Michael Energie from tryperdiem.com walks coffee shop owners through the Per Diem Merchant Dashboard to set up app incentives. You can enable rewards for app downloads, sign-ups, and successful orders, and choose whether rewards apply only to first-time purchases. The dashboard lets you customize how rewards appear to customers.

Foreign. Hi, I'm Michael energie from tryper diem.com and today I'm going to be showing you how to set up app incentives on the per DM Merchant Dashboard. So the first thing you want to do when you log into your account is go to the side menu here and expand marketing and then go down to rewards. So you can see the app incentive area here, which is currently collapsed. So you want to expand that and then you get to see the events. So what the app incentive area allows you to do is to give customers a certain number of points when they perform certain actions. So the two events that you have here are app download and sign up and successful order. So when these are turned on, what it means is that you're going to be given a number of points when customers download the app and sign up, and you're also going to be given a number of points when a customer makes a successful order. The checkbox here for first successful order only means that you only give the points on their first successful order after signing up. As you can see, the label here says number of bins. That is because we take your loyalty terminology from square, which in this case, instead of it being called points, it's called bins. So that's why the label here says number of bins. But by default, if your reward terminology is called points, it's going to be reflected here as number of points. So all you have to do is turn it on or turn it off, depending on how you want your setup to look. This is how you can give points to your customers when they download and sign up on the mobile app or when they perform a successful checkout. And once you set it up, all you have to do is hit save and you're good to go. Thank you.
