Welcome back to another episode of Tyler Talks. Today I want to talk about somebody that was just introduced to me recently. His name is Arthur Schopenhauer. Very fascinating guy. I'm really excited to dive into his books, but I've just checked out some of his quotes. I'm going to read to you some of my favorite ones by him, just from what I can tell so far and what I've heard about him. Absolutely incredible, incredible guy. Here we go. We'll dive into the first one. All truth Passes through 3 stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. And third, it is accepted as being self-evident. Okay, now number 2: Talent hits a target no one else can hit. Genius hits a target no one else can see. Third one: I've never known any trouble that an hour's reading didn't assage. And then let me see here. I got a list of these. And again, this is Arthur Schopenhauer. This one's good. A man can do what he wants, but not what he wants. This guy's good. Another one is, to live alone is the fate of all great souls. Another one, the two enemies of human happiness are pain and boredom. Compassion is the basis of morality. Another great one: Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world. So, you know, and he's a German philosopher. So hopefully those quotes help you. Hopefully those quotes by Arthur are inspiring for you, or not even necessarily inspiring, just helpful to you in some way. I know that they are to me, and after I read some of his literature, I will definitely do another Tyler Talks and share some more information about him. Because like I said before, just from reading his quotes and hearing about what my one buddy told me about him, I'm very, let's say, bullish on what he has to teach. So thanks for listening to Tyler Talks, and I will talk to you soon.
