James Beard winner Don Guerra runs curbside pickup at Barrio Bagel and Slice in Gilbert, Arizona, using a first-party app where customers order bread in advance because items sell out fast. They recently added web-based ordering to reach customers who won't download the app.
Some of the cool uses we've adopted with our customers love is we have curbside pickup. We have five curbside pickup spaces so they'll order their bread in the morning because we sell out of bread every day. I'm Oren Malovinski with Barrio Bagel and Slice here at Gilbert, Arizona. Having the app as our primary ordering method. And when we come in, we'll see those per diem orders. The app orders starting to stack up, but it's all coordinated through the app, which we love. And now that the per diem has gone online as a web based option as well, it even has opened up to more of our customers who didn't feel comfortable downloading an app for whatever reason. So now there's no excuse.
