All right everyone, welcome back to the Business Blast Podcast. I'm your host Tyler Wagner. Today we have Suraj Yare with us and he goes by The Side Baller. So I'm very pumped to have you, man, and I'll dive right into the first question. So the first question I have for you is, what's the best story from your life that has an underlying valuable message?
The best story is that when I was in fifth grade, My mom told me that I was gonna make something out of myself, like I was gonna make her proud one day, and I knew that. So, and then most of my goals I had in life, I knew I was gonna accomplish them, so I'm still going on with that.
And what's the most valuable piece of information we should know that's within your expertise or industry?
I'm a YouTuber, and I never knew I was gonna become a YouTuber, but I realized that I wanted to share my I want to share myself to the world and just give advice to people and get advice from them.
And what's your best piece of overall business advice? So not necessarily like industry specific.
Just like if you want to do something, just do it. Don't wait for something to come for you.
And if you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
I would start young. There's no time to waste, so I would just keep going. Like, if I would have started young, I would have accomplished a lot of goals, but I didn't know that. So if you start young, you're just gonna accomplish more stuff in the future.
Yes, I agree. And in your opinion, what's the key to happiness?
The key to happiness is accomplishing your goals and just motivating yourself to do bigger things in life.
And what's the best book you've read and what was the number one thing you learned from it?
The best book I read was Michael Jordan biography. When he had a flu game, he knew he couldn't quit because his father died, so he motivated himself to play the game and he won a championship. And I learned that don't ever give up on what you're gonna do, but one day you're gonna— you're not gonna regret it one day if you accomplish what you gotta do.
And what's your favorite quote and why?
My favorite quote is don't give up. And why? Because if you give up, you're not gonna go nowhere in life, basically.
And perfect, man. Thank you so much for coming on. And this last question is, where can people best find you online? I'm assuming your YouTube channel. So what's your YouTube channel called?
My YouTube channel is Saraji Sideballer, or they can find me on LinkedIn, Saraji Yarek.
Perfect, brother. Thanks again for coming on.
Yep.
