Guide for Square Users: Optimize High-Traffic Hours with Per Diem's Busy Mode

Foreign. Today I'm going to be showing you how to set up the Busy mode on the Per Diem Merchant Dashboard. So the first thing you want to do when you log into your account is click on Operations to expand the menu and then click on Operational Times. It's going to take you to the Operational Times page and the first section you're going to see is the Busy Mode. So pretty much if you're experiencing high activity at a specific location and, and you need to extend the preparation time for incoming orders, all you need to do is just turn on the Busy mode. So you're going to be able to increase the prep time of of incoming orders. So you click on turn on Busy Mode and then the prep time is here. So the bit, the minimum amount is 15 minutes and you can increase that to 30 minutes, 45 minutes, even up to an hour. So I'm gonna set it at 45 minutes or 30 minutes and I'm going to select the location that I want to turn on the Busy mode for. Another thing to notice that the Busy mode automatically would be turned on and will expire after an hour. So I'm going to click Save and then it's going to show here that the busy time has been added. So the location is early locations. The Prep time is 30 minutes and its expiration is in about an hour. So right now, all the incoming orders for this store on this location from the mobile app will have a Prep time of 30 minutes each. So that is how you set up the Busy mode on the Per Diem Merchant Dashboard. Thank you.
