Your Blog, Podcast, and Instagram Are Invisible to AI. Here's Proof.

In this livestream, Trena Little warns business owners that content on platforms like blogs, podcasts, and Instagram is increasingly ignored by AI-driven search, which now guides half of consumer purchasing decisions. She presents data showing that 50% of consumers use AI-powered search, 47% say AI shapes brand trust, and AI citations overwhelmingly favor YouTube (20% of all AI citations, far outpacing Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and Vimeo). Through live demonstrations, she shows how ChatGPT and other AI tools surface her own YouTube videos and those of her clients, delivering hundreds to thousands of AI-driven views and leads. Trena explains that a focused, niche‑specific YouTube strategy—rather than trying to become a traditional YouTuber—can get a business cited by AI, generate free traffic, and future‑proof revenue as AI search is projected to funnel $750 billion in U.S. revenue. She promotes the upcoming "Build Your Big Reputation" virtual conference, offering a one‑day, live‑coaching intensive for $27, where she will teach step‑by‑step how to create AI‑referencable YouTube content, choose titles and thumbnails, and avoid the ineffective Instagram/TikTok hamster wheel. The session ends with a Q&A, ticket reminders, and a teaser for the next livestream on why you shouldn’t follow typical YouTuber advice.

If you are not creating content that AI can reference, I'm going to show you in this video why unfortunately your business is going to slowly run out of money. Okay? And I'm not saying this to scare you. I'm saying this as an advisor to you to save your business while you can because AI is here. AI's changed everything and AI's changed the way you are gonna grow your business, grow your email list, find clients, and make sales. And I'm going to walk you through the proof in how to do that in today's live. So real quickly, welcome back to another episode of the Rich and Recommended series. So this is the series that I've been doing the last couple of weeks all about getting rich in money, time, family, and fun, all the most important things right now. And most importantly, recommended by AI, YouTube, and word of mouth in 2026 and beyond. Go ahead, if you're here live, say hello in the chat. If you're catching the replay, I would love to hear you say hello as well. If you've been here for all of the episodes, I really appreciate you. This community has been great. I've loved getting to know you. I'm considering doing some more live streams because I don't hate it as much as I used to. I decided today I am showing up right after Pilates. I didn't even do hair and makeup for you. I did a little bit of makeup, but, um, I have really loved doing this. If you've not catch— caught— catch— if you've not caught the last couple of episodes in this series, I've been explaining why I'm double downing on YouTube. So in first part, and they're all linked below for you to catch later. In the first part, I walk through how I'm going to use YouTube to make it to $1 million in my business this year while only posting content to YouTube. Then I walked you through how I'm doing it, uh, through my calendar, only working 20 hours a week. And then I walked you through the strategy that I do on YouTube. And now I want to show you why it is important to be doing YouTube. And if you are not doing YouTube, you are going to miss out Okay, now before I show you what I wanna share with you here today, this entire series that I have brought to you is the beginning of the Build Your Big Reputation virtual conference, and it is happening next week. This is your last chance to hear me talk about it before it happens. So everything in this series, this Rich and Recommended series that I revealed, I revealed my revenue, my schedule, my funnels, my playlist strategy, and now all the AI data, All of this comes together at the virtual conference next week and is where I'm gonna show you step by step how to build your YouTube strategy that makes you the person that AI will recommend. And you're about to see how important that is. It will also show you how to get YouTube to promote you for free so you're not having to pay to play like we all are on Meta and how to get your clients knowing who you are and trusting you. You. So again, if you have not got your ticket to the Build Your Big Reputation Conference, go to trenalittle.com/rep. I put the link up here. It is also down in the description box. Get your ticket. It is a full day that we are going to work together. I also have the opportunity for you to submit a coaching question where I will coach you live during this conference. So get your ticket. If you've got your ticket, let me know you got your ticket in the chat. Say, I'm in, so I know you've got your ticket. Um, but it's literally you and me in a room. We have about 100 people right now, probably close to 120 people that have gotten their ticket from 11:00 AM to about 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, getting you started on YouTube so that you can create content that lasts longer than 24 hours, gets you recommended by AI, and gets you in front of the people that are willing to pay to work with you or buy your courses. All right. In fact, go ahead and tell me what you want to sell more of on YouTube. Do you have a course you're trying to sell, a membership, a coaching program? Let me know in the chat what you want to sell on YouTube. Okay, let me show you why everything I've shared in this series matters more than you think. So let me get this off. I'm going to walk you through some numbers that I think should change how you think about your entire content strategy. All right. So we've got The Real Rocco is in. Okay, we'll double check that if you didn't get a confirmation email, we'll make sure you get that. So where are we at here? I'm going to share my screen. Okay, so hopefully this pops up here in just a moment where you see my slides. The first number that I want you to know is that 50% of consumers now use AI-powered search to make buying decisions. This is important. This is how people are deciding who to buy from. So this is across all generations, including boomers. Your clients aren't just going to Google anymore. They are asking ChatGPT, Perplexity Cloud, Google Gemini, who to hire, what to buy, and who to trust. Who thought this number was this high? 50% of consumers now use AI-powered search. Now, more importantly, AI is the gatekeeper. So this study by 802 says that 47% of consumers say AI shapes which brand they trust. Listen, if you aren't creating content that AI can even recommend, you're not even in the ballpark for this, okay? You've gotta be creating content that AI can reference, that AI can put in front of people for consumers to even start to trust you. An AI-generated shortlist often contains only a few brands, and if yours is included, you're never going to enter the consideration set. Okay, this is so important. Your Instagram content, your TikTok content, your podcast content is not what AI is recommending. And I'm going to share with that here in a moment. AI is no longer just a brainstorming tool. We can see right here, 47% have used AI to help make a purchasing decision. And 56% of Gen Z and 55% of millennials have done so as well. Who here is amazed by these stats? Give me a yes or no in the chat because consumers already use AI-powered search extensively across the decision process. So for example, people aren't going to AI like they used to go to Google, right? They are asking more things in AI, they're getting more detailed so they can get more detailed responses. So like in the awareness phase, people are asking, what should I consider when choosing a credit card? What should I look for in a sunscreen? Think about your offer. I know, Helena, you said a movement membership. I see Dorothy, you said science communication. Hi, Dorothy. What are people searching in the awareness phase for you? So a movement membership, but they're just starting to figure out, you know, where is the best movement membership to get the goal that they want, right? Then they move on to that consideration. What does 4K resolution mean on a TV? Or what does the best laptop under $800? You wanna think about how is your ready-to-buy viewer typing this in? So like, what is the best movement membership for under $10? Or what is the best, um, uh, science communication program for under $100, right? This is how people are searching. Look at the decision, compare iPhone 15 versus Galaxy. What are they comparing for you? Are they comparing two different memberships? Are they comparing two different courses? This is something that you have got to be thinking about because this is how people are using AI right now. So question for you guys, have you looked in ChatGPT to see if you are actually showing up for specific search terms that your audience is searching? I'm gonna grab a drink of water here. Have you tested it? Are you sure you're getting traffic from AI? Like Chat Perplexity, because we need to realize people aren't going to Google anymore. In fact, the statistic now shows us that 37% of people start with AI instead of Google when searching for products, services, and most importantly, experts. The front door of the internet has completely changed, and if your content isn't where AI is looking, your potential clients, your potential customers will never find you if you're not creating content that can be found by AI. So for example, right here, why searches start with AI. 62% of people want quick summarized answers instead of long lists, okay? Consumers aren't choosing AI because it's trendy. They're choosing it because regular search like Google has become too noisy, too effortful, and too slow. Okay, I share this with you to tell you that you need to make sure you're creating content that AI can reference because this is how people are searching now. They are not going to Google as much anymore. 20% of all AI citations are YouTube. 20% of all AI citations are YouTube. That's too 200 times more than any other video platform. AI is not citing your Reels. It doesn't reference your podcast. It does not pull from carousels. It does cite from YouTube every single day. And if you do not have YouTube content, AI cannot cite you. AI cannot recommend you. And I'm gonna show you some proof here. But what you need to know is YouTube is cited 200 times more than any other video platform. It is presented across all platforms. Essentially, the only video source that matters is YouTube. Competitors barely register. So Vimeo has 0.1% citations. TikTok is 0.1%. All right, this is important to know because if you're doing business in 2026 and beyond, you've got to start thinking about how you can get AI to recommend you. 29.5% of Google AI overviews cite YouTube. 100% week-over-week growth for ChatGPT. So people are consistently going to ChatGPT to search, friends. All right, $750 billion in US revenue will funnel through AI-powered search because I'm telling you, this is how people are deciding who to hire, who to buy from, who to work with. All right, this was $0 in 2023. It will be $750 billion in revenue filters through AI decisions. It is a permanent shift. It is how people will find and choose who they buy from from here on out. And again, if you aren't creating YouTube content, you will not get recommended by AI. You guys, you're missing out on the opportunity to grow your business for free by creating YouTube content. Here is how AI cites by platform. YouTube wins, right? 20% of citations come from YouTube. 10% come from Reddit. Instagram is 1.1%. TikTok, 0.4%. And Vimeo, 0.1%. Well, yes, some Instagram content may be cited, It's 18 times less than YouTube. Where do you wanna put your efforts when it comes to content you're creating? Wouldn't you rather put it into YouTube where you have 18 times more chances to be recommended by AI? This is what we need to be thinking about to future-proof our business when it comes to 2026 and beyond, okay? So does anybody here know, does their channel, I mean, does their business, their website, their offers show up when they search in ChatGPT? Anybody know for sure? Yes or no? Mind-blowing. Yes, right? Right, Real Rocco Davis. The, the world has— the, the online space has changed, and AI is the number one place you need to be on. And the only content— I will say this a thousand times— is that you need to be creating content AI recommends. So let me walk you through how I did this So I'm gonna take this prompt. I took some time to come up with prompt, my search, so we didn't have to think about this. When I type this into ChatGPT, okay, so let's just make this a little bit bigger. I wanna learn how to use YouTube in a way that grows my business. I don't wanna be a YouTuber. I want my YouTube videos to grow my email list, get my viewers, get viewers that will actually pay to work with me. Who teaches how to do this? So when people go to AI, they're searching more specifically about them and more specifically about what they really need. And this is perfect for us because if you have a really dialed-in audience, this is what makes you stand out on YouTube. And I'm gonna tell you, a lot of the research that I've done is that you don't even need the biggest channel to outrank your competitors on ChatGPT. So I'm a very specific niche on YouTube. I don't have the biggest YouTube channel, and this goes to show you right here. Where do I show up? The strongest fit I found for I want videos to grow my email list is Trena Little. Does Sunny and Sean Cannell have a much larger YouTube channel than me? Absolutely, but I am very dialed in with who my audience is for. And I know this is what my audience is gonna be searching. The audience that is most likely to work with me, they're being very specific in who they wanna work with. And if we pop in here, it takes people right to my website, it links right to my website, right to my YouTube channel, okay? That's what happens when you use YouTube and you're very specific about your audience because YouTube will recommend you and it doesn't even matter how many followers you have, if you're very dialed in on your ready-to-buy audience, that is how you get AI to recommend you. And then I'll show you specifically when we look at my channel, I get traffic from ChatGPT. I have over 534 views this year alone from ChatGPT. Chat is sending me traffic to my YouTube channel. These are views that you are missing out on if you do not have a YouTube channel. These are potential customers, these are potential clients that you're missing out on if you don't have a YouTube channel, okay? So I see I've asked Copilot, what is Dorothy known for? Not bad, this is really useful. So they won't be searching actually your name Dorothy, right? They're gonna be searching the problem that they have and do you come up as the solution for the problem that they have? That's what you need to be looking at. You need to be searching the problem. So for example, I'm going to pull up another example here. Let's start a new chat and I will share my screen here. I'm going to type in here, I want to learn calligraphy. I want to learn from somebody who has free YouTube tutorials on how to get started, but may also have courses that I can get even better with my calligraphy. Who do you recommend? So we're gonna go ahead and hit this. Now this one is referencing YouTube, but you gotta think about people in your audience. They wanna get some free information first. People are going to YouTube, people are watching YouTube more than the Disney app and the Netflix app combined. People are using YouTube, so you need to be thinking about how people are searching too to test the waters with you, to see if you're a good fit for them or not. And they're going to wanna see if you are on YouTube to test those waters, because video is the fastest way to grow trust. Right there, best overall beginner pick is one of our past clients, Happy Ever Crafter. Right there is her YouTube channel. Right there is learn more calligraphy with her. Right there is a specific YouTube video. And here's another YouTube video as well. And so this is our client, one of our clients, Becca, the Happy Ever Crafter. She has a YouTube channel. She is being recommended by ChatGPT. None of her Instagram content was being recommended. None of her TikTok content was being recommended. Her YouTube videos were being recommended. Okay, I'm gonna show you another example. So I'm gonna pull up a new chat. Okay, and now we're gonna type in, I have scoliosis and I want to start an at-home yoga routine to strengthen my, my core. But I want to learn from someone who specializes their workouts for someone with scoliosis. Now, this is a very specific pain point that a ready-to-buy viewer has, right? If somebody wants to strengthen their core, but they need to focus on somebody who teaches for scoliosis because it's a little bit different, you want to make sure you don't worsen your scoliosis. This is how your audience is going to be searching in ChatGPT, in Perplexity, in Claude, because people search more detailed questions because they want to find the right answer for themselves. And so as ChatGPT does the— what it does, does anybody have any specific questions or something they want me to search on GPT to see if you come up for the problems that you solve? What problem do you think you solve really well? We can pop it into GPT and see if it even references you. Because again, if you don't have a YouTube channel, it is going to be hard for you to rank in GPT. So one of my clients is a, um, sorry, is a learner of Elise Browning Miller. Um, and so initially she does not show up here as recommended, but she does have her YouTube channel show up here. No, sorry. So we put in this. Okay, now maybe this person's thinking, what would they want? Maybe I want a program, maybe I want a course, maybe I want a membership, right? So what if I want to join an online membership that has routines and challenges for me to follow? So let's put this in here. And we can now see what GPT recommends. Because our client is Christine, who has a YouTube channel called Yoga, right here, Move with Scoliosis. She has over 400 videos and she has a membership. Now Christine does get over 100 email signups to her email list every single month. From YouTube, but more importantly, the leads she gets from YouTube that do join her membership stay with her longer than leads that come from any other platform because they have experienced her on YouTube, they've trusted her, and so she has a lower churn in her membership because of YouTube. So if we go back to the results, guess what shows up? Her membership right here. Shine by Move with Scoliosis. And guess what? It links directly to her membership. All right, ChatGPT is sending her traffic because she has that YouTube channel. Now there's one more client that I do wanna reference. This is our client Jackie. She, you can see, is getting 4,700 views so far this year. So what are we in, month 4? 4,700 views from ChatGPT. Think about this. How many views, how many potential leads, how many potential customers are you missing out on by not having content GPT recommends? 4,700 views. And the last thing I wanna show you, this one is really interesting. Let's pop this into chat because this is for a copywriter. Now, this is for the best copywriting messaging expert for an established online business that teaches how to write smarter, sharper website copy, premium position, and a more distinctive brand voice. Because a lot of people right now are wanting to level up their copy so it doesn't feel like AI, right? Who are your top recommendations to help me learn how to write better, take my copy more premium, more elevated, so it doesn't feel like they're just reading something everybody else is writing, because that's gonna help me convert more if I can create better copy. Now, we're gonna see who this particularly recommends, but who I believe it recommends, she has not posted any YouTube videos in over a year. And she's showing up as the number one recommendation right there. Ashlyn Carter of Ashlyn Writes. She has not posted on YouTube in over a year, but she has a library of videos that ChatGPT references. And you can see that she's not posted in a year and GPT has sent her over 160 views this year alone. Because she has content on YouTube. Now, there are copywriters out there that I follow that are posting on Reels all the time, who are doing stories all the time, and yet she's still outranking them without even needing to create content because she's built this reputation that GPT will recommend. How many of you are blown away by this? Yes or no in the chat. Who is blown away by this? Who is realizing that they need to create a presence on YouTube, that they need to have YouTube content so they don't get ignored by AI anymore? And I'm gonna remind you, I am going to show you exactly how to get started, exactly how to find your content, exactly how to title and thumbnail these. This is what I'm teaching at the Build Your Big Reputation virtual conference. Next week. The ticket is just $27. $27 to spend the day with me, to get live coaching with me. We are doing live coaching to get the replays. You have the replays for 7 days to watch. But this is how you are going to future-proof your business against AI. Because if you do not create YouTube videos in 2026, you will be obsolete by 2027 because your competitors are knowing this. Your competitors are learning this. And if you aren't creating that content on YouTube that AI is citing, the way your audience is now going to search, the way your audience is now researching and deciding how to buy, your business will become obsolete. And that's not a scary thing, that's just facts. Okay, so make sure you get your ticket. I do want to do a quick little run-through of some of what you sent me, so I help churches grow. I help them get more first-time guests coming in. Let's see, let's play with this. Okay, I'm gonna drop this in the chat real quick. I need, I need help growing my church. I need someone who can Help me get more first-time guests coming in and keep them coming, and keep them coming back. Okay, so that's the problem that they have. I need help growing my church. I need someone who can help me get more first-time guests coming in and keep them coming back. Who is the best expert to learn from to do this. Okay, so we are gonna go ahead, Real Rocka, well, yeah, Real Rock Davis, see what it recommends. Do you currently have an active YouTube channel? I know you have like a channel here, but are you actively posting content that focuses on this audience base? I'm gonna grab a drink and wait for you to answer 'cause I know I'm slightly delayed here. Dorothy, you have your ticket. Awesome. Um, what's the best way to ask a question to be covered in the session? So when you buy your ticket, Dorothy, um, you— the thank you page actually goes to a replay page. I'm sorry, it will go to a replay page, but I'll send the replay out. Um, but your thank you page has 4 bonus sessions to watch and there is a form for you to submit a coaching question. So that's where you'll submit that question in advance, um, is that coaching question. All right, so the one name to start with, I begin with Tom Rayner. Okay, so Real Rocco, it's a hard time. It's going to be hard for you to show up here if you're not creating YouTube content. Um, it looks like Comme, Brady Sheer, and Rich Birch, which if we look, they just have websites. So you could, with YouTube content, outrank the website content because AI actually prefers long-form YouTube content. So you have the opportunity here to start creating the right videos for the right people to be the one that people, to be the one that AI references. So I am going to tell you, sorry, I'm realizing I'm learning this whole live thing, trying to make sure that you guys see everything that I'm trying to share with you here. So that's why I was looking at Tom Rayner, Brady Shearer, Rich Birch. So if you want to learn how you can start doing your YouTube channel, if you want to learn what is most important for you to do YouTube, because I'm gonna tell you, you do not need to be a YouTuber. You should not be following YouTuber advice, people who teach people how to go viral, be a YouTuber. That's not what's gonna get you showing up in ChatGPT and Perplexity. You've got to follow a specific strategy for business owners, and that's what I specialize in. That's what I'm gonna focus on at the Build Your Big Reputation virtual conference. I will pop up the link one more time to get your ticket here, trenalittle.com/rep. It is a one-day event, so one and done, from about 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, plenty of time to ask me questions. I'm gonna be doing a live coaching session as well where you can get your question answered and coached through, but I'm telling you, you don't have to chase the Instagram hamster wheel. You don't have to pump out more content. The more you waste your time on that, the slower your business leads are going to dry up because you aren't actively creating content where people are actively searching in 2026, which is AI. Okay, so make sure you grab your ticket. If you have a question about the conference, um, don't hesitate to reach out to me. Feel free to email me. I wanna know who here is coming, got their tickets, say I'm in. And if you've got any questions that you want me to answer right now, drop them in the chat. I am going to go ahead and start wrapping this up because I did wanna keep these about 15 minutes, but we're a little bit longer because I did wanna show you how my clients, because they're doing YouTube, one, they're getting referenced by GPT, they're getting referenced by AI, right? But two, they can take time off of posting and still get referenced by ChatGPT. They can still generate leads to their business without even creating content. Most of the time, if you stop creating content on Instagram, on TikTok, on Facebook, your leads dry up. Those platforms will not put you in front of people if you're not creating content. Whereas if you have solid YouTube videos, you can continue to get referenced not only by YouTube but by AI. All right, I thank you guys so much for being here. I am actually bringing this back next week, so we are gonna have another livestream next Tuesday about why you shouldn't be a YouTuber and why you should stop following YouTuber advice. So I'm keeping the series going next Tuesday, so hopefully I'll see you next Tuesday. And make sure you get your ticket for the Build Your Big Reputation virtual conference. And since it's my Friday, because I don't work on Fridays, have a great weekend, and I will see you all next week. Next week. Bye, everyone.
