Rachel - Youtube Bootcamp Testimonial

Rachel Moffatt, a blogger and business owner, shares how Trina Little's YouTube Bootcamp taught her to develop a video strategy, optimize for the platform, and gain confidence creating content. She credits the course structure and community support for her progress.
Hey, everyone. I'm Rachel Moffatt, a blogger and business owner and a student of Trina Little's YouTube Bootcamp. Before I started taking Trina's YouTube Bootcamp, I was really in a great place with my business. I was bringing in clients and customers and consistently building my email list, but I still felt like something was missing. It had been a few months since I had rebranded my business at the time of taking her course, and I just felt like there was a lack of a true connection between me and my audience. I felt like my audience didn't really have the opportunity to get to know me as the person behind the brand just from my written blog content. So I wanted to find a way to change that. Having casually run a YouTube channel for a business in a different industry a few years ago, I knew the power that video could have in helping a brand to truly connect with their audience. I knew it was really the best way to build that know like and trust factor and help start forming a genuine relationship with your ideal readers. And that's exactly what I wanted to create for my brand. So when Trina's course came about, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity. Opportunity to learn how to effectively use YouTube as part of my business strategy. When I found Trena's YouTube bootcamp, the main problem I was trying to solve was really how I was going to incorporate video into my content strategy. I knew I wanted to create video, but I couldn't figure out how I was going to balance that with all the content I was already creating. I was already writing written blog posts, an email newsletter, creating social media content, and I felt kind of clueless about how I was going to fit video into all that. I knew I wanted to have video, but I just didn't know how to make it work cohesively without essentially burning myself out with creating too much content or really overloading my audience or becoming too redundant by creating just so much stuff online. And through this course, I was able to learn how to create an effective YouTube strategy. And it really taught me how to figure out which topics are best suited for video, which ones are best suited for my blog, and which ones are best suited for my email newsletters. With Trena's advice, I've been able to create a content strategy that I know is going to be effective for my business. And it shows me exactly how I'm going to balance my written blog posts with my video content and all the other content formats I currently have on my plate. Whenever you're purchasing an online course, there are Often going to be some sort of hesitations that come up for you. And for me, I was worried if I was really cut out for video. But a lot of people get concerned about video content because they feel like maybe they're not cut out to be in front of the camera. They worry that they don't have the perfect, perfect space for filming videos. And those things are just excuses. With this course, I've learned that everyone can do video content as long as they're truly passionate about it. And thanks to the lessons that Trina has come up with, I've developed a content strategy that I'm actually excited about. And it makes me feel a lot more confident whenever I sit down in front of the camera to record a new video. After working with Trena, I no longer stress about video content because I've been able to create a content strategy that helps me balance video with the other content formats that I already have on my plate. And that's all thanks to the lessons that Trina has included in this course. Not only that, but I've also learned how to optimize my videos to ensure that they're ranking high on YouTube. And that way I stand a better chance of getting even more views on every video I publish there. And that's something I didn't know even existed before I knew about optimizing blog posts, but I had no idea that that was even a thing for YouTube. So to have that knowledge and to be able to optimize videos now in a way that's gonna help me get results for that makes all the difference in the world. Besides just learning how to create an effective YouTube strategy, I also just feel a lot more excited to sit down in front of the camera because I know how to record a video that is really going to help me see results on YouTube and really help me to grow my business in the long run. The specific feature that I love the most about YouTube boot camp was, hands down, the weekly calls with other students. And with Trena, it really is a great opportunity to not only ask Trina questions and get to hear her feedback, but also to hear from other students and hear what they're struggling with and what they're working on. And being able to share ideas and tips and tricks with each other really makes all the difference. And it helps you feel like you're not alone in this journey. You have other students that are working on the same exact lessons right alongside you, so you can always turn to them in the weekly calls or in the private Facebook group and also turn to Trina as well. There are also three other benefits I experienced from being in Trina's YouTube boot camp. I loved being able to hear from and connect with other students taking the course in the private Facebook group. So not only is Trina available for you to ask questions throughout the entirety of the course, but you also have other students who are taking the course alongside you and they're there to offer their feedback and support as well, which is amazing. Having a supportive community by your side when you're taking any kind of online course really is beneficial in holding you accountable and making sure that you are doing your absolute best. This course has guided me through the step by step of not just setting up my YouTube channel and learning all the back end things of YouTube, but also how to create a video content strategy and how to optimize my videos for maximum results. The really great thing about this course is that everything you need to know about YouTube is in one place. You don't have to look to other sources. Trena has all of the information that you need to know about setting up a YouTube channel and growing it to make sure it's a success. The way Trina has set up and organized this course really makes all the difference. She has everything set up so perfectly from week one all the way through the final weeks. She put together some amazing videos for you to watch, to learn all of the lessons, and she's also included some workbooks that I loved having on hand as well. The workbooks are really great because it helps you not just take that advice that you heard in the video, but it encourages you to put it into action right then and there. And you're also going to love the support you receive from the weekly group calls and the primary Facebook group from fellow youtubers who are there to support and guide you along the way. Plus, having Trina's support really makes so much difference. She's always there and available for you to ask questions, voice any concerns or struggles you're dealing with, and to get her feedback.
