In this Business Blast Podcast episode, host Tyler Wagner interviews Jacqueline Pirtle, an energy healer, mindfulness and happiness coach, and author of the book 365 Days of Happiness. Jacqueline shares that happiness is an inherent part of each person—"you are happiness and happiness is you"—and emphasizes the need to commit to it as a daily practice. She recounts how writing her book transformed her perspective, reinforcing the belief that consistent happiness is possible year‑round. Her business advice centers on following one’s heart in decision‑making, trusting feelings, and graciously saying no when something doesn’t feel right. When asked about the key to happiness, she outlines a three‑part framework: (1) practicing pressure‑free happiness without expectations, (2) maintaining a resistance‑free, appreciative attitude toward people and circumstances, and (3) creating a healthy happiness environment across body, mind, soul, and consciousness. Jacqueline cites Esther and Abraham Hicks and Bruce Lipton as major influences, highlighting the message that individuals are in charge of their feelings and life direction. Her favorite quote, "If in doubt, choose happiness," serves as a simple, actionable mantra. Listeners are directed to her online presence at freakyhealer.com, where her book, website, and social media channels are available.

Alright everyone, welcome back to another episode of the Business Blast Podcast. I'm your host Tyler Wagner. Today I have Jacqueline Pirtle with us. She is an energy healer, mindfulness and happiness coach, and author of 365 Days of Happiness. So welcome to the show, Jacqueline.
Thank you so much for having me. I'm excited to be here.
Of course, and we're excited to have you on. We'll dive into the first question. The first question I have for you, Jacqueline, is what is the best story from your life that has an underlying valuable message?
Well, honestly, there are many stories and you're asking me to choose one. So what I'd like to say is there are many stories and they're all always related to being happy. So that's the message really. So, you know, every time I have a physical symptom, you know, a pain or something, it's really the story boils down to that me not being happy and me not being myself and feeling the best. I'm really committing to feeling good. And every time there's a situation that's maybe not feeling so good, it boils down to I lost my track with being happy. And the biggest story, I guess, that adds to that would be writing my book, 365 Days of Happiness, which really, really changed me. And the message really is it's possible to be happy 365 days a year.
Yes. And what is the most valuable piece of information we should know that is within your expertise or industry?
Well, what I teach, share, and what I apply on my own, and what I found, is that really you are happiness and happiness is you. So you are already happiness and happiness is already you. It's like the best package deal ever because it's always there. So, and in order to really reach it, you have to commit to being happy. You have to make it really a priority, and you have to practice it like an art, right? It's an art, it's a lifestyle that you want to have, and then you have to really go out there and be it fully and completely, completely, and really indulge in it, right?
And what's your best piece of overall business advice, so not necessarily industry specific?
Well, overall business is really to follow your heart. You know, like when you, when you have a decision to make in your business, to really ask yourself, is this in my heart? Does this feel good to me? Right? Because when you do that, then you, you, I promise you that you will always do the right thing and success is right around the corner because it's aligned with who you really are. So when it feels good, go for it. When it doesn't, it's okay. And it's good to say no thank you with gratitude. No thank you. Because it opens up the doors for then the next good thing that really is fitting for you to come in.
And if you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would that be?
Relax, breathe, don't sweat the small stuff, and simply just be happy. Because that's really the ultimate goal in this physical experience, to really Enjoy life.
Yes. And then this next question I am most excited to ask you. In your opinion, what is the key to happiness?
That's a good question. The key, the basis of being happy to me is really 3 things. It's first of all, to practice pressure-free happiness. Happiness shows up in many shapes, in many ways, and many types and forms, right? To lose all expectations of how it has to to be, right? Because I mean, if you have a good cry and that's a good cleaning right there energetically, that can be happiness. If you're angry and, you know, use this forceful energy to go get something done, like, I don't know, mow the lawn or something, that is happiness, right? And to receive a smile is happiness, or then to really be joyful is happiness. It really is a pressure-free practice of happiness. The second one would be to basically be resistance-free for anything or anybody that is in your awareness. And it's really to accept, respect, appreciate, thank, and love everything and everyone that is going on in your life right now. To not judge and to really get out of that resistance-free space to do your next step. And the third one will be to create a healthy happiness environment in your whole being, because you are a physical body, you're a mind, you're a soul, and your consciousness, right? And each of those components has different needs to really create a healthy happiness environment. I could go deeper into it, but I don't know if we're going over on time.
And then besides your own, I suppose, what is the best book that you've read and what was the number one thing you learned from that?
Well, I love everything that Esther Hicks, Abraham Hicks writes and, you know, videos and everything from Bruce Lipton. I love this guy's humor. He's just incredible. And I mean, both of them have A lot of messages, but the biggest message that comes out of it and that I absolutely stand for and use in my life too is that you are in charge of everything. You're in charge of how you feel, you're in charge of how you want to feel, you're in charge of how your life is going. You are in charge and to take responsibility for that and say, that's— it's my life. I'm gonna make it superb, you know.
And what is your favorite quote and why?
My favorite quote is, "If in doubt, choose happiness." And it's my favorite quote because it's so simple and it always works. I mean, if I don't feel good, I choose happiness, right? I create something that's amazing for me, or I focus on my breathing, which is life, and so grateful and whatnot. So if in doubt, choose happiness works for me really, really well.
Yes. Thank you so much for coming on. The last question I have for you before we let you go is where's the best place for people to find you online?
Well, thank you for having me. This has been fun. And you can find me at freakyhealer.com. And that's my website. And my book is on Amazon or on my website. And I'm on each, you know, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, all under freakyhealer.com. Or Freaky Healer, the name. Yeah.
