Alright everybody, welcome back to the Business Blast Podcast. I am with Joe Durovaj. He is the owner of Myrtle Beach DJs. Are you ready, Joe?
I'm ready, Tyler. How you doing?
I'm awesome. Thanks for hopping on. I appreciate it. So question number 1 is, what's your best piece of business advice?
Best piece of business advice would be that building relationships with my customers, Tyler.
And what's the number one thing you do to increase productivity?
Well, it's a thing that just pretty much bringing on new customers here at the beach. In my business within the entertainment, it's really not increasing, you know, any products and like that. It's just, you know, getting my name out there and letting them know what we can do to take care of their clients.
Totally, totally. And so hopefully that this will match then. What's your favorite online business tool? Do you have one, or maybe it's more like in person?
I would say probably I use, you know, Facebook more than anything. Okay.
And what's your number one tip for increasing your physical health?
My physical health? Yeah. Is riding my bike.
Okay. And what's your number one tip for increasing your mental health?
Mental health? I think the number one thing for me is finding time just to relax my brain during the day. It just seems like I'm working 24/7.
And in your opinion, what's the key to happiness?
Key to happiness is family.
And if you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Probably when I was a little bit younger to spend more time with my family. I appreciate things a lot more now.
I'm with you on that. Family is really big for me as well. And next question is, what's the best business book you've read and what was the number one thing you learned from it?
I don't know. I really don't read that much. I think that the best business advice that I've got or anything like that is from working with people and Finding out what experiences that they've had that have been positive and trying to build on that. And if it's anything that's negative, stay away from it.
So it's more like experience. And I agree, I think reading is like a stepping stone. And I actually run like a publishing company, so I obviously do a lot of reading, but where you really learn is out there in the field and experience. So I agree. And what's your favorite quote and why?
My favorite quote? I don't really know if I have one, Tyler.
And well, if it's not like a quote that's out, do you have like a mantra that you like? It seems like family's pretty big to you, so maybe like family's number one, or?
Yeah, yeah, definitely. And you know, I'd have to say my favorite quote has always been like, go for it. You know what I mean? If you don't try, then you're not going to fail.
Awesome. Well, hey, that's all. Dude, you did it in record time. So that was only in 3 minutes. So awesome. And what's the best way for people to connect with you online, like website and socials?
On website would be MyrtleBeachDJs.com. And if they want to get on Facebook, they could go to Myrtle Beach DJ apostrophe S. Awesome.
Thanks for hopping on, Joe. I appreciate it. And we'll be in touch soon.
All right. Hey, Tyler, you have a great day, bud.
