If you're still on the fence about creating a YouTube channel for your business or you've just been putting it off, today I'm going to give you three benefits that you're missing out on if your business isn't on YouTube. Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Just the Tips with Trena where I provide online entrepreneur tips and tricks on how to create a video content strategy that works for them and their business. Just remember, if you aren't subscribed to this channel yet, just go ahead and click that red subscribe button down below. And let's get into the three benefits you might be missing out on. The first benefit is YouTube allows you to build your authority much faster than any other platform. YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world and it's also the place that people are going to get their questions answered. If you can provide valuable answers to their question, you're instantly going to be seen as an authority figure to that viewer. The best way to start building your authority to your audience is start teaching them, provide tutorials, go do some research and what are the main pain points or the main questions you get asked in your niche and and then teach them how to solve that pain point. For example, I get a lot of the time how to create a channel banner and what should you put on your channel banner? So a couple weeks ago I created a tutorial on what to include on your channel banner and how to do it. I know that that was a pain point for my audience, so I taught them how to resolve that pain point and they instantly saw me as an authority figure because I gave them an easy mapped out steps on how to make a channel banner. Actions always speak louder than words, so if you can provide valuable educational material to your audience, it really solidifies you as an authority figure in your niche. The second benefit you could be missing out on is an opportunity to connect with your audience on a deeper level and grow your community. A lot of people tend not to think of YouTube as a social media platform, but it's as much as a social media platform as Instagram and Facebook. People can comment on your videos and this is a great opportunity for you to connect with your audience. You can really start getting a conversation going in your comments if you ask a question in your video to spark the conversation in your comments. Now if you are posting your videos and you're not getting much conversation in those comments, go ahead and put your own comment in first. Ask a question in that comment section and hang around you see what kind of Conversations get going in the comment section and keep it going. The more comments you get on your videos, the higher you get ranked in YouTube. So why not spend a couple extra minutes in that comment section, not only connecting with your audience, but also getting your video ranked higher. The third and final benefit you could be missing out on is increased traffic to your website. Google really values video content on websites. They see this as top of the line content. And if you have video content on your website, it's. It's more likely to get ranked on the front page of a Google search result than a website without video content. So how do you incorporate video into your website? What I do is I provide all of my content here on YouTube, but I also create a blog post on my website that summarizes what my video is all about and what I'm sharing and what you can get out of my video. And then I embed my video to that blog post so that the reader can then watch my video. Not only are they connecting with me on that video, but it also signifies to Google that I have high value content on my website because I embedded that video into my blog. It also shows YouTube that my video content is valuable because I've embedded it into a website and that creates a backlink. The more backlinks you have to YouTube, the higher quality YouTube sees your video as and the higher it's going to rank you in YouTube search results. Those are three major benefits you're missing out on if you don't have a YouTube channel for your business. I want to hear from you now. What benefit are you really interested in? Increased website traffic? Building a loyal community. Let me know in the comments below and let's talk about it. Let's talk about how we can really work on that for your business YouTube channel.
