Dan Martell, who coaches eight- and nine-figure CEOs, argues that most people who want to be millionaires aren't ready for it. Family drama, bad spending, and emotional fallout can destroy new wealth fast. The real problem isn't making money, it's the mindset and habits you need before it arrives.

I coach like significant 8, 9-figure CEOs. People will look at their life and wish they had it. And what's fun for me is I know for a fact if they had it, they would be completely crippled. Like most people want money. They actually don't know what to do with the money. It's so funny. People are like, oh, I wish I was a millionaire. It's like, no, you don't because you don't know how to deal with your family's reaction to it. You don't know how to manage it. So you're going to lose it. You're going to get depressed because you're going to lose half of it right off the bat because you're going to waste it on something stupid. Like people think they want things, but if they actually could play this like game of, all right, let's simulate this. Let's give it to you, but you are still who you are. You are not ready for that level of success because if you were, you'd have it in your life because you don't tells me you're not ready. So, go get ready to be able to get it.
