What's the ultimate goal? Do you have like a singular goal in mind, or is it kind of just like you're doing what you love and it's kind of working itself out as you progress doing what you enjoy?
No, you know what's really cool is, uh, I always used to say like, oh, I want to be one of the greatest ever. And then I would hear Andrew say, I want to be the best ever. And I was like, ah, I wish I had that kind of confidence. And it took a long time because I'm kind of like, um, it was like a model minority for, uh, the entertainment business. Which is kind of what I spoke about earlier. Hey, I've been oppressed, I've been this, I've been that, and I never really wanted to play that game. So it took me a really long time to get anything. Like most people, like most of my friends, most of my peers got agents and started headlining clubs like 2011, 2010, 2012. I didn't get one until 2019, right before the pandemic, like late 2019. Oh well, I had— I was way behind in terms of being able to go out and do these weekends on the road And then when I finally started to get those, I was like, oh, I— not only am I becoming a much better comic every time, I'm seeing the potential I have and how I can get there. And now I think like, oh, I think it's possible to be the best ever. It's not an impossibility. It doesn't— and now that's what I want. So that's kind of my singular obsession right now. Is I want to be the best to ever do this. I don't know if I'm gonna be your greatest ever, I don't know if you're gonna— I'm gonna be— it's gonna be unanimous, but I'm— I have potential to get in that fucking discussion at the very least, so that's what I'm going after.
