Hi, I'm Natalie Jill, fat loss expert turned high performance coach. When odds are stacked against us, how do we shift and create everything from nothing? How do we level up when we aren't feeling it yet or we've had a big setback? On this podcast, I'll be talking to some of the most inspiring and courageous men and women on this planet who at their worst, learned how to achieve success greater than they ever dreamed possible. Leveling up and creating everything from Nothing today, celebrating 100 episodes on leveling up, Creating everything from nothing. And I today I'm doing my first solo episode for you. I had a lot of requests for it and I'm finally taking it on as a celebration of 100 episodes. The reason I wanted to do this episode is there is a been a common theme theme in all the episodes that I've done, a really common theme, an actual formula on how people truly leveled up and created everything from nothing. And I narrowed it down to five specific things that every single interview I have done. And I've interviewed over a hundred interviews now. I've released 99 before this one. And these common things have come up on every single interview. And I thought, wow, this is pretty fascinating. Let me share these with you now, a little backstory before I share all these these with you today. And I think you're going to really find this interesting because you can totally take them and apply them to your own life. But a little backstory is for those of you that don't know. The reason I created this podcast was from my own personal setback. Now here I was in the fat loss, nutrition, fitness, weight loss space and doing really well with it. But my business had started to really shift and I didn't know quite what was going on. A lot of things were going differently. I could have blamed a lot of people, a lot of things, a lot of reasons, but. But a lot was going on and I wasn't really sure why. And I found myself in this spot where I just was making a lot of mistakes over and over again, making a lot of bad decisions. And when I would try to create or be motivated, I wasn't feeling it. And I would sit there wondering, how in the world do you create and get yourself motivated when nothing's working? Like, how do I find that energy to do that? And that was this conversation I was having in my head to daily, like, I just don't feel like it. I'm not motivated. Nothing's working. How do I get out of this funk? So I turned to podcasts I. Before I had my own, I turned to podcasts and I searched for topics like who can I listen to, what can I listen to to get me out of this ridiculous funk I'm in? And what would happen when I would find these interviews is either the host would talk over the guest and. Or they wouldn't ask the questions I really wanted to know or they wouldn't go deep enough with them. So I found it wasn't helping me a lot. So I decided, sort of on a whim that I was going to start my own. Now, I didn't know what I was doing with the podcast. I had never done a podcast before, but I decided that I was going to take it on almost for my own therapy, if you will. Not really with a plan to share it to the masses, but for my own therapy. And I thought if someone's interested in, they will listen along. What I didn't know then is that you all would enjoy this so much. And through my learning and my therapeutic interviews, which is what I call them, I look so forward to them. And what I've learned, I've grown an audience that is also interested in these topics. So thank you for being interested. And I want to celebrate these first hundred with you and want to share that it's just been such an amazing journey and I. I'm thrilled that we have made it. Leveling up. Creating Everything from Nothing has been consistently ranking in the top 50 of self help, which makes me so thrilled that I know it's helping so many of you. So without further ado, I want to get into today because there are five common things that I found. It's a formula. Five common things that every single guest I have interviewed has had in common. Now, they might have worded it different, they might have said it different, but here's what's crazy, you guys. Now, I was an expert in fat loss. That's. That's my bread and butter. That's what I had been doing. And what's really crazy is these five things are the same things that I built my programs around with fat loss. So the same things that had helped people lose lots of weight and keep it off. It turns out they're the same things that people use to create millions of dollars from nothing or to create healing from major health setbacks or. Or to create creativity from a place of funk. So this is wild. So I'm going to get right into it with you guys. So you might want to grab a piece of paper and a pen for this because this is a formula here, and it's going to sound simple, and I know it's not simple, but this is the formula. You ready? All right, number one, they make a decision. Now, that sounds really basic, but deciding always comes first. They decide they're drawing a line in the sand. It is done. This is happening. I am going to make this change no matter what that was. So they were broke and they decide, I'm not going to be broke anymore. I'm going to thrive. Maybe they were having bad relationships and they decided, I am going to find my soulmate and everything's going to change. Or maybe they were having massive setbacks with their health. I think of Janine Shepard, who I interviewed, who she was in a horrible accident and paralyzed from the waist down, told she'd never walk again. But she decided that that was not going to be her. That was not going to be her destiny. She decided she would walk again. I think of Ed Milette, who I interviewed. I think of Dan Locke, who I've interviewed, how they had major financial setbacks and were ready to give up, call it quits, but then they decided. They decided that's not who they were. They were going to take things to a whole nother level. They drew that line in the sand. They decided. So, number one, it's a firm decision. They decided. So I'm going to ask you if you are in your setback right now. That is step one, make that decision, say it over and over again until you start believing it yourself, but you decide. You make that decision. Number two, this is the second common ground. They all call it different things, but it's the same thing. They all had a very clear vision. They knew where they were headed. Now, let me explain what that means. Let me give you a little analogy for those of you that have followed me on my weight loss platforms. You've heard me talk about this. But if we were to get in a car, all of us right now, and I were to say, just go, drive. Just go, drive, where would you end up? Well, depends on how much gas is in your car. Depends on how much time you have. Depends on where you need to be. What's the weather like? Is there snow on the ground? Probably not. Maybe there is. Are the roads clear? Are there traffic? Where are you gonna end up? We would all end up in different places because we're not clear on our vision and where we're going. However, if instead we have a different conversation and we're all really enrolled that we are going to New York City, like we're all going to New York City. I'm talking all of you. You're all set on it. You're clear what you're going to be doing there, what you're going to be saying, seeing who you're going to be hanging out with, what you're going to be visiting. You're clear that we're all going to New York. Now, we all get in the car and we say, go to New York. How do we get there? Well, somebody might drive to the train station. Somebody might park their car and walk. Maybe they live close. Somebody might drive to the airport and fly. Maybe somebody will get out and take an Uber. Maybe somebody will pull up their navigation or their ways on their phone and get there. We all might go a different direction, a different way, but we all are going to get there because we're super, super clear on our vision. The number two commonality with every guest I've had that has created everything from nothing is they were super laser clear on their vision on where they want to go. And what's so interesting, when I talk to so many of you and I say, what is it you want? Where do you want to go? You say, I don't know. I just want to be happy. So I'm going to encourage you, get really clear on what is your vision. Where is it you want to go? Where do you want to go? Number three. Now, I have a secret name for this. I call this a driving core motivator. Now, many of the guests I've had call it something different. Maybe they call it their why. So every guest I've had that has achieved massive success and leveled up, creating everything from nothing. Every single one of them, they got crystal clear on their why or their driving core motivator. That's the true reason that you want something. It's the true reason. So you're saying, I don't want to be broke anymore. And I'm going to say, but why? And you're going to answer that. But we're not going to stop there. We're going to go 10 levels deeper because it's at that core. It's at that driving core motivator where you attach an emotion to it, where you know you want that change. That's what drives the change in weight loss. I did this so many times with clients. It was, but why do you want to lose weight? If it's just to look good in jeans, that's not enough. Because then we feel comfortable in the sweats, on the couch, we're gonna cheat. We're Gonna eat what we want because we're feeling comfortable. But when you go deeper, when I would get to the root that, well, you know, I don't want to weigh this anymore. And I say, why? Well, because every day when I go to get dressed and I look in the closet, it pains me. And I say, but why? Well, because nothing fits and I don't feel attractive in anything I put on. But why? Because I just won't feel good about myself. And when I don't feel good about myself, then I'm in a bad mood and I don't show up at my strongest. Okay, and why? And what happens then? Well, then I'm not focused and I'm not motivated and I'm not connecting with people. Okay, and then what happens? Well, then I isolate and I'm moody and I'm lonely. Aha. See, now we're getting somewhere. I'm getting to your driving core motivator. You want to feel more connected. That's just one example. But every guest I've had, they had that true driving core motivator that drove them, that helped them commit to moving further, that helped them get past the I don't feel like it. So number three is that driving core motivator. Number four, what else did these people had? They were committed. I'm going to say it even though it's been said a million times. They've been committed af. You know what that stands for? They've been committed no matter what. No matter what. They are stuck on their vision. No setback. No, no, no. I don't feel like it gets in their way. Does that mean they don't have a moment of questioning? Of course not. They have moments of questioning. But no matter what, they are committed af. They shift out of it. They stay attached to their vision. No, no, no, non. Belief in them gets in their way. They are committed and that conviction is what carries them through. I think of Mickey, who I interviewed recently. Mickey, and what an incredible journey. She was one of the first people that developed gluten free pizza. Believe it or not, before people knew what gluten was. She shares a story of me, of that no one knew what gluten was. No one believed that anyone cared about gluten free pizza. My gosh, now it's at every restaurant, everywhere. But she was persistent and no one believed in her. No one would help her. People laughed at her. They told her it's not possible and she didn't care. She kept moving past it until that rock bottom spot when she was still stuck on her dream and surrendered and told somebody. I don't believe you're interested. I've heard a million people tell me this. If you're serious, write me a check. And they did. She was committed no matter what. She didn't care who said no. She was committed no matter what. The fourth commonality of everyone I've interviewed is they were committed to their vision no matter what. The fifth thing, the fifth thing that every single guest I've had has said. Now, I'm talking about 100 interviews here. I'm not talking about just five. 100 interviews of success stories, of people that leveled up and created everything from nothing. They all said this fifth thing in common. They surrounded themselves with people that believed in them and their vision. Now, this is critical. Hear me out here. I know we can't get rid of our families. I know we have people we work with. But who are the people we're surrounding ourselves with? What are they telling us? What are they believing about us? What are they reinforcing? Because, you see, we can easily enroll people in why something's not working. We can easily enroll somebody in an excuse. But if those people around you are easily enrolled in those things, then what kind of stand is that for you? How does that help support you moving forward? So the commonality with everyone I interviewed is they surrounded themselves with people more knowledgeable than them, People that were motivated, people that believed in grand possibility, people that believed in them and kept them going. Now, if you're listening to this and you're saying, I don't have those people in my life, neither did some of these people, but they were able to surround themselves with them. How? They listened to podcasts, they listened to audiobooks. They found people on social media. They found authors. They read it, they listened to it, they watched it. You can control that. And when you can get the negative noise shied away and cover that with all of this positive noise of people that believe in you, that's what makes a huge difference. That's what levels you up. So I wanted to share these with you today because, wow. This commonality with every interview is just undeniable. And it's the five core things I teach with weight loss, too. Listen to this again if you need to. But this did not veer. Every single person I interviewed, they decided they created a vision. They could feel it, smell it, taste it, think it, believe it. They knew their driving core motivator. They went 10 levels deep on their why they committed no matter what. No matter what. And they surrounded themselves with people that would help believe in them and move them forward. You've got this too. You can do this. I know you can do it too.
