YouTube Gurus Are LYING! What They Don’t Want Business Owners to Know

Trena Little argues that YouTube gurus push growth tactics that don't sell. Instead, focus on attracting buyers ready to purchase using a playlist funnel approach to generate consistent sales and leads for your business.
They're gonna hate me for telling you this, but I want business owners who are on YouTube to stop wasting their time on YouTube tactics that will never make you sales. YouTube gurus out there are lying to you business owners because they're telling you to focus on more views, getting subscribers, asking people to subscribe, and all the SEO tactics. But that is not what business owners should be focusing on when it comes to their YouTube strategy. Because I've seen firsthand time and time again, more views do not mean more sales for you. And the people that are teaching you how to grow on YouTube are not teaching you how to make sales to your business from YouTube. So right here, right now, stop following this YouTube guru's advice. I mean, if you want to make sales and book clients from your videos, because you need a completely different strategy they aren't sharing. And one that focuses on your ready to buy viewer, not just any viewer. One of the biggest myths out there time and time again when it comes to YouTube is the need to focus focus on SEO, search engine optimization, keyword research, ranking higher on search just to be successful on YouTube. But that is not what is going to make you sales. So if you want to continue focusing on their strategy, on their tactics, worrying about ranking and search engine optimization, go for it. But if you want to make videos that turn into sales, keep listening. When business owners focus on choosing and creating content, not viral trends, just for more views, they're able to drive higher quality viewers that turn into leads or customers or clients. I have a client that had under 500 subscribers making five figure months because she was focused on quality views that were her ready to buy viewer and not just getting more views on her channel. Because you do not need a million views. You need intent driven views that come from the right audience. And by intent driven, I mean people who are actively searching for the solution to the problem they're having. And your course, your services, your coaching program, your digital product should be that solution that's going to help them solve that problem. So why aren't YouTube gurus talking about this or not talking to business owners? They're focused on teaching people how to grow a YouTube channel. Specifically YouTubers. That's their business, helping other YouTubers be more successful. But you, you're trying to grow your business on YouTube. You don't need more views to make More Money on YouTube. You need the right views to sell more of your courses and book more clients. Right? Listen to me loud and clear when I say this. A strategy for a YouTuber, somebody who wants to be a YouTuber who doesn't have a business model is just making money off of YouTube and brand deals. And sponsorship is completely different than the strategy you as a business owner needs to be following. Because gurus will continue to tell people because they're speaking to YouTubers to create viral content. Here are the top 10 viral videos that you can do or 10 viral videos to create today or the viral video script to follow. They're focused on entertaining. Their focus on chasing subscribers. That is not what's going to get you conversions and sales. Because there's so much good news for you as a business owner on YouTube when you stop following all this guru's advice because you don't need all that fancy editing and cinematic transitions and B roll and text pop out. Because I mentioned you don't need to go viral to be making five figures on YouTube in your business. You need to be creating content that educates, builds trust and moves your audience towards buying from you. This is why so many business owners get overwhelmed with either the thought of YouTube or getting started on YouTube and completely burning out. They think they have to follow what full time YouTube creators are doing. But hey, we're not here to entertain. We're here to solve problems and make sales. You don't see my videos here super flashily edited or me juggling or doing all these things entertaining. I'm explaining to you what you need to be doing on YouTube to solve your problem. Your problem. Making more money in your business, right? Let me tell you why more views will not equal more money for you. I've seen the back end of so many YouTube channels. I used to work at video creators and I saw channels with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and they would struggle to make enough money to even pay their editors. While business owners that I currently work with in my YouTube coaching experience with under 5000 subscribers are making consistent sales every week. Every month they're making four to five figures from targeted content here on YouTube and they're only posting once a week. To get the results that you want on YouTube. Which if you're a business owner, I'm assuming you want to make sales, you need a YouTube strategy that focuses on quality, quality viewers over quantity. And the way I teach my clients inside the YouTube coaching experience is by building a YouTube playlist funnel. This funnel drives ready to buy viewers to their content through their video funnel and into their business, into their programs, into their courses, day in and day out. Yeah, I can say even while you sleep, if you want to build your playlist funnel on YouTube and make sure you have the right topics and you're building the right strategy for a business owner and not a YouTuber. You can absolutely join me in the YouTube coaching experience. You get one on one support and feedback from me. It's basically I'm your YouTube strategist for your business. You can go to trina little.com forward/coaching to learn more and join us today. So you could be building your playlist funnel in the next 48 hours. But I'm here today to tell you this is why business owners need to stop focusing on these YouTube growth hacks and start focusing on building a system that brings in leads and sales on autopilot and just posting can random off videos like they say to like pick your videos, come up with a list of ideas and post them. That is not a system that is going to lead to burnout and then it's not going to lead to consistent sales for you. The best way to lead to consistent sales, as I mentioned, is a playlist funnel. I want to touch base on what this playlist funnel is because most business owners waste so much freaking time building complicated sales funnels or email funnels or live webinars or evergreen webinars and stressing over posting more social content. But YouTube can replace all of that, which is one video a week. Think of YouTube videos. Each video you post as a new member to your marketing team. Every video you put out, when created right when the right topic is chosen, acts as a salesperson, educating, nurturing and leading people to buy your course and work with you 24 hours seven days a week. This can replace running highly expensive ads, posting daily on Instagram just to keep up or having to plan those big launches and hope you hit your number because you need to make that money or else you can't pay your bills. YouTube does the selling for you every single day. One of my clients was able to set up her first five video playlist funnel within six weeks of working with me. Within that second video being published, not only did she see her email list start to grow, she started to make sales from people that were finding her on YouTube and buying without a huge audience and without spending a single dime on ads. So if you're still relying on traditional marketing and you're playing the Instagram game and you're listening to the wrong YouTube advice, it's time to shift to a business owner YouTube first strategy. Now there's one more thing I want to talk about that YouTube gurus may tell you to do. And if they do run fast, and that's spending money on YouTube ads to grow your channel. Most business owners who rely on YouTube ads to grow their business end up losing massive amounts of money and hurting their channel for a very long time. In the future, if you're thinking about running ads on YouTube as the Easy button, or you already are, I'm going to break down exactly why YouTube ads will completely ruin your channel and what to do instead. In this video on your screen right now.
