Like I said, today we're going to talk about the importance of video content, video marketing, you, YouTube and this whole new video trend. But I hate to break it to you, it's not a trend, it's here to stay. So I just want to give you a few statistics before we jump into the content for you to see how big of an impact video content really is for your business. So 88% of people are more likely to stay longer on your website if you have video content, and 52% of marketing professionals are worldwide claim that video content has the highest return on investment. So even though you might be spending more time creating video content, you're getting a higher return on that investment than say, images or blog posts. What's the key or what's the benefit of video content that's really changing people's mind and making them implement more video into their strategy? Well, first is it builds know, like and trust. And especially if you're an online business or an online entrepreneur, it's going to be essential for you to build a relationship with people before they're ever going to buy from you. You need to create that know, like and trust because they can't physically get to you or physically touch or see or feel your product. So you really need to develop a relationship and a know, like and trust with potential clients or customers that they will be willing to buy from you. Because we aren't going to give money to any old stranger we meet on the Internet, right? Next, video is proven to increase your conversion rate. Having video on your website or on your landing page or on your product page is going to help you convert more sales because people get to see it, they get to experience it, they get to hear from you. Again, it builds that relationship. So video is essential in increasing your conversion rates. Also, another interesting fact about video is it boosts your website's SEO. So just by having video on your website, you're 52 more times likely to show up on a front page Google result. Who doesn't want to be on the front page of a search result on Google? This is because Google really values video content. So by you putting video content on your website, they're going to boost you higher up in their algorithm and you're ultimately going to show up higher in their search results. And finally, video content is just a much more engaging platform than anything else. You can get much more interaction on a video if you're asking people to comment, like share. People are more willing to do it on video than say, on a blog or a text. You're also more likely to see more shares of your video because people really like sharing videos, especially, especially if they're helpful. People are going to share your video, which means your video is getting out to more people, your content is getting out to more people, and you're growing your audience. So that's why video content is so important here in 2016 and even more in 2017. So what are your thoughts on video content? Do you watch video content? Do you consume a lot of video content?
