Alright everyone, welcome back to another episode of the Business Blast Podcast. I'm your host Tyler Wagner. Today I have Oluj Kayakan with us. He adores interacting with people and making their professional lives easier. He is a true fan of tech that brings concrete, simple, and cost-efficient solutions to the users. So welcome to the show, man.
Hi Tyler, thank you very much.
Of course, man. Well, we'll jump into the first one. The first question I have for you is what is the best story from your life that has an underlying valuable message?
What I would say is that is each time during my personal and professional life, I had a difficult time. Some nice things or positive things happened. So it just keep on going, I would say, and not be on a negative mood too much.
And what is the most valuable piece of information we should know that's within your expertise or industry?
Okay, so on my part, I see myself as a, as a connector or, or networker. So throughout all my entire career, I always help try to solve the problems of my clients, my peers, My colleagues.
And what's your best position?
It was— my focus is all—
sorry, go ahead.
Hello? Yeah, yeah, it was really to help, uh, help, help my clients and, and, and colleagues. My focus, that is that.
And what's your best piece of overall business advice, so not necessarily industry specific?
Oh yeah, the point is that is always never, never speak from, uh, of my product, of myself, just to focus on the needs of my clients. That was the reason of, uh, of my being. It's so dull to, to speak to, to, of the, our companies or of, of ourselves. So it's really to the needs of our clients.
And if you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would that be?
Uh, it would definitely be stop worrying on things that you cannot control and go ahead.
And in your opinion, what is the key to happiness?
It's— I believe it would be stop, uh, stop trying to be happy all the time and live the presence, that's the best way to be happy.
And what is the best book that you've read and what was the number one thing you learned from that?
Oh, I definitely adored Exponential Organizations from Salim Ismail. It shows that the new economy and the new technology really allows to bring total success and exponential success to all the entrepreneurs with great ideas.
And what is your favorite quote and why?
I'm a true fan of Michael Jordan. "I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying." Because I was really worried about failure for a long, long time. And that could, that could plug people actually to try. So let's keep trying and you will succeed.
Perfect, man. Thanks again for hopping on. The last question I have for you before we let you go is where's the best place for people to find and connect with you online?
Well, I'm quite active on social media and the best way to contact me is via LinkedIn on my profile.
Okay, perfect, man. Thanks again.
Perfect. Thank you very much, Tyler Wagner. Have a nice, nice day.
