So you are struggling with YouTube. You're posting videos, you're doing all the things like thumbnails, titles, channel, banner. But it just seems like your YouTube channel has stalled out and you're about to give up. In today's video, I want to Share with you 5 YouTube growth strategies you can try to possibly breathe life back into your YouTube channel. So stay tuned. Hey, guys, welcome back to another episode of Just the Tips. My name is Trena. If you are new here and I help creative business owners like you get started here on YouTube. In today's video, we're going to talk about a couple growth strategies you can try on your channel to hopefully breathe some life back into your channel and spark some growth in your channel. The first thing I want you to do is try something new. If you've been doing screen tutorials or if you've been doing talking head videos, like this, or switch it up. If you've been doing talking head videos, maybe try doing a screen tutorial, maybe try going live and vice versa. If you've been doing screen tutorials, maybe try to do something like a talking head video. Some tips, maybe do a favorites video to connect with your audience a little bit more. But switch up your video style. Just see if it starts resonating with your audience better. The next thing I want you to do is to dig into your analytics. Your YouTube gives you so much free information about your channel, you really want to use this. So take a look who's subscribing to your channel. Maybe you think it's all women ages 24 to 35, but then you go in there and you realize you've got some men viewers. Take a look and see what are they responding to? What are your top videos? What do people like to see from you based on those top videos? Also take a look at where your traffic is coming from. Is it coming from Pinterest? Is it coming from Facebook? Maybe you spend a little more time on those platforms promoting your videos because something's working there and you're getting traffic from those platforms. And you also want to look at your audience retention. Where are people dropping off? Where are they saying, nah, this isn't for me, and what can you do at that point in your video to change it up so people want to stay longer? The next one is collaborate. Whether you find somebody in your niche or you find somebody who's reaching the same target audience as you, collaboration is so important here on YouTube. It starts to tell YouTube that these creators have similar content or similar audience. So then they'll start recommending your video to their audience or they'll start recommending your audience to that creator. So it just really helps you grow your channel. It's like that saying that rising tide has that a rising tide tide lifts all boats. So if we're going to all help each other in a collaboration format, we're all going to grow together and it's not scary to reach out to a collaborator. A lot of people on this side of the camera like me, love to hear from people who want to do a video together. It doesn't matter if you have one subscriber or a million subscribers. It's nice to create content together and just have a community of collaborations. Right? Next, create some playlists. So whether you have playlists on your channel already or not, create some new playlists, start promoting those playlists, whether it's on your link tree, in your link, in your Instagram, whether you highlight them on your website, or even create a pin specifically to a playlist and you start promoting that pin. Really start to look at a playlist strategy to breathe life back into your dead channel. And finally take a look at your promotion strategy. I did a whole video on 10 Ways to Start promoting your videos. So you can check that out, but look at what's working. Go back to your traffic sources again and see where are your video traffic? Where is your video traffic coming from? Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and focus on the ones that are working and just kind of leave the ones that aren't to the side and don't focus on those for now. Focus on the ones that are really working. Now. If you are really ready to make sure your YouTube channel is set up for success, make sure you grab my YouTube channel checklist.
