Hey, everyone, I'm Tomer Malovinski, CEO and co founder of Per Diem, and welcome to Per Diem's weekly webinar. Today we're going to be talking about proven app strategies to improve your core metrics. So we'll be going through some of the key app metrics that you'll want to be tracking. At least have top of mind. And what are some strategies and some features that you can use to really help to build on those metrics? And ultimately, if you build on those metrics, at the end of the day, that's going to mean more revenue for you. Cool. So let's get going. We'll talk about in terms of agenda, we'll talk about daily active users and how that's important, how you can track that overall order volume, customer lifetime value. We'll notice clv, sometimes known as ltv, user retention rate, average order value, AOV and then conversion rate. And then if needed, we'll jump in, we can show you a few features and how we utilize them in the app. So cool. So restaurants that leverage data, they end up experiencing their customers experience a 20 to 30% bump in customer satisfaction. And that's because you can pinpoint where things are going well and where things are going less well. So basically, when you're on top of your data, you know it's working, you know it's not working, and therefore your customers tend to be happier. So Amazon, obviously, they're the kings of this in terms of like the whole Internet world, but today, every company does this. And so it's not just measuring, though your CSAT totals, your customer service success surveys, but it's measuring everything. If your conversion rates are down, if your daily Actives are down in your app, then, you know, maybe there are some things that you can do to tweak that. And it's good to be on top of that. And ultimately your business and your service should benefit as a result. So, increasing daily Active. So let's jump into a few strategies that we can use. I think first and foremost, it's app merchandising. So you want more people to use your app. A, it's to get them to download the app. So one of our customers here, wake Coffee, they're in Philly. You can see this awesome, you know, sandwich board here. It sticks out. Good design, clean QR code has a benefit. And so that's a great way to do it. We send you guys postcards, window decals and WI fi cards when you go live to help you promote it as well and then obviously all your digital channels. So your website's going to be first and foremost. So social media and then email is probably going to be your most effective channel in terms of getting direct downloads and like a big hit. And typically you're going to want to leverage some sort of offer or deal or something like that, at least when you're starting the campaign. So app merchandising, this is really number one. We have a whole launch playbook that goes deep into this and best practices on your, on your website and best practices for email and what you should be doing in terms of indoor signage. So we have a lot of that and you can check it out on our website. SMS onboarding so one of the thing that's built into per diem is just a really smooth onboarding process. Nobody wants to put in a password these days. Passwords are done. And if you have an app with a password then you should be ashamed of yourself. Basically today it's either social law through Apple or Google or you put in your phone number, you get a text message back, you're in the app. It's easy. The benefit of per diem of going through social auth when someone registers, then we pre fill their name because we get that from either Apple or Google. So it saves them a step in the process. And so but SMS really streamlines the whole, the whole process here. And any app that doesn't have SMS in today's world, a they're open to fraud because SMS makes sure that it's, it's verified and when people are just using emails and that can easily be defrauded and then it's just a lot smoother. You never have to like change your screen. You get texted, it auto fills the code, boom, you're in. And then the best thing about an app everyone is that once people are in, they never have to log in again. That's the biggest differentiator in terms of retention for app users is once you're in, you're in. It's not like a website where it's like I was in on a different browser, not on this one. So I need to remember what my password was, reset my password. You don't have to go through any of that. And even if you did, let's say you deleted your app Somehow again, SMS1 SMS, you're in, you're good to go. So that's huge. And there's nothing you need to do. It's just something that's built in that's going to help you along the way. And then another way to build those daily actives is just to let people know what to expect. So as part of the onboarding process with per diem, you can also customize, you know, your, your entry screen so you tell people, hey, you're going to be able to order ahead, you're going to get rewards and you're going to be able to view all your orders and just easily repeat, put in repeat orders. So again, onboarding is critical. Most people don't get beyond the onboarding stage. So if you're a coffee shop and you have an app, an existing app or whatever that isn't per diem, and trust me, we've seen them, their onboarding is not good. I was at product manager at Resi and opentable and we worked on initiatives like this, moving from email to SMS. The percentages are in the 10 digits in terms of increase in conversion and people getting into your app and ultimately it's just something that you're going to want to do. So that first time experience is really important and it really sets the tone for the whole engagement with you and your store. So moving on, boosting order volume. So promo codes, I mean this is I think the most clear and concise way to really leverage increasing order value. I'm sorry, increasing order volume. Hey, download our app, put in an order or hey, send out a push notification to everybody on a Wednesday, on a whatever, on, on your slowest day of the week, $2 this afternoon. That's obviously going to increase your order volume. So you could see brands that implement promo codes can see an average increase in sales of 10 to 20%. We've even had stores that have given away free product and their net sales went up week over week because the element of giving something free, people ultimately want to pay for something too because okay, you gave me a free pastry or something like that, but yeah, now I want a cup of coffee to go with that pastry. So even giving free things can actually bump your sales and, and your ordering volume. But you know, typically what we see is like, you know, coffee shops, hey, it's like a two dollar coupon code, something like that, or this is happy hour, you set up in square to give double points so you can, you can build in things like that. But I think promo codes, and then once you set a promo code that can be an evergreen code so you can use that in all your promotional materials saying, hey, download our app, use promo code, first order, get $5 off your first purchase, as long as it's over X amount Cool. So that's kind of a no brainer category discount. So I've mentioned this a lot but Square offers the ability to offer category discounts. So if you have a category Chip City, for instance, all their cookies, they've set up a discount where you could do a buy five, get one free. And so you guys can do bogo deals, you can do any type of deal. But again this is kind of built into the app. This is the nice thing about this is there's no friction, right? So I put in six cookies into the Chip City app automatically on checkout, one of them gets discounted and I don't have to do anything. So the second I know that offers there, then anytime I want that I'm having friends over or you know, my kid's birthday party, whatever it is, I know I can go in there and get six cookies, boom, order them and I'll get one free. So that's obviously going to be top of mind. And so that's just another good one Again in terms of increasing order volume, high quality images. So this is going to help around the, around the horn but, but definitely once somebody logs into your app going to want to put your best foot forward. That's a no brainer. And so if you don't have great images today, we've talked about this before, you can use AI to generate images for you. We have plenty of stores that use AI images and yeah, they actually do pretty well. So as long as you're still giving good product, I will say that the best apps in terms of ordering volume, you know, they, they've taken some time, they've taken good images. We can show you a few examples after this. But you want to show that drink. Typically I'll see the branding on the cup of coffee on like the more professional ones and so, but yeah, here you can see a great one from Nirvana Soul. And obviously the better the pictures, the more, the more easily you're going to convert those users and more of those products that you're going to sell. So if you have some products that don't have pictures, the ones that do have pictures are just going to sell more. So you should know that. And ideally you should just have pictures for everything even if you're generating it from AI or even if you're taking some stock imagery from Canva. We offer you guys stock imagery if you want to use it. But having a little captivating photography really, really helps customer lifetime value. So how do you get people coming back over and over and over again? This is really important. Something that's not super easy to, to, to measure. But, but one thing, one tried and true strategy to do that is to get people to invest in, in store credit. We set it up by default in the app as like pay 45, get 50. So the way you need to think about this, it's, it's a punch card. You know, it's if, if you're paying $45, assuming that a cup of coffee is $5, even though today it might be a little bit more, a little whatever. But basically when I'm paying 45 and getting 50, basically I'm prepaying for a punch card. I pay for my first nine cups up front and then I get my 10th one for free. Right. And so that's a great way, you know, obviously tied to loyalty, but that's a great way where over time I'm obviously my frequency is going to be going up and therefore my lifetime value with me, with you as a, with my lifetime value as, as your customer is going to go up the more I'm ordering from you guys. And then offering some sort of incentive around store credit, I think really makes that really makes that work. Square loyalty. So on top of that just having a loyalty program so we integrate directly with Square loyalty. So if you're already using square loyalty, great, now people can see their points and that similar to a punch card, similar to the store credit, that's going to serve as an extra incentive for me to then want to go and order more from you and get more points. If you know, depending on what your point program is, but then you know, you have a tiered program. I know I'll get a free drink or a free waffle or whatever it is when I hit a hit a certain amount. That's a great way to, that's a great hook to keep me coming back. And obviously these two tools, both the store credit and the loyalty component is what Starbucks and their app has become known for. And we've replicated all those in partnership with Square, obviously integrating with them and then building our own tools as well, such as the promo codes, such as the store credit again integrated with Square but for the app specifically birthday rewards. So this is offered through Square and then, but you can also offer it through the app and obviously giving somebody a personalized reward. So we, we give you the ability to send a push notification on someone's birthday and they get a promo code with a limited time offer to celebrate their birthday. So great way you can see here birthday treats have been shown to Increase retentions rates by 25 to 30%. And yeah, I think it's, it's a tried and true strategy. And I think with the app where we've really upped the game is now you can send a push notification. It's not an email. I don't have to figure out where I'm logging in, whatever. I'm just like, push in, enter promo code B day and I'm good to go. So easy to turn on that feature. It's just under the push notification, push notification section under marketing User retention rate. So this is all about how do you get people just to come back over and over and I should say user retention the best way. Like you've already, if, if you have a mobile app then you've already taken the biggest step because making it really easy for your customers to order from you is the top step. Aside from all these features and stuff like that, just having that core thing that boom, my phone. I can tap one button, I don't have to log in. I'm in your app. My favorite order is right there. Two taps, Apple Pay and I'm done. I get my points. And then by the way, when I walk in, my coffee is sitting there with a ticket and my name on it. That is how you're going to increase retention more than anything. But we're going to dive into more strategies as well. So like I said, the user experience, your app needs to feel like a modern app. Your app cannot look like it's a website from the 90s. That is not going to work with today's crowd. Everybody today is used to using DoorDash and tick tock and a million different apps. All these gaming apps that have so much interaction that if your app is slow, if it's clunky, if you need email password, if people need to physically enter their credit card number, you are going to lose out. And those people, we've already seen people that have bad apps that move to per diem, their order, their total volume goes up 25% in even when they have less customers. So we just had an example of someone where they, they still haven't gotten older old app users to the, to the new app. Actually half of their app users and their sales are already up 25%. So having a great user experience is so important. And that includes speed, that includes ux. When I tap a button, weird stuff don't happen. Extra screens that are asking for, you know, whatever, all that, you know. And that's again getting back into the SMS onboarding stuff. Like that. Those are core things. If I now have to dig into my email and do a reset password and go to some website to re, you're going to lose that person 10 out of 10 times, I can guarantee it. So user experience, make sure you're evaluating that. It's one of the key criterias in mobile app development with that push notification. So one of the best tools that's ever been developed in terms of marketing, especially in today's world, are push notifications. This is your brand on top of it, right? So it's your logo. It's literally coming on the home screen of someone's phone. Most people are going to have your push notifications turned on because they want to get those order statuses. So this is really. As long as you're sending tasteful messages, you're not abusing it, you're not spamming people because they can easily just turn it off, you know. But this is a great way. And obviously we have built in push notifications into the system, but really the way to do this is the marketing. Push notifications, right? So every week, maybe you have a, you know, or it doesn't have to be every week. Tika Shack does it every week they have Tika Tuesday where you can go in and order 10. I mentioned them every week, but they're worth mentioning. And yeah, and they send out these push notifications just to remind those people. So you can schedule these ahead of time. Usually I recommend if you are sending a push notification with some sort of promotion, then also to set up a banner in the app to reinforce the promotion. Because the one thing you need to know about push notifications, it's the best thing you can do in terms of direct response marketing. Better than email, better than social, better than anything. Once they tap that notification, no, it's gone. So you're going to want to reinforce it. Especially if you have a promo code. You know, for Tika Shack, it's not a big deal. They just say, hey, pick any entree and you're good to go. So they have like the category discount. But if it's like, hey, you got to put in Tika 10 promo code, which they don't do, but if you did, which a lot of people do, then once I tap that notification, that promo code is going to be gone. I'm going to forget that promo code and then I might not convert because, damn, I could have gotten 10, $5 off whatever, and now I'm not. So I might not purchase. So just reinforce it with the banner. It's really easy to do. So yes, customer order feedback. So we've built this into the app. It's really just important to be on top of your customers if things don't go right, if they had to wait a long time for their order, if they got something wrong. So we automatically send you guys if you get a one or two star review. And keep in mind these are only in the app, this is only internal. But if you get a one or two star review, we'll automatically send you an email letting you know that you just got a one or two star review and you can go to that, that customer and you can see and you can figure out what happens. Our best shops are maniacal about this feature because if something goes wrong, they're so on top of it and then making sure that it's gets right. And in a lot of ways I think that's what you know, in addition to other things. But that great customer service, the fact that they're not willing to have a bad experience at their store and that they're on top of it, making sure that person is, you know, they're gonna, the next, you know, they're not gonna have a sour taste in their mouth and which means that they're gonna end up ordering from you again. My brother's restaurateur, he always used to tell me he wouldn't necessarily want to comp people for their meal, but he would want to invite them back in, give them a gift card if they're, if they had a poor experience. Hey, I'm so sorry that desserts took a long time tonight. Here's something to come back in. Instead of, you know, comping taking a bunch of food off their check because you always want to bring that person back in and have the chance to win them over again. And so really being on top of this again, you don't have to give people money, you don't have to refund people, but you just have to make things right and you have to make them feel like it's right. And the customer feedback form enables you to do that with your app orders aov. So this might be one of the more important thing, especially if you already have something going. How do you now take, you know, your X amount of app users that you get every day, every week into your app? How do you get them to spend a little bit more? Keep in mind just the fact that you have the app, just the fact that you have square loyalty, that you have all these things, they're going to help you do this if people are buying store credit from you, then their average order value is going to go up. Just because it's like, I got 50 bucks in the app. Yeah, maybe I'll get the croissant today. Right. So that's just a part of the thought process. So a lot of things we've already talked about will help, but we have features designed specifically to help you here as well. So upselling this is a no brainer. Once you're in the dashboard, select the items you want to upsell and basically if that item is not already in your cart, then we will show it. We haven't yet sprinkled all the data science on it, but that's going to be coming in the future where we'll be able to say, oh, people that order this thing also ordered this thing. And then we can recommend certain elements. But we're waiting to put our AI hat on for that one. But this is a, this is a great strategy. It works, it's, it's great. It makes sense. Also, you can sell merch here if you want. Like if you have T shirts or cups or hats, it's a great place to sell merch as well. Build your box feature. So this is another great one. Hey, you know, I mentioned Chip City. They had the buy five get one free. The build your box feature is what we've built it for, like bagel shops and donut shops and, and bakeries. And you can do like a box of 12 something, right? Something like that. And it just makes it really smooth. We can set up your modifiers in a way where you can see here you can just select how many you want. So let's say I'm doing a box of cookies. Ice cream might not make as much sense that we have in the, in the screenshot here, but imagine a box of cookies. Hey, let's do a pack of, of 12, right? Let's do, let's do a baker's dozen. Give you 13. And so you'll be able to tap the modifiers. Chocolate chip, you'll be able to add three of those. White chocolate, you'll be able to add four of those. And you'll be able to build your box and basically check out with that. Obviously with those, the whole build your box thing, you're going to be able to charge more. You'll probably have it at a discounted price, right? But you'll be able to charge more because people are buying more volume. So that's a cool feature that we added a month or two ago and it's getting a lot of play, like I said, with bakeries. So another good one to add and then spin the wheel. So we've been adding some gamification. We've been adding a little fun into the app. This is based on spending threshold. So and, and I've seen different apps that tell people, hey, spend over a certain amount and then win double points, get to, get to spin the wheel. So basically what happens here, you set up the criteria, you set up the threshold on the back end. You say, hey, if you spend more than $20, then you have a chance to win again. And this is tied to square loyalty, so you'll have a chance to win extra points. You set how many points they can win, you set the percent chance that they have to win each one of those. And then basically they spin the wheel, they have some fun, and all is good. So again, some fun gamification, a nice way to get people to spend more. You know, I was going to check out for 15. Well, I can get some extra points. Hey, maybe I'll throw on an extra drink, some french fries. I don't know if you're a coffee shop, maybe that's not relevant, but I think you get the point. And so you'll want to set this, I don't know, maybe, probably you take your average order value, add like 20 or 30% on that. You know, if your average order value is 10 bucks, maybe set that like $15 and see if people can stretch. And you know, it's not going to be everybody, but there will be a few people that buy an extra croissant. And so awesome order conversion rate. So this is again, something that's going to be hard for you to measure, but basically what we're talking about are all the people that go into your app and then the people that order. So what I can say is across the board in per diem, we have today in the hundreds of apps, but our average order rate is in the mid-30s in terms of percentage. And I was a product manager both at OpenTable and Resi, which it's a little bit different. Not ordering, it was reservations. But what I can say is that our conversion rate was similar in the app. It was above 30%. And then on the web it was typically lower for a lot of the reasons that I mentioned before because people aren't logging in and that, that, that, that, that and plus also in the app, you tend to get your best users that are using your app. So they, they're like, you know, they're the hardcore people so they're going to order more. So first and foremost, seamless checkout, right? So we integrate with Apple Pay. You don't have to do anything. Google Pay too, if it's an Android phone. But really, I think when I've checked, it's been more than 60% of people check out with Apple Pay with our apps. And so it just makes it so much easier because I don't have to add a new credit card now. Not to mention it's a lot more secure. So you can see merchants using Apple Pay have seen a conversion rate increase up to 250%. I mean, that's ridiculous. But if you think about why, it's pretty simple. Hey, I get to the checkout page and now I gotta go get my physical credit card and now I gotta enter in all those 16 digits. And in today's world, that's just like, I don't know, I just got another call or I got a push notification from, you know, New York Times saying, the world's gonna blow up. I lose my, my, my thought process. And I'm not purchasing that now. Apple Pay gets rid of that because it's already stored in there. You tap a button, you're good to go. So this is really just. And if, and by the way, it's amazing for the, for the app, but you should make sure too on your other properties as well that you're enabling Apple Pay and you should have that if you're enabling online ordering on your website, so forth and so on. Abandoned cart notifications. So I checked in again. I got that New York Times push notification. The world's gonna explode. Hey, by the way, this is the wrong push notification in the picture, but we have built in abandoned cart notifications, let's say, and you can customize them with your own language. Hey, did you forget something? Da, da, da. These things work. You know, you can see push notifications help recurve 30% of abandoned carts. So these things work. And built right into the app, all you gotta do, they're on by default. So again, this is just going to help you convert more of those people who went astray. Rewards and incentives. So we already talked about square loyalty. But when I have my points and I can get more points and, you know, or I have whatever it is, if there's a goal, there's always going to be a higher chance for me to convert. Those are things that obviously, you know, I want to get my points. I want to, you know, again, I used to work at Open Table. We used to give People, it was ridiculous because they were spending like 150 on dinner and we give them, I think like 100 points, which is worth $1, I think. But people would go crazy for their points. People really like, it was important to them and over time those points accrue. So, you know, and you guys are building out in square loyalty and I think you're being, I see all your rewards programs, they're very thoughtful and I think very fair. And then at the end of the day this helps, you know. So these are the types of things, hey, and we by the way, let people pay with points through the app. You can also give people extra points when they sign up for the app. So that's another way to increase convert. Oh, I just got 10 points. All right, cool. And so obviously having this types of incentive program helps a lot. And then through square you can even boost this more because you can say, hey, every Wednesday at 2 o' clock it's double points until the end of the day. And then you set that up in square and then you send that push notification out in per diem and boom, hey, people are going to go and order more now and your conversion is going to go up because there's a good deal. So you can see a lot of these things are kind of like interwoven a lot of these metrics. And so it's, you know, to get more app users, you're going to have to do, you're going to initially essentially do things that will help you with conversion and stuff like that. And that's all a part of it. Like you get new app users, you have a good hook. That hook also helps you convert more users. But these are the metrics, all in all, that most, I would say not just, you know, large enterprises, but a lot of tech companies when they're evaluating their app, especially if they're in E commerce or some sort of sale, whether you're door dash or as I mentioned, I was at Open Table and resi. These are some of the core metrics that we look at. And so yeah, those are just some strategies that you all can put together. There are many more, by the way. It's not limited to that, but the idea of this webinar is just to get you all thinking about that. So I'll pause for a second to see if there are any questions and if not, we can hop in and just see a few examples of how this works. So I'll share my screen, Share my whole desktop. Can you guys see my phone now? Yes. Awesome. So this is our demo app. I'll just show you guys really quickly what our onboarding experience looks like so that everyone can see. But basically once I go, this is our little test area. So square mobile app, that's our, our demo app. So I'm going to go and download. So this is as if I'm downloading the app from the app Store, right? So first thing is going to be our logo and then we're going to have three screens that you can customize or I can skip these screens and then I'm right in. And again I can go social auth or boom, 703, everybody knows my phone number. And then I'm going to go ahead and get that boom, allow, allow. I'm good. And so that's first and foremost. Then you can see we have this pop up banner in the app. This is good. Again, if you have some sort of promotion or something like that here we're showing a video. It's more about the capability. So but nonetheless I'll just go ahead and dismiss that. Here you can see get up to 20% bonus spend when you add store credits. So you can add banners like this in the app. And then I'll just go to the store credit page and then you can see here we even have a. Yeah, buy 40, get 50. So I'll just go ahead and do that, go through Apple Pay and then awesome. I have another $50 of spending. And again there's this weird psychological thing where the more money you have loaded, the cheaper things appear, right? So you know, cold brew tea, $5. I got all this money, you know, like I have all this, all this credit, you know, so let's just, let's throw a muffin on there, right? So I went ahead and threw a muffin on as well because it's like now I'm checking out, it's like I have $82 in store credit. So if you guys give people good incentives and then they have a lot of money, they're going to end up ordering a lot more. Right. So I think that's kind of a no brainer. All right. We can, and this is part of the user experience, right? You can add like fun, personal, kind of like quirky messaging on the checkout screen. And then here you can see this is, we're going to send people order notifications as well. You can see we got your order, it's in. And then. Yeah, and so that's, I think, you know, you saw, there are a few different ways, hey, I got this store credit so that's going to help me increase conversion. The onboarding was super easy. In this case, I actually had store credit and it was really easy to check out with store credit again, I didn't need to add a credit card or anything like that, but otherwise I would have just had Apple pay. So that you can see, that's one example right there. I mentioned Chip City, so let's just take a look. Carol Gardens. Oh, they might not be open yet. Let's see. So let's go add six of these cookies. And then you can see I got this automatic buy five, get one free setup. So this is across the board with Chip City. If you order on their website, it's this way. If you go in store, it's this way. But it's just something that's supported in the app and then you can market in the app as such. So that's a great example there, I think Coffee Dose, what happened there? There we go. Coffee Dose, they just have great. I mean, their marketing is amazing. And you can see, you know, just they're not afraid to kind of like, you know, push things a little bit. And so I think that's great. And. But you can see their images are out of this world. Right? They probably have like, you know, the best coffee imagery out there. And with that background, it's on the counter. It just looks really nice. We have a number of stores that do this really well, but I think Coffee Dose, they kind of like really do, you know, win in terms of imagery and just branding and stuff like that. But even here, if I go into Kona, you'll see they have beautiful pictures as well. Here's that Hawaiian latte. That looks amazing. Their latte, nice clean background. You can see. So you can see putting a little background on your images. You don't have to do this, but it adds a little bit. I guarantee you that they sell more cortados than macchiatos just by having that image there. So, again, just making sure that you have images for everything will be super helpful. Polka Dot, it's a restaurant here in Brooklyn. You can see they're saying, hey, get double loyalty points. Spend a minimum 10 bucks and play. Play roulette. So you can see how they're promoting that there, hitting grounds. They're pushing certain products. They're really pushing their. Their sugar brew here, the. The brown sugar brew. So that's a great, you know, great way to do that. I think they have a pretty good deal on store Credit. Yeah. Pay 25, get 35. That's a really good deal. And so obviously, as I mentioned, hey, if I get that, that bonus every time, that's going to be nice. So that's, that's nice as well. Yeah, I think those are a few examples of some, some folks that are doing it really well. And then I'll just show you guys really quickly. Jump into that live demo. And so in per diem itself, there's going to be a number of things that you can do. A, you'll be able to track things on your dashboard so you can see, you know, how you're doing. If you're running a promotion, how that's going as well. So first and foremost, you're going to be able to choose what items you want to promote on your homepage. So, hey, I really want to move my coffee items. So let's promote all these. They're going to appear in my carousel. Especially if those, as I mentioned, if they have, if you have good images around them and stuff like that. We talked about upselling. You can add that right here. You want to upsell an item, Boom, you just upsell it right there. Store credit. So we talked about this is how you create new plans and then you're able to view all your transactions who purchase store credit. And so here, create a plan. So usually we just do like a pay 45, you know, get 50 type of deal. And then so all I'm doing here is putting five with a discount of $5. And then I would add that. So there we go with that. I think on the marketing side, this is a lot of what we talked about. So to support some of the different marketing that you have, posting announcements, posting banner ads in the app. Again, banners in the app to help support all the promotions that you're doing. Creating custom coupon codes. So, hey, let's create a coupon. This one won't be a birthday code, but like I said, hey, let's do first order, right? It's five bucks. We can do a minimum spend or we don't do a minimum spend, you know, and then we say, hey, this never expires. So it's basically an evergreen. And then everybody can use it once, right? And let's use it at all our locations. Or I could do it just if I'm opening up a new location, I could just do it at that location. And so everybody gets their first order at that location for free. So that's a great way to build up kind of new store sales, if you will. And then you would just save that. You can see we Already have a bunch of these here on the reward side. So you can see a. You can upload your own, like, icon and stuff like that if you have it set up in square. That way you can give people extra points after their first purchase, after they download the app. So that's another nice incentive, our referral program. So you can send people. It's kind of like Uber Robin Hood where you send people your page. They go there. If they download the app from that page, we track them, and then we're able to give both them and you extra points after their first purchase. So that's really nice. And then as I mentioned, the spin the wheel. So here basically, hey, anybody spends above 20, and then here's the chances that they can. That they have to basically get extra points. And you can set how many points you want to. You want to give them. So again, that's a fun kind of thing. And then you can preview how it looks. You can customize the look and all that good stuff. Push notifications. So as I mentioned, you can create a notification. By default, it's going to go to all your users, or if you're really advanced and you have groups set up in square, then you can go ahead and select those groups. You go ahead and schedule your notifications. We have some templates here you could throw in. You'll probably want to create your own one. But just. And then, okay, this is going out Friday at 11:30. Let's do a little preview action. All right, looks great. And so then I'll just go ahead and hit send and that's going to schedule it. And then you can see that scheduled for, for Friday. So I have my promo going. And then just one tap and you can cancel. So easy enough. And so those are the outbound notifications again. If you want to set up a birthday notification, that's going to be under dynamic. And so same deal is to go to all your customers, or you can just send to your best customers and then you'll create that unique promo code and then we'll just insert it here. So you can insert the promo code and then on their birthday, obviously, like, hey, happy birthday. Right? And then they can use that code to get a $5 discount. So that's cool. And then all the order status notifications and all that stuff, that again, just as a part of the great user experience that people should get. Hey, your drinks. We're making it. It's in process. It's almost ready. So you can customize all that language. You can add your own flair. If you don't physically mark those items as, like, in progress and stuff in square, then you can turn on the autocomplete and we'll do it for you. So we'll automatically send out those notifications and then all the advanced stuff, hey, your cart misses you. Bringing back lapsed users, all that stuff. And these are all automated notifications. So, yeah, I think that's a lot of it. And yeah, I know it's a packed, packed house. Packed, packed. A couple of insights there, but hopefully something sticks. And I think at the end of the day, again, you've already taken the biggest step. The fact that you have an app, the fact that you're thinking about an app now, you can leverage different strategies, different features, and really try to drive those, those core metrics. You don't have to have like a dashboard in front of you, you know, gauging every day. But I think if you're doing those things, generally those things are going to move up. So again, you don't need to be some mad scientist that's like a B testing everything. But I think at the end of the day, if you do enough of this, then you should start seeing some good results in the app because the app does most of the work for itself and it really just sets you and your baristas and everyone in your store up for success. So, again, thanks so much, everyone, for joining us this week. We had a blast. We'll be back next week with more. And that's it. Have a good week, everyone. Bye now.
