Tyler argues that obsessing over perfection blocks growth. Instead, build a solid routine, deliberately try new things, measure what works, and fold the wins back into your structure. Repeat that cycle and you evolve.

Yo, yo, Tyler here with AuthorsUnite.com. I'm in one of my offices here today. I wanted to shoot this quick video. It's basically about how life is like dancing. Okay, so what I want to talk about here is that most people out there, they're too They're too trying to make things so like perfect. And really what that does is it actually ends up limiting you. So how you should treat life is like a dance, like an improv, meaning like, yes, you need structure. Structure is very important because it actually allows you to create more time for improv. But what it's really about to move forward and grow a business and yourself as an individual is trying new things and not trying to perfect every step, but rather taking new steps, steps that you haven't taken before, and then seeing what that iteration's outcome was and then readjusting your normal schedule based on the calculation that came through that output of the new iteration, meaning have your structure and you want to keep redefining and rebuilding your structure, but you can make your structure better by consistently— it's actually, so a part of structure is non-structure, right? So what I mean by this is like, have your structure and then make it a part of your structure of your daily practice to try something new and then measure the results of the newness And then if it is a good result, apply that to the normal structure and keep doing this. And that is how you'll grow and build as a person and as a company. So hope that helped, and I'll talk to you soon.
