All right everyone, welcome back to another episode of the Business Blast podcast. I'm your host Tyler Wagner, and today I have Stacy Walker with us. She's a business strategist that helps ambitious entrepreneurs use collaborative strategies in their business model. So welcome to the show, Stacy.
Thank you for having me, Tyler. It's an honor to be here.
Of course, and it's an honor to have you on as well. And, uh, we'll dive right in. The first question that I have for you is, what's the best story from your life that has an underlying valuable message?
Oh, good question. I would say a point in my life, life or death situation to where I was literally on bed rest for almost an entire year and I was faced with being homeless or trying to do something about it. I couldn't work a regular job, so that's when I discovered the online space. So the underlying message of this is that Anything's possible no matter what challenges you face in life.
And what's the most valuable piece of information that we should know that is within your expertise or industry?
The most valuable piece I would say is that look at your network, continue to expand and grow your network because opportunities abound. That's why I love using collaborative strategies in my business model. Because, you know, you know that saying, your network is your net worth. Absolutely true.
And what's your best piece of overall business advice? So not necessarily industry specific.
I would say best piece of advice is to continue to connect with people from all over the world. We have the ability with technology to connect with people. So the world's gotten smaller for us, and you use that as an advantage to get your message out there to the world.
And if you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would that be?
Don't give up.
Yes. And in your opinion, what's the key to happiness?
Key to happiness to me is being able to design an incredible life doing what you love and making sure that you also stay away from the things that you don't want to do. So that's my key to happiness.
And what's the best book that you've read and what was the number one thing you learned from that?
Oh gosh, the best book that I read. This is a hard one, but if I was going to say anything, it would be Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. And the number one thing that I learned from that is that mindset is everything and it can Your mindset is what will determine what your life will look like.
And what's your favorite quote and why?
Whatever the mind— wait, whatever the mind conceives will achieve. Because it's absolutely true. You know, since I've really been working on my mindset, that quote always rings a bell. So I have to make sure I be careful with my thoughts.
Yes, I agree. And thank you so much for coming on, Stacy. The last question I have before we let you go is, where's the best place for people to find you online?
Oh, yes, yes. I can be found at my website, StacyWalker.com. S-T-A-C-I-E-W-A-L-K-E-R.com.
Perfect. Thanks again, Stacy. We really appreciate it.
