This is Holding You Back from EXPANDING Your Reach on YouTube

YouTube rewards consistency and watch time in ways Instagram and TikTok don't. The algorithm favors videos people finish watching, not just click on, so longer content often performs better for building a real audience and selling products.
If you are feeling it's difficult right now to launch your courses, to make sales on your courses, book new clients, sell anything, it's probably because your audience has fatigued. We used to be able to get on Instagram, post some reels, go live, same thing on Facebook and reach new people every time that we launch. Right. We would do this launch routine that got us in front of new people. Well now in 2024, that's not working as much anymore because it's not as easy on social platforms like Instagram and Facebook and TikTok to reach new people without paying for it. But I have massively grown my email list in the last pretty much eight months without spending a butt ton of money on ads, are making a freaking buttload of content over on Instagram or TikTok. I would say I'm making one video a week. Does that sound doable to you? Now I know you have probably built up a loyal following over on Instagram and you probably have somewhat of a decent email list. But the thing is, if it stays that way and it's not growing and you keep selling to those same people over and over, eventually the returns are just going to start to diminish. Your audience saturated and it's going to be to get a sale. It's really going to feel like squeezing water out of a stone. The more you push, the more effort that you put into it. If you didn't take time to grow your audience before it, the less you are going to get in return. And I honestly believe that's why we are seeing so many people's launch numbers come down and down and down because they aren't taking the time or the effort to grow their audience on a platform that is sustainable, to grow an audience. And I know this is incredibly frustrating for you. If you're doing all the right things. You're posting reels multiple times a week, you're posting carousel posts, maybe you're even going live on Instagram and then you're sending those emails to follow up and you're launching it feels like over and over and over again and you are pretty freaking burnt out. You've even taken up to dancing on TikTok and maybe even lip syncing just to get in front of a new audience or to grow your audience. But when you do each one of those reels, let's talk about it, it just kills you a little bit inside every time, right? So what's the solution? How do you break out and start growing a brand new audience that has never seen Your offer before, never seen your course before, never seen your launch before. Honestly, by this point I should have some type of jingle for this. But enter YouTube, your brand new audience building tool. As I mentioned, you are going to be limited on the new people that you're able to get in front of on Facebook and Instagram. Unless you're paying for ads, because they want you to pay for ads so they will suppress your organic reach. YouTube still allows massive amounts of organic reach for totally free if you do YouTube, right? So YouTube is not going to hold your content back. YouTube is not going to throttle your content if you don't pay for ads. But you do need to do a few things right. You need to create videos that people actually click on. You need to create videos that people actually watch. And you need to be clear on who your viewer is when you do that. YouTube will give you free promotion to hundreds of people every single day. And the best part about these people on YouTube is most of the time they're actively searching for a solution to their problem. Whereas people who are on Instagram and TikTok, they are on there for entertainment, they're not actively looking for a solution to their problem. The people on YouTube are ready to buy if you have that solution they've been looking for. Guess what? They're whipping their card out and they're buying what it is you have. Here's where YouTube gets even better that I don't think enough business owners don't really think about. YouTube isn't just about the amount of views or subscribers that you have. YouTube is video content, obviously and long form video content. What this does for you as a business owner is allows you to build trust with brand new people. Remember I said YouTube is going to put your videos in front of new people. Well, instead of you needing to do the hard work warming these new people up, your videos are going to do it. Because videos are the fastest way for people to get a sense of can they trust you? Do they like your style? Because guess what, we aren't going to be for everybody. So people are going to know if you are the person they want to work with, they want to learn from. They are also generally watching your videos. And if you do it the way I teach it, they're watching multiple videos back to back to back of yours, which increases the probability that they are going to figure out a way to work from you, work from you, work with you or buy from you as opposed to like a 60 second reel. And nobody's really going to get a sense of your vibes or your authority, Especially if it's some dance and you're just pointing to words. When you put the time into YouTube, it does so much for you that you don't have to do. If someone finds you on Instagram, it's probably going to take months for them to warm up to you. Maybe you can get them to DM and you can start that conversation in the dm. But guess what? You're actively having to message them, right? What if it's a Saturday? Do you feel like messaging them? Probably not. You want to enjoy your weekend, but if somebody finds you on YouTube and they watch multiple videos, that video does it for you. And this has happened to me before. This isn't anything new. There was a weekend when my entire family was sick with the flu, like in the bathroom, on the floor sick. I had somebody email me that weekend saying, can I sign up to work with you? Just send me the link. I just binge watched your channel, I watched like eight videos and I want to work with you now. While I was sick with the flu, I, I just clicked my little automation. She signed the contract and made the first payment before I even stepped into my office on a Monday while I was sick with the flu. That's what YouTube can do for you. It can speed up that process and it can do a majority of the work, the converting work for you. And I don't just want you to take that example of mine. I've had multiple clients see this effect as well. They're able to tap into a brand new audience that, that never would have found them on Instagram or Facebook or TikTok. So specifically I had a client recently join me pretty much a channel from scratch after following my process and I taught her, you know, how to build a YouTube strategy and get a video people click on, get a video people watch, get clear on who your audience is. Within three months she had booked two one on one clients which more than enough to paid for her investment with me. Another client told me that she responded to a comment on her video to somebody, that person that commented on her video, she responded to them, signed up to work with her, found on YouTube. Right? This isn't even touching on the opportunity that you have when you're on YouTube to get brand deals, like really lucrative brand deals because businesses are willing to pay more money for sponsorships or features in YouTube videos than on TikTok and Instagram. Because businesses know the power of YouTube. Businesses know that YouTube video that they're featured in is gonna keep Showing up for people for years to come, whereas they know that TikTok is done in a day. Again, I have multiple clients I've worked with that have booked very good brand deals as well. Like I'm talking four figure brand deals. I know Instagram and TikTok and maybe even podcasting can feel frustrating right now. But even with podcasting, it's not video, right? And unless you're putting that podcast on YouTube, it's not searchable on YouTube where people are actively looking for that solution. And I'm not going to get into the whole podcast situation because just throwing your podcast on the YouTube and expecting YouTube to do its work won't happen. You need to structure your podcast differently. We won't go into that, but I do work with my clients on how to optimize their podcast for YouTube. The point is, if you are struggling to see the sales you want or it feels like your audience is just drying up, or like whatever you do on Instagram, however much content you're creating on Instagram, it feels like you're growing at a snail's pace. I would really, really challenge you to maybe pause on those platforms and put that time into YouTube because your ROI is going to be much higher on YouTube. And I'm actually going to be hosting a virtual conference on September 24th called the Evergreen and Evermore Conference where I'll show you how to attract your ready to buy customer every day with just one YouTube video a week.
