Trina, a YouTube strategist, breaks down five video types every business should make: About Me, testimonials, tutorials, Q&A, and opinion videos. Each one serves a specific purpose in growing your audience and converting viewers into customers.
You know, video is important to your business strategy, but here's the thing, you don't have the time to do it. I totally understand. So what I'm going to suggest is do the videos that are going to get you the biggest return. So in this video, I'm going to walk you through the five videos that you should have. If you're low on time, that's going to get you the biggest results. Hi, I'm Trina and I'm a YouTube strategist and I started this channel to help creative entrepreneurs like you get started on YouTube to grow your business. So if you are brand new to this channel or you have not done so yet, make sure you click that subscribe button down below and if you click that bell icon, you'll be notified every single time I upload a new video to help you. Now, you know video is important. We already went over that. But what are the videos that you can do to really maximize your video effort? First, your About Me video. This video is super important because you can use it in multiple places. You can use it here on your YouTube channel or on your about page and in your email newsletter sequence. This is a great video to allow people to get to see you. It's kind of your way to be visible. Even though you may not be ready to be visible. It allows people to get to know you a lot quicker. They get to put a voice to the face and a name to the face to the voice and it allows them to connect with you a lot quicker and easier if they just get to know a little bit more about you. So you could do a channel trailer here on your YouTube channel to let people know what you're all about. Or you could just do a 10 facts about you to just kind of let people know behind the scenes what you're about, what you like, and just get to know you. The next video that you've really got to focus on is a success story or a testimonial video. This is the video that is going to make you money because it allows people who are thinking about working with you, are buying from you the results they're going to get from working with you. This lets them know that they're not going to waste their money working with you and they can see what other people have accomplished by hiring you or buying your course. This is definitely a video you should incorporate every single time you launch a product or a service and a really important video to have on your services page if you want to convert more of those website traffic views to actual customers. I love sending my group students and also my one on one clients. Just a couple questions to answer on video so that I can use as success stories and testimonials. The next video that's really going to help you out is a tutorial video. Because this video is going to allow you to shine. It's going to highlight what you can do best, whether it's setting up systems in Dubsado or whether it's how to copyright an Instagram or a newsletter. It's it allows you to show your expertise, show your authority. And if you can allow that viewer to get a quick win with your help, it's instantly going to solidify that trust with them. So when the time comes that they need to hire someone like you, they're going to remember the win you gave them and they're going to be ready to work with you or buy from you instantly. Another great video that's going to get a big bang for your buck is a question and answer video. What's great about this is if you're constantly getting the same questions over and over, if you're seeing them constantly in Facebook groups, answer this question on video. It's something probably most people are wondering. And if you can answer it on video, you have a go to video to send people when they email it to you to send people in Facebook groups when they ask it. And it solidifies you as that expert because it's a question that these people keep having over and over that they need answered. And if you got that answer and you can help them out, bam, you're going to be ready to convert that person into a buying client or customer. I also like to use these, which I'm going to start doing more in my video strategy by asking my community to submit questions and then I can highlight their question on the screen and answer it for them. Then I'll just go through about five or six different questions and answer them all in one video. It's a great way to create that sense of community with your audience because you're basically highlighting them on your video and it gets them excited to see that the next video is an opinion video. This video allows you to really show your beliefs in your niche. Now, I'm going to guess everybody in your niche does not have the same view on all of the issues in your industry, right? So give your perspective on something in your industry. It does not have to be like everybody else. In fact, if it's not, it's probably going to set you apart. What it's actually going to do for you is allow you to attract your ideal client to because your ideal client probably is thinking like you but maybe can't find somebody else who is thinking like that. So by you sharing your opinion on something in your industry is really going to let that viewer know yes, this is who I want to work for. This is who I want to buy from. This is my person. So if you can start to think about what are some controversial or some topics in your industry that people have different opinions on, what can you do to really highlight your opinion? Okay, it's your turn to tell me what video you are going to do. Don't forget I've got a whole list of video ideas for you on the screen right now that you can watch and get ideas from. And don't forget to click that little circle picture of me to subscribe for more tips and strategy on YouTube. Thank you so much for watching and I see you in the next video. Bye.
