Simple ways I repurpose my YouTube videos into emails

This is a YouTube video titled "Simple ways I repurpose my YouTube videos into emails" created in September 2024. The content features a single speaker, likely Trina Little, sharing strategies for business owners on how to efficiently repurpose YouTube video content into email marketing campaigns. The speaker discusses tools like Otter AI and ChatGPT, promotes an upcoming Evergreen and Evermore conference, and answers audience questions about content creation and email list building. The video is instructional and promotional in nature, focusing on simplifying content creation and marketing for business owners.
This is day three of my Simplicity series or YouTube Simplified series. Monday on day one, I talked about three easy ways to make money on YouTube, even if you're just getting started, so you can check that out. And then on Tuesday, yesterday, I talked about easy ways to help you create YouTube content, then easy ways to come up with video ideas that you know your audience is searching for. And today is all about how to repurpose your videos into emails, because I want to make content creation easy for you. As business owners, we have so many different things that we're juggling, from content here on YouTube to maybe Instagram to our email list. Right? And when you focus on YouTube, you can really simplify your other pieces of content. Okay, so I wanted to today walk you through, like I said, how I repurpose my YouTube videos into emails. So go ahead and type in the chat if you're sending weekly emails. Go ahead and say yes if you are or no if you're not. So I have an idea of how consistent you are with your email list. What we need to understand is our email list is our biggest app asset in our business, and it is the easiest way to get in front of our audience. Now, YouTube is my number one platform, right? But sometimes my audience isn't getting notified when I publish a video, or sometimes they don't see it because if their kid gets on their YouTube and they're watching Preston Plays or Hope Scopes, like my kids, the content that I'm then shown on my homepage isn't necessarily what I was watching, but what they were watching. So when you have an email list, you're able to get in their inbox. Right. And so being able to email your list every single week is very important. It builds that trust, it builds that repetition. So when you want to sell to them or you have something to sell, it's more likely to work. All right, so I see that Hope is multipurposing. Kim? Sure is. Not yet. And 10Ks in a garage. No, not yet. I see knitting and things. No. Okay, so we got a mixed bag here. How many of you are creating weekly YouTube content? Say yes or no in the chat. Because if I can get you to create weekly YouTube content, I can get you to start sending weekly emails. Okay, so I'm going to go ahead again if you are on Instagram, because I'm streaming to both platforms. If you are on Instagram, I'm not going to be able to show you the screen. I'm not a tech guru. It's a big enough leap for me to go live this amount of times in one week. And so if you want to see what I'm doing, you will have to jump over to my YouTube channel and watch me live over there, because I am going to share my screen on YouTube. Okay. So one of the first things that I do to repurpose my Instagram content is I will get my video transcribed. Okay. So there's a couple different ways that you can do that. I have a subscription to Otter A O and it just. The reason I have it is it transcribes all my calls with my clients and then just gives me a summary super easily. So that's why I like that. And then I can send these videos to Otter IO and get it transcribed. So when I have it transcribed, I will go ahead and copy this whole thing. So we're going to go ahead, scroll down if it YouTube. Cool, cool, cool. It's going to give me a minute. Those of you that are creating weekly YouTube videos, what is your biggest struggle with creating those weekly YouTube videos? Because I really, my goal is to help you all get make YouTube simple. That's the whole purpose of the series, right? Make YouTube simple. So go ahead and share with me. Kind of what gets you tripped up when it comes to YouTube content and share in the chat. So once I've got this copied, I'm going to go to my favorite AI tool, Chat gtp. And honestly, you won't believe what Chat GTP can do for you. You can see all the different things that I've done in the last 7 days. I had chat GTP create my meal plan for this week, tell me what dinners to make, what's my grocery list. I've had Chat GT make me a workout plan. So you can use Chat GTP for a lot of things, but you're going to get out of it what you put in. So the more information you give it, the better results you're going to get. So I take this email, I go ahead and plug it in here, and then I'm going to say, can you turn this transcript of my video into a email summary of why they should watch this video, make the email informal, and write it in a way that increases the likelihood they will go watch the video. Okay, that's all I typed in there. I'm going to hit enter. We're going to let Chat GTP do its thing. So it's telling me the subject line is why you need to watch this before 2025 hits, which I think that's a pretty good subject. Line. And those of you that are on Instagram, I will read the email I came up with. It's just three paragraphs. It says I'm just going to be real with you. Selling courses, coaching and digital products isn't what it used to be. They the game has changed and if you're still following what gurus are saying in 2018, you're going to be stuck. Buyers are smarter and they aren't throwing their money at any just any coach or product anymore. They've been burned, they're vetting longer, which means you need to be showing up in a way that builds serious trust. Like this email is really good. And so now what you can do is put this into your email. It tells you exactly where to insert your link. You could also put the image of your thumbnail right below that insert link and and now you have a weekly email. Boom. I've also gone back to older videos as well, plugged it here in the chat GTP to help me come up with launch content, promo content. If you checked out the Evergreen and evermore conference site treeandlittle.net forward/evergreen. If you haven't got your ticket yet, ChatGPT helped me write that. Now I gave it a lot of information, okay, tons of information. But when you focus your content on YouTube, you are able to create better repurposed content on other platforms because YouTube is going to be the longest living piece of content. So we want to make sure that you are focusing your most efforts on the longest living piece of platform and then putting in on other platforms. I'm going to be talking more about what this means, especially AI, what this means for YouTube in 2025 and beyond during my Evergreen and Evermore conference, which is a week from, well, a week from yesterday. It is next Tuesday the 24th. You gotta make sure you are here because there are a lot of things that AI is changing in 2025 for YouTube, for course creators, for niches in general that I'm going to talk about what that means for us as business owners and how we can adjust and and keep our businesses running and keep our content rising to the top over AI content. So do make sure that you are at this conference. It is trina little.com trina little.net forward/evergreen. It is a $9 ticket. It's going to last from 11am until about 3pm Eastern. You are going to get seven days worth of the replay. So the replays are going to be available for seven days and I'm telling you if you are There live, you're really going to get the most out of it. You're going to be able to ask me specific questions. If you have a YouTube chann, you're gonna be able to have me look at your YouTube channel, give you ideas, thoughts, feedback. So do make sure you get your ticket because this is like a once in a year event. We've never done an event like this. I literally just wrapped up all of the preparation for the sessions before this, so I'm so excited. Get your ticket right now. Trina Little.com Trina Little.net forward/evergreen. I'm going to be answering a few questions here in just a moment, but tomorrow we're going to be wrapping up this Simplicity series and I'm going to show you how I take that and then turn it into Instagram content. Now I've been getting a lot of questions. Trina, if you say YouTube, why are you over on Instagram or why are you posting Instagram reels? True. The reason I'm posting on Instagram right now is because I'm promoting my conference. I want to get the word out to as many people as possible. So I'm going to show up on Instagram to get the word out to as many people as possible. But guess what? I don't have to show up on Instagram every day after my conference to build my email list to sell my programs because YouTube is doing it for me. I'm just adding a little bit of sprinkle here on Instagram to get those of you that are on Instagram still not accepting that YouTube is not the future anymore. YouTube is now. I'm just here to get your attention, to tell you come on over to the YouTube side because it isn't as hard as you think. My Specialty is simplifying YouTube for business owners, making it possible and making it convert. So that is why I'm on Instagram. You won't catch me on Instagram every single day coming next week. And that's what I love about YouTube, not having to show up every single day. So if you have not got your ticket yet again, the link is in the comments on YouTube. Trina little.net forward/evergreen. And now I'm going to take a couple questions. If you are on Instagram and you have a question, go ahead and drop it into the comments. And I see here can you post that prompt here? Kim Char so I can. But I literally just talked to Chat GTP like it's a friend. I used to hold back on using Chat GTP Because I thought I needed the perfect prompts. There's no prompts that you need. I just wrote in there, you know, take this email, take this video transcript, write it into an email, summarize why they should watch this video. I like my videos to be more personal, more casual. So I told it to write it in a casual format and increase the chances that they will want to watch the video. So there's no, like, system prompt that I use. Seriously, I just talk back and forth to Chat GTP like we're friends. In fact, when I was in Europe in August, a friend of mine, she used Chat GTP to plan our entire trip. And she caught him, Chad. So she said, oh, Chad told me to go to this restaurant. Chad told me to do this. So I just speak to it casually how I would normally speak to it. I am using the updated version, the paid version of Chat gtp because I do use it for so much stuff. It speeds up a lot of things in my workflow, in my life as well. You saw that I use it to create a workout plan to come up with grocery lists, all of that. Let's see. How do you build an email list from YouTube viewers? That is a great question, Gemma. So I'm going to definitely be diving into that during the Evergreen and Evermore conference. But you need to make sure the content you're creating for YouTube is for the people that will want to be on your email list. So you're going to need to have something that they will want. Is it a free checklist? Is it a free video? What a value can you give to them? And push it in your YouTube videos, push it in your description box, push it in your YouTube link to get your viewers to want that thing to get on your email list. And that is how I grew my email list the first five years of my business. YouTube is what has got my business to what it is. I focus predominantly on YouTube for the first five years and YouTube is what grew my email list. How do you suggest introducing our email subscribers to our new YouTube channel? Just tell them, Kim Sharp, like, hey, guess what? I am launching a YouTube channel and I'm really excited because I'm going to be able to go into deeper ideas and trainings with you over there. Make sure you're subscribed because I want to ensure that you get notified when I publish these videos. And you're going to love them. Just tell them why they should. What are they going to get out of being subscribed to your YouTube channel? Okay. Don Vito says I'm excited about your upcoming conference. Would you like helping promote on all your channels at the same time? Would you like help promoting on all your channels? I am ish. I'm not on LinkedIn frequently so I'm not promoting on LinkedIn. We do have some Facebook ads running to our warm audience. Our warm audience is big. Why? Because I create YouTube content. People watch my YouTube videos, people go to my website, people go to my opt ins. People go to my landing page. We then retarget those people so I have cheaper ads because of the audience that my YouTube channel is warming up. So that's why you see ads on Facebook, on Instagram and I don't do TikTok. TikTok drives me bonkers. I feel like, yeah, I'm not gonna do TikTok right now. So I am really only promoting on YouTube, on Instagram and then some ads on. Okay, so Again tomorrow at 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time, I'm going to show you how I take that that I did in chat gtp. Help me come up with Instagram story ideas, Instagram post ideas and also Instagram reel ideas. So make sure you're here tomorrow and definitely, definitely get your seat in the Evergreen and Evermore conference. It is only $9. I mean it's the cost of one expensive coffee and you're going to get out of it way more than $9. When you do join, you're going to unlock up to three, three free bonuses that are ready for you. So just signing up gets you a bonus. There's an intake form that if you fill out unlocks another bonus. So you already have like three bonus workshops inside as soon as you grab your ticket. I'm speaking about organic from one location and pushing to all channels without ads. Yeah, I mean I like to keep simple. That is the name of my game. Simple. I'm on YouTube, I'm on Instagram when I need to be. I'm not on Facebook at all. But YouTube is my home. YouTube is where I hang out. YouTube is where I create content for. YouTube is where I focus my content for and then my email is where I nurture. So YouTube and my email are number one and two and Instagram is my sometimes three, sometimes never. Thank you. Hope she says Trina's events are really fun. Yeah, you're going to have a great time. You're also going to be able to talk to Hope, a client of mine and share how she's been able to use YouTube to grow her business, make sales every day from her YouTube channel. We also have three other clients of mine that are also going to be sharing what they've done to book close to four figure brand, close to five figure brand deals and get clients straight from their YouTube videos even when they just got started. So you're going to get everything that you need at this conference to really see how to get started and how to optimize your YouTube channel. So if you have a YouTube channel right now, you still want to be there because I'm going to be showing you how you need to use YouTube the right way. Not everybody's teaching YouTube for business owners. Okay. And if you're not doing YouTube for business owners, you're not going to get these results. So even if you're not new to YouTube, you're going to get a lot about out of this as well. All right, thank you all so much for being here. Again, make sure you have it on your calendar for tomorrow to be here to see how I turn all this stuff into reels content when I feel like it. Do we get the bonuses after the Evergreen event or do we already have them? As soon as you buy, Amy, soon as you get your ticket, you have it, you have the bonuses. Will you cover how to get the idea that everything is already done? Absolutely. I mean, I already have example I'm going to show you. Exactly. Yeah, for sure. Beth, Mumflow, I got you covered because I'm going to guarantee you it's not all been done before. Okay? All right, thank you all so much. I will see you tomorrow, hopefully. And if you have any questions, DM me on Instagram or email me trina little. Com. Otherwise, I expect to see you all next Tuesday at the the day of end.
