So you finally decided to put your business on YouTube and access the 4 billion views that occur on YouTube every day. But how do you even get started today? I'm going to give you three tips for how you can get started on YouTube today. Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Just the Tips with Trena where I provide you some business advice while I sip on some coffee or wine. And I don't have neither today. So I'm guessing you've decided to finally put your business on YouTube, but you probably don't have any video content to upload. Got you covered. First, upload any Periscope broadcast that you have. By uploading your periscope broadcast to YouTube, you're not only able to repurpose this content that you've spent so much time on, but you are giving access to a whole new set of audience to this content that you've created. People on YouTube may not be on Periscope, they might not be following you on Periscope, and putting this content out there for them to see really gives you access to a whole new audience. The next thing you can do is take a look at your website analytics, see which blog posts are getting the most traffic, because these will be your most popular posts. Take these posts and turn them into videos. Now remember, you'll want to keep your videos three to five minutes long. So just make sure in your video you're talking about the most important content in that blog post. Instead of just reading exactly what's in your blog post, write a script to reorganize the content and freshen it up a bit. Then, once you have a video, add it to that blog post and your YouTube channel. It will be great to access a new audience and it'll also boost that blog post SEO. And finally, the third option is to create a tutorial. This option is great if you're ready for video content, but you're not quite ready to be on camera. So you can create a tutorial of just a screen recording of your computer showing people how to do something. Or if you're more of a physical product business, maybe you could show people how to do something just by filming your hands. That way you're not on camera, you're teaching people how to do something, and you're building your authority to this audience to show them you really know what you're talking about. If you'd like a bonus idea of what you could also do on your channel, head on over to my blog. I posted it over there. Just go ahead and click right up Here, it'll take you to the blog post and you can see that bonus tip. Which video idea do you like the most? Are you ready to start your YouTube channel for your business? Or do you already have a YouTube channel channel for your business? Let's chat down in the comments section below. Let me know what video idea you like most or leave me the link to your YouTube channel because I want to check you guys out if you're ready to take your business to the next level with video content. I'm currently accepting new students into my six week group coaching program called Brand Building Video Academy. In this academy, it's six weeks of me teaching you how to get comfortable on camera, how to build a video content strategy that's effective for your business, and how to use YouTube to get your videos seen and found. Make sure if you're interested in this program to go sign up now because I'm keeping this group very small so that I can give everybody very individualized attention. So grab your spot now before it's all filled up. The link will be right up here and also down in the description box below. If you think this video would be helpful to some of your business friends, make sure you share this video on Twitter or Facebook. The links to share will be right down below. And don't forget to subscribe to this channel if you don't want to miss when I upload a new video. As always guys, thanks for watching. Bye. When I first started my business, I saw all these amazing entrepreneurs posting to social media every day, consistently blogging and just looking downright organized while I sat behind my computer, not showered in days and I haven't even brushed my teeth yet and it was well past lunchtime and I wondered what am I doing wrong.
