The EXACT Plan to Go From $0 to $50K/Months on YouTube

Trena Little presents a 90-day plan to stabilize and scale sales for coaches and course creators by using YouTube as a demand-capture sales engine rather than a visibility play. The plan breaks into three monthly phases: Month 1 (clarify the "ready-to-buy" decision, create specific content ideas, build a 5-video playlist funnel that maps to the buyer's journey), Month 2 (establish rhythm by publishing one video per week, add conversion paths in video/description, and track metrics that matter like watch time and traffic to sales pages), and Month 3 (leverage bingeing and momentum so YouTube functions as an automated sales infrastructure). The video concludes with a pitch for Trena's YouTube coaching program, which includes one-on-one support, Google Analytics setup, and copywriting help.

If you're selling an offer or a coaching program right now, but it kind of feels fragile, like your sales are unpredictable and you're overwhelmed with am I gonna make more sales this month or are sales gonna be lower this month? This video is for you. Because the thing is, most coaches or course graders who are already making that five to $10,000 a month don't need more ideas. They need a system that is going to stabilize their sales without demanding more from them. So I'm going to walk you through a 90 day use with my clients to turn their YouTube channel into a reliable sales engine for their courses and their coaching programs without needing to post all the freaking time. Let me know in the comments below. Are you currently selling a course, a coaching program, one on one service? What are you trying to sell right now? Now I'm going to tell you, these 90 days, it's not a growth sprint. You want to think of more of a 90 day recalibration that's going to turn your expertise into basically an infrastructure. What you want to do after this 90 days is know sales are going to come in without you needing to show up. Does that sound good to you? Let's look at what you're going to do in month one. So this is day one through 30. You really want to think of month one as getting control and getting clarity on what you're focusing on. So really the goal in month one is to remove all the randomness from your marketing because I'm going to guess you're doing things that that don't matter or don't bring me sales and we're gonna cut that. What I see with most business owners who kind of plateau at that 5k to a hundred k a month mark, it's not that their business is broken, it's that they're focused on reactive marketing. So we've got to fix that. So you know the goal of month one. Let's go week by week now. So week one, you've got to decide what is going to be your ready to buy decision. Because you want to build a YouTube channel, not necessarily on an AUD, not necessarily on a niche like everybody says, but on a specific decision someone is already trying to make. For example, you want to create a channel and focus on a viewer that's going to be perfect to buy your course or your coaching program. That is the whole point for business owners to get on YouTube is to not be a YouTuber, not make AdSense dollars, not make brand deals, which is a good side thing to do. It's a good extra. But you want to build a YouTube channel that's going directly feed the course that you're already selling, the coaching program that you already have built out. Because if you're just creating content on YouTube to attract views, it's not going to help you make sales. And I'm not showing up here on YouTube just for fun. I'm showing up on YouTube strategically to generate leads and sales. So week one, you really wanted to decide what is the buying goal you want for any viewer that watches your content? Because then you're going to build a content strategy to attract that person. So in my example, my goal is to send Everybody to my YouTube coaching experience. That is my end goal. That is what I sell. That is my, you know, North Star in my offer. So you want to think about what is it you want to sell the most of in your business that's going to help you generate the goal for revenue that you have now. Week two, since you have this end goal in mind, you're going to start choosing content ideas that's going to attract that audience. Because YouTube is actually a demand capture tool, not visibility. It's great to be visible and it's great to get visibility. But if that's not turning into sales, we're not just being visible to be visible. So your goal in week two is to pick specific content ideas, talk about specific problems. Your ready to buy viewer and is searching on YouTube. You're not trying to attract everybody. And I tell my clients this all the time. We're not worried about our views growing. We want to look at is watch time growing because if we are attracting less viewers but it's building more watch time. We know we're attracting the right people because they're watching more of our content. We're doing a great job warming them up because the more content they watch of ours, the more chances they are going to buy from us. And when you get very specific with your content, not just broad, vague content, but very detailed problems that you're ready to buy viewer is searching that problem that they're having right before they buy your course or your coaching program, your content stops competing for attention. Because 99% of people aren't going to create this level of content. The most saturated content on YouTube is beginner level content. And your ready to buy viewer doesn't want to beginner level content. They need that detailed content that knows, oh, this person understands the problem that I'm having. Wow, she can talk to me knowing exactly what I need. That's the person I need to work with or buy from. So week two, you're building out the content ideas. Moving into week three, we're still in month one of week three, you're building a playlist funnel. Now, this is my specific strategy that I built for myself and my clients. That is basically a public email funnel. And the reason why this playlist funnel is so important, it's because people can find you at any given day time and binge all of your videos in that playlist funnel. And you know what, the goal of that playlist funnel is just like an email funnel to get people to buy. So you're not having to compete against email deliverability or email open rates or having to wait another day till you send them an email. They can literally binge a playlist within a few hours and realize that's exactly who I need to work with. So you need to be thinking about a playlist funnel of content that follows the buyer's journey. Because the more content you can get your viewer to watch again, the higher the possibility that they're going to pay to work with you or buy your course. But this is also exactly what the algorithm wants. So if you're getting people to binge watch more and more videos, the YouTube algorithm is going to put you in front of more and more people because you're doing exactly what it wants you to do. I've got quite a few videos on the playlist funnel that I will link right here. But specifically, the five, five topics that you've got to hit in this funnel got to change their beliefs. In the very first video, you've got to think about what are they thinking is the way they need to do it and what is the right way to do it that you do it. So that first video has got to hit and change their beliefs. The second video, you've got to really give them a good win because this is going to build trust. And you've got to make sure you're tying in that first video for them to go watch that second video. The third video, you really want to bust objections that they're having. You can also talk about mistakes that people make or myths that they have. The fourth video, you've got to show proof, pull a case study, pull a client interview. You really want to think about how this person is going from video one of that belief shift to that win, where it's building trust to the objection, busting to the proof, to finally how your system, how your framework works different than anything they've ever, ever, ever done before and why they need to buy your program. You see how this system follows a flow and how it really increases the chance that somebody who finds your funnel will buy from you. And this honestly just replaces so much content. Think about the dozens of disconnected posts that you have that you're just throwing things out there to get people to buy, to get people to DM you. Now you're creating public funnels that send people through a buyer's journey where the end goal is to get them to buy. This allows you to to really get focused on making more sales and not side quests of coming up with new offers to make more money or needing to rebrand to make more money or needing to post more or needing to panic and pivot. So here in month one, you really want to focus on precision, getting precise content, not expansion. Hit that like button if you're ready to move on to phase two, which is month two. Month two is all about building that stability for yourself and getting into a rhythm. So your goal in month two is to create weekly predictable sales behavior. Give me a heck yes down in the comments. If you want predictable weekly sales, meaning you know you're going to make three sales a week, you know you're going to make four sales a week, how great would that be? Give me a heck yes down in the comments. Here's what you're going to be doing in month two. Now, I don't have this broken out by weeks, so I'm going to give it to you as a list and you can kind of figure out how it fits into your schedule. But you're going to start recording those videos and get your first video published because you're going to go into a rhythm of posting just one YouTube video a week. That is all you need to do to start building this rhythm and this predictability of weekly sales. You're starting to route every viewer who finds one of your videos into a predictable buyer journey. You're not posting one off videos. You're not posting random videos where they may watch one video and never watch a video of yours again. You're building a system of videos that leads to sales every time you publish a video and you start letting YouTube basically doing all the heavy lifting for you, all the free promotion for you, without needing to be on Instagram or running Facebook ads if you would like. So one thing you're doing in month two is posting one weekly YouTube video. The second layer in month two is adding a conversion path. So in your videos you should have some type of call to action or some type of mention to a conversion action in your business, whether that's a webinar, whether that's a low ticket, whether that's an apply to work with you, you should be weaving in that call to action in each video and in the description box of your videos. Because at this level in your business, it's not that you need to make more funnels to make more money. You need a consistent flow of leads going through your funnel to make you more money. You don't need to create yourself more work. You just need to optimize that funnel that you do have. And you want to be tracking what actually matters during this time. So you heard me mention, views don't really matter for business owners on YouTube. Subscribers on YouTube don't really matter either for business owners. You want to be tracking our people watching all of your videos. Like, are you attracting the right people? Is your audience retention good on your videos you also want to be tracking, are your sales page traffic numbers going up or your lead magnet traffic pages going up? One of the things that we do in the YouTube coaching experiences, we have access to a Google Analytics expert and she helps make sure my clients have their Google Analytics set up so they can see specifically that YouTube is sending more traffic to their page. Whether it's their apply to work with me page, their sales page, their webinar page, that is what you need to be tracking. Because it doesn't matter how many views you get on YouTube, if you're not driving more eyeballs to your webinar page, to your sales page, it doesn't matter because that's not going to equate to more sales, more clients. What you're going to actually stop doing now in month two, you're not going to be worried about other platforms. I'm going to tell you right now, you can quit Instagram for a little bit and it'll be okay. I completely quit Instagram in 2025 and I've had one of the best years of my business ever. I challenge you to at least dedicate 90 days to YouTube and see what kind of results you can get and just put Instagram on pause. You're also not reinventing new messaging or more content ideas. You're following the flow of a playlist funnel and you're sticking with it. And you aren't over producing content. You only need to publish one video a week. You're a busy business owner. I know you can realistically get one YouTube video out and that is all the content that you need to put out each week for it to matter when it comes to generating sales. So month two, you're filming your videos, you're publishing your weekly videos, and those weekly videos are sending you traffic to a conversion event. Month three is all about leveraging and building that momentum because you've built the snowball. We've got to start pushing it down the hill now, right? Build that snowball momentum. So our goal here in month three is to let the system sell without more effort. This is where you're going to start feeling like YouTube isn't just a content platform to you anymore. It really starts to feel like your sales infrastructure. So what's going to be happening here in month three, while you're filming your videos and publishing a video Weekly in your 5 video playlist format, more viewers are going to start to binge. Your content sales are just going to start popping up. Like, you're going to wake up and be like, oh, I made a sale. Oh, I've got a new application. Oh, I've got a new client. Because they are going to be watching you while it's convenient for them, while you get to go live your life because you're building this system for them to binge watch while it's convenient to them, inconvenient for you. And the best part is this is when your nervous system starts to take a break. Because you can see how this predictable sales engine is really going to change the way you do business. And where you focus your time in your business, that's going to matter the most. This is when clients actually tell me, I finally feel like my business isn't hanging on by a thread anymore because you're showing up weekly on YouTube and heck, you're maybe using these YouTube videos to send weekly newsletters. I turn my videos into three emails and sell in every single one of those emails. So not am I selling on YouTube, YouTube, but I'm also selling my emails. But you're starting to have to make fewer decisions because you know exactly what you need to do. You're focused on the thing that's actually creating results, which is YouTube. You're starting to get consistent data. You're starting to see, okay, this is the type of video that gets views, that increases eyeballs to my sales page, or this is the type of video that increases webinar registrants. You're starting to see more consistent sales. I will also say this is where confidence starts to show up in yourself and you can start saying no to things. Like, maybe by the end of 90 days, you can say no to Instagram. You're like, I'm going to just stay on a break with Instagram. And it really starts to feel like your business is feeling this momentum without you feeling like you have to just keep swimming, right? Maybe you can take an afternoon off because you realize things are working kind of on autopilot, right? Because you've now replaced all this chaos of all this content that you should be posting to just one week weekly YouTube video. You've got a system in place to get people's attention and to keep them binge watching you, to finally say yes to you. And you're replacing all this pressure that you put on yourself because your Sales Engine, your YouTube channel is now creating that consistent use. Your sales page or even clients or course sales. It's the same expertise you've always had. It's the same offer that you always had. It's just a completely different operating system that alleviates a lot of stress off of you. This is exactly what I do in the YouTube coaching experience. I help my clients stay focused. I help them figure out the best playlist funnel to focus on. I help them come up with the titles and the thumbnails. I help them craft their scripts.
