STOP Using Old Funnels—2025 YouTube Sales System

Traditional email funnels are losing effectiveness. This video presents a new sales system built on YouTube playlists instead, showing how to structure video sequences for higher engagement and conversion rates.
Email funnels are dead. And I'm going to tell you there's a better way to get people consuming your content than trying to get them to open your email and their overloaded inbox. Most business owners are still using the traditional email funnel follow up to convert leads to sales. But the typical person, their inbox is overloaded and most of the time they're not even opening half of their emails. So I want to tell you a new way to do funnels in 2025 by using a YouTube first approach. And you don't even need fight to get opened in people's inboxes. In fact, this way of doing a YouTube a first approach to your funnel actually allows people to go through your funnel faster than ever before, potentially turning a new person into a paying client in less than an hour. I'm going to show you how to do that. The thing is, most traditional funnels today, as I mentioned, rely on email follow up. You get someone's email by promising them a lead magnet or some type of free thing. Then you send them some follow up emails to transitioning them to then buy something from you. The issue, first of all, deliverability. Second of all, if you don't have good subject lines, they aren't going to open it. And third, our inboxes are just crazy as it is, right? Don't judge, but share what your inbox number is in the comments below. Yeah, that's over 7,000 unopened emails. Think if one or five of your emails that you sent to people were one of those 7,000 unopened ones, they're never going to hear what you have to sell and how what you have can solve their problem. The other problem that comes up is if you are creating ready to buy content like I talked about in last week's video, which I will link here in why your content is broke. If you're not focused on ready to buy content, your ideal viewer is ready to buy now. And they're not going to wait for you to send them an email tomorrow or the next day or the next day to tell them this awesome solution that you have. They want to buy a solution to their problem now. And when you're relying on email funnels, you're just not getting them that information fast enough. So they're going to move on and they're going to find a solution they can buy right now and they're not waiting for your email funnel. Now imagine if you could take that really good email funnel content that you have that you're usually burying in Emails, hoping somebody clicks it and opens it and reads it and put it in front of your audience on YouTube where they can actually find it when they need it the most and binge watch it. That's the power of a YouTube playlist funnel. It puts your best content in one place, publicly available for anybody to find and consume at their own pace. No needing to wait for emails, no more getting buried in inboxes and you are going to be showing up exactly when your person is ready to pull out a credit card and buy to have their problem solved. This is where you have the power of converting somebody who just found you today converting by the end of the day with a playlist funnel. Is there power in YouTube in this playlist funnel? Let's talk about some numbers. The simple truth is YouTube gets more engagement than any email sequence can deliver. According to a study by Wiesel 8, 74% of people say they're more likely to buy a product after watching a video. That's compared to just 50% for people who read emails. And YouTube viewers are proven to convert faster. 70% of people say they've discovered a product through YouTube and 60% of them said they've made a purchase within 24 hours of watching that video. That means YouTube first funnels aren't just easier to consume, they're also more effective at turning leads into paying customers and clients. I need you to get the key point across right here. Instead of relying on emails that take days to deliver, your audience can go through your entire funnel on YouTube in just a few hours. Binge watching, engaging, and ultimately buying. So what does this playlist funnel look like, Trina, and how does it unfold? So with a YouTube playlist funnel, you're actually thinking about your content in forms of four to five video sequences. This is where YouTube becomes so much easier for you. Because if you plan these four to five video sequences, you know what the next four to five weeks of your content is going to be. You're not just posting one off videos needing to randomly come up with content every single week. You have a strategy. This sequence of videos needs to take the buyer through a journey to get them to want to buy your offer. Now I do a complete deep dive into how to build this out in my YouTube coaching experience. If you want to work with me doing this and get all the templates in the chat TTP prompts, I will link to how you can join us in the description below. But you need to build out this playlist funnel by first explaining the problem that they're having offering the solution and showing them how your product or service is the answer. So roughly, my five video sequences go like this. The first video is why why they're having this problem. The second video then rolls into a quick win or how to or solve something really small that keeps them moving forward. The third video I then jump into misconceptions or mistakes because I'm trying to think if they watch video 1, what is the next question that they're going to have to does video two tee up to answer that question? After they watch video 2, what is the next question that they're going to have? Does video three tee up to answer that question? Usually in video four it's a bit more of an advanced topic. So again I can show I know what I'm talking about. I know that they can see my authority in this niche. And then video 5 is usually like a capstone and it wraps it all up and pitches my solution, explains to them why my solution is the best solution and tells them where they can buy the YouTube coaching experience. So this does a few things. If they decide to watch the full playlist, they're an incredibly hot lead and my opportunity of converting them by video 5 is huge. But the other opportunity this opens is it allows somebody to jump into the funnel where they're at in their journey. Remember, with an email sequence you're sending them a specific sequence, whereas with a YouTube playlist funnel somebody may already know why and had that win, but they're trying to figure out their mistakes. Are they looking for an advanced tactic and so they can jump right into video three or four in my playlist and I can get them to buy even sooner. We need to remember that by just using email funnels we're up against so many things that we can't control, like the deliverability, like if we're creating good subject lines, like if they're going to spam or if they're even opening emails. But with a playlist funnel you have your best content readily available for them to jump in with. Watch now where they're actively trying to solve their problem and take them through a journey. And this then allows you to make the rest of your content strategy in your business so much easier. So in my mini course, my Prep system for YouTube success at trina little.com prep I share how I then take my videos that I do here on YouTube, turn them into emails, weekly newsletter emails, and convert more people in my newsletter to low ticket offers and my coaching experience by using my YouTube playlist first strategy. Again, you can see my entire workflow for how I build my YouTube videos, from idea to publishing to repurposing at trina little.com forward/prep but there's something that can go incredibly wrong at this point unless you understand how to structure videos here on YouTube. Structure videos that will get the click and structure videos that people will actually watch and and take action. Your content here on YouTube, your playlist funnels that you build could get buried and seen by no one. So I want to show you how I plan my videos for a playlist funnel and how to get YouTube to push your videos to more people, following a specific YouTube game plan so that your funnel can perform the best it can. Watch the video next to learn that.
