well not exist because you are invisible. There are probably a few things running through your mind right now and I want to address those before I give you actual case studies, real life data that this is working. I know you don't want to start from zero. You've put a lot of time, you put a lot of investment in your Instagram content. But the ecosystem for the online space has changed and you have to change. The good news about YouTube is you don't need many subscribers to get results. I have a client who freshly started her YouTube channel. She has less than 200 subscribers. Her first five videos got anywhere between 50 views to 100 views per video. And within five videos she made $42,000 off of those five videos. Selling her low ticket offers and her coaching program. You do not need to worry about starting from Zero. Starting from zero does not affect your reach, does not affect how the algorithm puts you in front of people. Okay, you can start from zero and see results within a few videos. When you do YouTube, right, you're probably now thinking, trina, all this content that I've done, I've said it, people are going to be annoyed that I'm saying it again. I hate to break it to you, but nobody's listening that closely or paying that much attention to you. I have personally repeated the video, how to script your YouTube video in some way or form, at least, at least 16 times on my YouTube channel in the last 10 years. In fact, I sell an entire course and template on how to write your script and it sells every single day. And those 16 videos get views every single day. And when I publish a new video with that same topic, it still gets views. You need to keep re saying the same things over and over for your audience to get it, to understand it, to say, that's what I need. Now you're probably thinking, okay, but how do I take like an Instagram caption or a 40 second reel and turn it into a 20 minute long YouTube video? Trina. Well, first I need to address you don't need fancy equipment and you don't need fancy editing. So we want to get that off the table. Because as a business owner, you're not creating content for the ADHD teenage boys online. So you don't need to have jump cuts every six seconds and things flying in and Ferraris and Lamborghinis on your videos. You're creating content that helps your potential customer, your potential client see how their problem can be solved. Doing it the way you do it, doing it with your framework. So what you're going to do is take that content, take that video, take that reel, that carousel that did well, and how can you go just a little bit deeper on that topic? There is a very particular framework of how you're scripting YouTube videos with a hook and the content and then the call to action. But you'll start to see when you take that piece of content and you just dig a little bit deeper, potentially show examples or case studies how you could turn a post into a five, eight, maybe even ten minute video. And that's all you really need. You're not creating TED talks here on a YouTube channel. I want you to understand that the real waste isn't repurposing this content that you put so much time into. The waste is continuing to put time and effort on a platform that buries your Content in a day. Every time you post on Instagram, a timer starts. 19 to 24 hours later, that post is done. But on a YouTube channel, that video becomes a sales asset. I can find it, Google can recommend it, clients can binge it for months, even years later. And again, the best part about YouTube is it compounds. So every time you create a new sales asset for your business, a new YouTube video, that new YouTube video sends more traffic and more views and more people to past videos. This is compounding on top of each other day after day after day. Whereas Instagram, as I've said plenty of times, it just kind of dies. I know again, it is hard to convince you of this. So I have actual proof of how much of a value, how much of a sales asset that YouTube can be for your business. But before I show you these real life proof case studies, one that literally just started five months ago and has been able to get great sales from her channel. If this is all really hitting you right now, this realization is coming into play and you're tired of wasting time on Instagram. You're tired of being on this constant content creation hamster wheel. Then I want to invite you to my virtual conference called the build your big reputation. Over three sessions, I'm going to walk you through the exact system for future proofing your content and Your Business on YouTube. You'll learn how to finally get off that hamster wheel that you are burnt out on. You'll learn how to get seen as the go to expert on YouTube, Google and from AI. And you'll be able to build a reputation, a big reputation that brings you daily leads, daily sales with just one YouTube video a week. Get your ticket at trina little.com forward/rep I am proof that chat, GPT and AI platforms are currently an asset to me. I have seen on my website not only chat and perplexity being an increasingly higher platform recommendation. So it's sending people to my website. But I have been getting hundreds of views from chat GPT. This is why I love it, because chat will recommend YouTube videos. But let's dig into some particular stories that I think are going to resonate with you. So if you're tired of creating content every day and you would like to take a break from creating content, let me know in the chat. Say take a break because one of my clients stopped posting on February. She stopped posting YouTube videos on February. She has over 100 YouTube videos as sales assets. She hasn't posted, as I said, since February. And at the time of this recording in the beginning of September. So that's March, April, May, June, July, August, six months without posting anything. She had 52,000 views on her channel and grew over a thousand subscribers on YouTube and made a thousand dollars from YouTube and she's not even posting content. If you didn't post on Instagram in six months, you wouldn't exist on Instagram anymore. They just would not recommend your content anymore, let alone make you any money. Now let's talk about a client who just started five months ago and she's been pretty consistent posting one video a week. In fact, she skipped a week or two. So she's even skipped a week or two. And in August alone she had over 24,000 views on her channel, grew over 540 subscribers, which is all great, but show me the money, right? I want to be making money. So I asked her how August was going for her. Remember, August is a pretty slow month for online business owners. But she told me I had 40 total sales. YouTube has driven me multiple sales per day and I would estimate that YouTube has made me over a thousand dollars. Not only that, she then followed it up with, oh, I also just booked two high ticket clients the other day who signed up, who applied to my high ticket program in, in August from a YouTube video. She started from scratch just five months ago with zero subscribers. That is how YouTube can be so important to your business, how it becomes a sales asset for you. This is what happens when you stop letting your content die after just one day and you start creating and letting it live on platforms that people are actually searching to have their problem solved. And I need you to understand why this is so important right now, today, as you're watching this, AI is already deciding who gets seen, who gets recommended. And if your content cannot be read by AI or indexed by by AI like Instagram, like Facebook, like podcasts, unless you're turning them into blog posts, AI is not going to choose you to recommend to people who are asking for help in your niche. So I want to show you exactly why your competitors are getting selected over you in AI and what you can do to outpace outrank your competitors in AI. And breaking it all down in this video right here, the biggest disruption in 15 years for online businesses like course creators, coaches, service providers, digital product shop owners is happening right now. So for the last 15 years, the baseline for being found online hasn't really changed much. There's the website, blogging, social media, email and ads. Now for sure, social media platforms came and gone, but overall the category remained Website, blog, social media, email list and ads. The entire ecosystem that was has changed because of AI. Now when people want recommendation or answers or help, they're asking ChatGPT Perplexity Gemini. They're not scrolling Instagram for answers to their problems. And you can see this disruption happening in real time when you look at how fast AI and ChatGPT in particular is growing. Chat searches have not yet surpassed Google searches, but traffic from AI searches are expected to surpass Google searches or organic searches by 2028. And in fact, in the first five months of 2025, Chat GPT weekly users grew from about 400 million per week to now 800 million users per week on Chat GPT. And it is absolutely on track to hit 1 billion weekly users by the end of 2025. That's just six months from now. You need to be future proofing your business for this disruption, for this change. But the problem most business owners have with this change, AI can only recommend content that it can read and index. Instagram post stories reels invisible. Absolutely the captions are available, but the majority of the work you're putting into your Instagram content, invisible YouTube videos fully visible and indexable. So let me show you some real life proof. When you type in certain questions or recommendations in ChatGPT, my clients show up for their niche first. I have the question, can you recommend someone who can help me start living more frugal? The very first recommendation is my client Hope and her entire content Library is on YouTube. Then I typed in who should I learn from if I'm looking to learn how to write my website copy? Guess who's number one? Another client of mine, Ashlyn Wrights. Bam. This one's really cool because ChatGPT actually links to my clients membership. So I typed in I'm looking for a yoga membership that specializes in yoga for scoliosis. Right there we see best yoga membership for scoliosis shine by move with scoliosis. That is my client Christine. And when you click on the link right there, it goes directly to her sales page for her membership. And I'm not stopping there. I've got another one just to prove to you how important it is that you're thinking about AI now so you can get in the forefront of this disruption. I'm looking to start a keto diet, but I'm in my 40s and I want to learn from someone who gets me. Who do you recommend to learn from? The very first person is Evelyn, the keto lady. She is a client of mine. Again she has content on YouTube that is readable by AI. These are real coaches, these are real membership owners. These are people that have digital products to buy online in Chat GPT is doing the recommending for them because they have content that AI can actually read. And I'm going to show you. Not only is my website getting more searches from ChatGPT and Perplexity, but so is my YouTube channel. I have seen views coming from Chat GPT Perplexity rise and I'm getting hundreds of views directly from Chat GPT. So this is amazing because not only is Google recommending your YouTube videos, but now chat and AI sources are going to recommend your YouTube videos as well. In fact, when I'm totaling up all the traffic I get on my website, I'm getting more traffic from organic YouTube and chat than I am from meta ads that I'm actually paying for. I need you to understand loud and clear this isn't something that's happening five years from now. It is already happening and AI is already recommending your competitors. If you aren't taking YouTube seriously and every single month you say I'm gonna start YouTube next month or I'm gonna start YouTube next quarter, you are going to fall further behind and it's going to be harder for you to beat out your competitors with the AI recommendation because AI is going to continue trusting the people that they are already recommending. Let me know in the chat, have you chatgpt or Perplexity or Google Gemini, your niche and are you coming up, Let me know in the chat, yes or no, if you are being recommended by AI yet and if you're not showing up, it's because your content cannot be read by AI. You are not going to be recommended on the platform that people are increasingly going to to get recommendations to be told who to learn from, to be told who to buy from. And chat GPT says directly on its OpenAI website, its foundation models source information publicly available on the Internet. As I said earlier, your stories, your reels that you're spending time fancy editing. Unless you've got banger captions, ChatGPT is not going to recommend any of that Instagram content. When people are searching for your niche for the problem that your course solves, even your Facebook lives will not be on there. In fact, if you are not adding show notes or transcripts or blogs for your podcast, your podcast will not be recommended on AI either. YouTube AI can source. It can source the description box content, the title, the metadata and even the transcripts of your videos. If you're putting them into a blog post. I think it's really important right now to explain that getting on YouTube isn't just about putting whatever content, ideas or random ideas that you have on YouTube. AI in the YouTube algorithm prioritizes content that builds authority and relevance over time. Meaning you need to get people watching your videos and watching these videos until the end and accumulating watch time minutes. So just posting shorts and 60 second videos is not going to help you in AI either. That's why in the next video I'm going to show you how I create what I call my playlist funnel Strategy here on YouTube. Because it's a series of bingeable strategic videos that are stacked together with the goal of keeping people watching and positioning you as the obvious expert that AI would recommend. Because that's exactly how you become the one that AI chooses to recommend to people. Now, if you're realizing right now, oh crap, all that Instagram content that I've been doing isn't really future proofing my business and you're starting to get a little nervous about losing your visibility to your competitors. You have got to join me for my virtual summit, the build your big reputation virtual conference. Over three sessions, I'm going to share with you the way you'll future proof your content on YouTube so that AI will recommend you how you can build authority on YouTube without creating endless new content. Think one video a week is all you need. And then specifically how to turn those videos that visibility into daily sales using my playlist funnel system. YouTube doesn't need to be overwhelming, it doesn't need to be complicated, and it does not need to consume your life like other social platforms. If you're ready to stop being invisible by AI and start being the expert that AI is going to recommend, grab your ticket at treanalittle.com/forward/rep. What is this YouTube playlist funnel strategy that I'm talking about? Well, I'm going to go into specifics and give you an example of how I would build a playlist funnel for a brand new person on YouTube. Right now, random one off video ideas that you post here on YouTube are not going to turn viewers into clients or sales, but a system does. In the next 10 minutes, I'm going to show you my five video YouTube playlist funnel that I use to make daily sales from my videos without needing to post every day. In fact, I only post one video a week and then I'll show you how you can build your playlist funnel. Now, if you've watched the last couple of videos that I've done here on my channel. This is basically the capstone of everything we've covered so far where we've been discussing how to take the content that you're creating for your business future, proof it with the rise of AI and make sure that your content isn't constantly expiring and you're creating evergreen content so you're not burnt out anymore. As I said, I want to show you what the job of each video in a playlist funnel is. And then I need to share you some three non negotiables most people will miss when they think they can create their playlist funnel. And then I'm going to show you where most people break their funnel so that you don't. This system works. I have client after client sending me results. Like Bell, who after she published her first five video playlist funnel, she had made $42,000. I had Gina, who also posted her playlist funnel and has grown her channel 3, 300 subscribers in five months. But more importantly is making daily sales and is booking high end clients straight from her YouTube videos. And like Alexis, who after implementing the playlist funnel on her YouTube channel, is getting sales every single week, was able to take the entire summer off and still make $2,000 in July and August. And she accredits all of those sales from YouTube. So let's go to my whiteboard. You know we're getting serious when I pull out the whiteboard and walk you through these five videos. Now I want to break down what this visually looks like. The playlist funnel. So the name says it all. It is a funnel very much like you see in digital marketing. Right. But at each level there is a video with a specific person. Okay. The ideal for video one is you need to reframe their way of thinking. So what they think they need to do is probably not working, which is why they're on YouTube looking for a solution. So you need to reframe the way they think their problem is to how you are going to solve their problem. You don't even need to teach like solid value here. This one is just a mindset and that's what's going to get them in this funnel. Now this is why this funnel is is so important. Because as they watch video one, you need to get them to watch video two. So you need to be preparing this entire funnel at once. So when you're scripting video one, you know what the next video is that you're going to pitch them. And the whole idea of this process is Binge ability. And why we want binge ability is because YouTube will love you, and YouTube will push your content to more people. If you can get people to sit down and watch two, three, four of your videos, YouTube is going to recommend you to more people. But this also gets people more likely to buy from you because again, if they can watch more content from you, if they spend more hours with you, the probability that they will convert to working or buying from you goes up. So after they watch video one, you need to prepare and anticipate what is the next, next objection that they are going to have so that you can jump right in at the end of video one and tell them why they now need to watch video two. And video two is going to be just a quick win. This is just going to be one actionable step that really reduces their effort. This gives them trust in you. This shows them your authority. It doesn't need to be a TED Talk here. It just needs to give them one step forward to see that, oh, she knows what she's talking about, and that was very helpful. I trust her. At the end of video two, remember, we're anticipating what objections are going to come up. And honestly, the best topic for video three is addressing common mistakes. Nobody wants to make mistakes. They know mistakes is going to cost them time and may make them look like an amateur. So when you can tee up video three in video two, letting your viewer know, hey, there are some mistakes that happen. I want to make sure that you don't do those. So in my next video, here are the common mistakes that you can avoid. To speed up the solution that they want, then we move on to video four. And by video four, right. We're deep in the funnel. Okay, we're getting more nuanced. We're getting very specific here. If this person has watched video 1 through 3, they're pretty bought in. They're just on the fence. So some of the best topics that you can do for video 4 are videos that are going to tie in case studies or shows proof. All right, this may be an advanced tactic that you want to show them and is why these people got results. Because people, again, they need to know you. You can do what you're saying. Trust is low online. And if we can show results or we can show proof or show case studies, this is what's going to tip them over the end. All right, Tip them over the end, Tip them over the scale, Tip them over the fence. So again, we're flowing through this sequence and every video is sending them to the next, sending them to the next and the next. And my board goes down because we're creating that binge session. So they finally get to this last video, which is like your capstone video. This is where you're going to introduce your blueprint, your framework, your way of doing things. Now, you're not going to tell them how to do that. You're going to give them the tip of the iceberg version, right? You want to get them bought in to how you do it. And at the end of that video is where you pitch your offer. Now, I personally will always pitch my YouTube coaching experience because all roads in my business lead to the coaching experience. That is my one main offer that I focus on, that I sell. And so all roads will lead to speaking about my framework, my blueprint inside of the YouTube coaching experience. This isn't a sales video. You're still providing information, right? You're sharing to them this idea of this framework, this ip, this specialized blueprint that you've created that nobody else has. And because if they've watched all these videos, they know that's what they want to learn and you are who they want to learn from. Now, can somebody pop into video three and go the whole way down? For sure. They don't need one and two. Could somebody pop into video five and instantly buy. For sure. It's happened to me. Could somebody watch video one and then look in your description box for more information and buy from you? Absolutely. But this is foolproofing your YouTube content so that you're doing everything you need to get the viewer to trust you, to build a relationship with you, to get them to binge watch. And you're also doing everything that you need to, to get YouTube to recommend you to more people. This is playing by the algorithm games and this will get you pushed to more people for free. Now, I know that looks exciting and you're like, okay, I need to do this, but I need to explain to you three things that you need to know about posting on YouTube and particularly in this playlist funnel strategy. The first thing that you need to realize is packaging your video is one of the most important things. So you need to be very niche and specific on these videos. You aren't trying to reach a broad audience because, because a broad audience isn't going to buy. You want to zone in and market directly to a ready to buy viewer. So you need to be focusing on specifically course creators or specifically new moms, or specifically women over the age of 40. You need to get very specific because when you are in that title in the thumbnail, YouTube better understands who to put this in front of. And when that person sees that video, they're going to say, she made this for me. So you need to understand the packaging of the title in the thumbnail when it comes to YouTube videos. That's why I review all of my clients titles and thumbnails before they even script their content. Because if we can't come up with a good marketing package for the title and the thumbnail, the video will flop. So that's really important for my clients to make sure the time they're putting into the videos actually pays off. So I review their titles and thumbnail else. The second non negotiable is the first 20 seconds of your video. You cannot waste time in the beginning of your video. You cannot introduce yourself, you cannot make a fancy logo and music like maybe you do in your podcast that is going to cause people to leave immediately. Your first 20 seconds is your hook and it has got to tie into the title and thumbnail. Again, why I get my clients to write their titles and thumbnails first because. Because it has to continue the story. That hook has to continue the story. And you've got to get to information of value, what they want from that video in less than 20 seconds or they are out. And your audience retention matters. Because if you can get people to click on your video and they don't watch longer than 10 seconds, it doesn't matter. YouTube is burying your videos. The third thing is your calls to action. Your transition from video to video is the strategy. So you heard me mentioning teeing up that next video. You also need to make sure you're not throwing too many calls to action. You also need to make sure that you're very clear and what you want them to do and why that video is going to be the next best thing that they need to do. Otherwise the whole purpose of the playlist funnel breaks down. And this is where business owners start to break their funnel because they start looking at their YouTube content as YouTubers. And that's not what we are there for. We are not there to get the most amount of views. We are there to get the right viewer, the one that is going to buy from us so that YouTube will put our video in front of more of those people. Because if people that are watching your video are buying, YouTube's going to look at those people and find similar people on YouTube which are more of your buyers. Business owners also treat YouTube like a one off idea. So you get an idea or you have a list of ideas and you just start picking ideas and creating them. There is no sequence here. There is no next step. So the viewer may go watch somebody else's video and buy or the viewer may just leave and do something else. You have to have that sequence in mind before you even shoot one YouTube video. I mentioned this a little bit earlier too, but having too many calls to action. If you're telling people to go to your webinar and get your free lead magnet and like subscribe and comment, nothing is going to happen in that video. They are not going to take any action at all. Another thing is over teaching. Like I said, we do not need to create TED Talks on YouTube. Your video serves one main outcome. Again, this is what I teach my clients in the YouTube coaching experience. I make them fill out my video game plan structure and that structure says what is the main, main outcome, the one outcome of this video so that we make sure it stays on task. We don't need to give away all of our content, all of our information for free. We need to be making belief shifts. We need to be highlighting transformations that they want to have. It doesn't need to be the actual how to. I think it's going to be helpful if I show you like a real life breakdown of a playlist funnel. Let's do a real life example. All right? Because I feel like if you see this in real life, maybe you can see how this starts to work for you and let me know in the chat. Is this making sense? Is this getting you excited? Go ahead and comment Playlist below. If you're like, I need this in my life right now. So the example I'm going to do is a health coach who specializes in women around the age of 40. I know that niche, so it's easy for me to talk about. But also women in the age of 40, what they've done before usually isn't working anymore and they're getting frustrated. They're also probably busier because kids are now in sports and running around and so they're looking to have a problem solved. Most of the time the problem they're looking at is how to stop feeling exhausted and get my energy back again. So that's the main problem that we're going to solve in this playlist funnel. Alright, so the playlist funnel title is going to be something like that. And then we need to go through each video to deliver on that promise. So the first video is the why. In this example, we're probably going to need to Create a video like why your workout's no longer working when you hit 40 or why at 40 your workouts don't lose weight anymore or your workouts aren't working right. Because at this stage, different exercises don't work like they used to. Maybe you know, there's some knee pain. And so things are starting to change now. The goal of this video is to meet them where they're at and be like, look, I know you're working at this and I know it doesn't feel like it used to feel anymore. Here's why. So that viewer immediately is like, oh, I see why that isn't working anymore. You need to tee up. What is that next video going to be? It's got to be a quick win. So their workouts aren't working anymore. And so the next video may be the one habit to start feeling energy again. So we told them why it's not working and now we're going to give them a quick win. Maybe it's a supplement that they need to take. Maybe it's more water that they need to take. Maybe it's sauna. Whatever it is for that particular coach, you're going to introduce them to that new whim again, you're teeing up the next video, which is a mistake. So this video is probably going to be something like three mistakes you don't know you're doing, keeping you plateaued. Or three mistakes you don't know you're doing, sucking your energy, right? We are focusing on getting them to watch each video, getting them to nod their head as they go from video one. We want them to binge watch video two. Maybe they heard you talk in video one and they're like, this girl's for me, I need to learn more about her. And they buy. If not, we need to get them to watch that next video, right? And if people watch this video, watch this video, YouTube is going to send this video to even more people like the people that are watching. Alright, so let's move on to video four. Okay, I know my handwriting is getting a little bit messy, but this video is that case study, that testimonial. So the idea here is this client lost 10 pounds changing one thing, right? That's going to show people you actually work with clients is going to show them a case study is going to show them you actually know what they're talking about. They have now trusted you, okay? She has proof that this has actually happened. So then we need to get them to move on to that fifth and final video. If they've not already bought. This is where you're going to show your framework. So the 90 day plan for weight loss after 40. That's something I didn't quite mention yet. Here is why each one of these videos need to be titled. Specifically, these are not the titles that I would use in this example. I'm giving you the idea, but we want to point out the framework that you do or the system that you do. You're not going to give them every little.
