Hi, I'm Natalie Jill, fat loss expert turned high performance coach. When odds are stacked against us, how do we shift and create everything from nothing? How do we level up when we aren't feeling it yet or we've had a big setback? On this podcast I'll be talking to some of the most inspiring and courageous men and women on this planet who at their worst learned how to achieve success greater than they ever dreamed possible. Leveling up and creating everything from nothing. Today, air quality and air pollution, they're a real problem to our health and environment and many know this. But 18 years ago, many did not. So how did a small town guy with a big vision that saw this create such an impact when people did not get his vision at the beginning? Today I want you to meet Vinny Lobdell, Global President and co founder of Intellipure. Now as I went on a search myself for air purifiers, I discovered Intellipure. But intrigued by their big results and impact, yet small family owned business feel I wanted to know how he created everything from nothing with this. From sharing a vision to people that did not initially understand it, to getting creative with positioning, to staying positive and focused on days when even he could not make payroll. Vinnie's passion and purpose shines through and I believe it is what led this business to being the fastest growing and leading purpose driven air purifier brand in the world. Intellipure is now in all major hotels like Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, the Ritz and I even sleep with one in my room. Now join in today and learn exactly how Vinnie Lobdell, co founder of Intellipure leveled up and created everything from from nothing positively impacting so many lives. Now side note, although this podcast interview is more about Vinnie's story on Intellipure and how it came about, for more information on the product itself, I am sharing a blog in the show Notes which includes detailed studies, research, information on why I love this particular brand and even a coupon code to save when you order one of your own. Now without further delay, enjoy the interview. Today on Leveling Up I am excited because I'm talking to Vinny Lobdell who is the global president and co founder of Intellipure. Now why am I interviewing him about this? Well I recently got obsessed with looking at air purifiers and I chose the Intellipur and I was very fortunate. I was able to meet Vinny and his wife when they were out in California, get to know him and then when I learned his story behind it, I Had to know more. I wanted to know why he got into the air purifying business, of all things. I wanted to know if he had struggles like other entrepreneurs, how he created everything from nothing, and if this was truly a passion of his or, you know, what this was about, why he jumped in and created it. So I'm so excited here to talk to somebody today about this. So thanks, Vinny, for being here.
Oh, what a pleasure. And we're grateful that you're giving us the opportunity to tell our story and share it.
Yeah. So let's jump in because I was. I'm so curious about this. Like, where I don't think you go to school and say, when I grew up, I'm going create an air purifier company. Like that doesn't. Where did that even come about? And how did. How did you get into this?
Yes, that's really funny. My father, believe it or not, was an engineer and he was a welder. Started off blue collar family. And my father was always passionate, hardworking guy, was always looking at how we can make a positive impact in people's lives. And so in 1998, I was in college and I joined forces with him in 2001 to start the brand and to get involved in the air cleaning business simply because I wanted to do something that was impactful. I didn't really want to go to corporate America and work in corporate America. And we had a small family business. It was just my father and myself. And as I became more involved, I really realized that what we were doing made a significant impact in people's lives. I mean, we were doing product projects for the Cleveland Clinic and major institutions. And the result of that was really rewarding for me. Even though back in that day, people weren't really interested in air quality or air cleaning, we were at the forefront of it. And it was. That's basically how I got involved. So it was my father and myself, and we like just kept pushing forward and seeing how we can make an impact. And that's what started.
So talk to me about this because this is interesting because you were really growing before people even knew air quality was a problem. Like now it's a buzz. People talk about it all the time. People are aware most people have an air purifier or are looking for one, but you were seeing this vision and starting this before anyone even knew this was a problem. How did you battle that? Because that's. That's stepping into really, you know, new waters.
Yeah. So people, this is. This is the 1820 year, overnight success story.
Okay.
It's taken so much time, effort, hard work, failure to get to where we're at. And I just tell people all the time, if it weren't for perseverance, a little bit of good luck, and just a lot of difficulty, we wouldn't be where we're at today. But, yeah, to your point, we just. We basically were all about education. We knew that there was a major problem, and especially in, like, hospital applications where people were dealing with respiratory difficulties. And back in the late 90s, it was mostly about smoke people and smoking in restaurants and bars. And that's where we really started the business.
Cigarette smoke.
Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, if you looked at. Back in the day, everyone smoked in bars and people. So we would. We would attack that issue from a smoke situation. And then we started to evolve the brand to focus more on residential solutions that were for people that had compromised immune systems or other respiratory elements.
So this is. I'm curious about this because. And I know people listening can relate to this. Like so many entrepreneurs out there or people that aren't even entrepreneurs yet, they see they have a vision, they have an idea for something. They see that's a problem. And once everybody recognizes it as a problem, there seems to be a lot of competition, a lot of people doing something. But you were doing this before everyone knew it was a problem. Like, you just mentioned cigarette smoking. I mean, it was still legal to smoke cigarettes in restaurants and bars. So people weren't even seeing that that was a big problem. What was driving you to keep going and sharing your vision? Because that's a question I'm very curious about. So many people see a solution for a problem that the, you know, that most people don't even see as a problem yet.
Yeah. So I always go back to the analogy, and this is kind of the way I've lived my life, is if you're not making a positive impact in someone's life, you're wasting your time. And so. And with our customer, without the people we were working with, we saw that when the people that we touched, we really had a solution for their issue. And that was. That's what kind of continued to have us push forward. We knew that the things we were doing were making a positive impact. But you're exactly right. I mean, selling clean air, something that's not visible, is very, very challenging. But what we found is, is that when we did it, the people that we worked with is really rewarding. And that's kind of how we kept pushing forward one step At a time.
How did you do that? Because like the same thing happened. If you look at water, I mean, 20 years ago, no one bought bottled water.
Everything is education. And certainly now you see it every day in the news, especially in California. You look at the wildfire issue. But, you know, it's all about education. And I think time with the Internet and how technology has changed things. Change doesn't happen literally anymore. It happens much quicker. So now we're being inundated with all this information on air quality and air pollution being the number one health epidemic facing people worldwide. And so I think that's what's really driving everything. And you mentioned competition. I mean, we're still a small family owned company with 100% ownership. Every bit of the money and time and effort we put in this business goes back into it. So it's tremendously difficult. But we pride ourselves on being the specialist in the space. We're not in the appliance business. We don't want to sell products. We want to deliver true solutions to people that really make a positive impact in their lives.
Yeah, I love this. I think that so many businesses that fail, they're not actually purpose driven. I really do see a trend. I feel when people stay attached to a purpose and something that they're passionate about, businesses tend to thrive.
And that's hard because I think what happens with a lot of businesses, you know, cash flow and money constraints and how to make a business successful, a lot of times people take the shortcut and they do that to, you know, get ahead financially. And what you long standing, fruitful, thriving businesses that last decades comes from being passionate about what you're doing and providing real value. You know, we say bullshit, only get you so far. You have to really deliver nowadays because if not, people find out.
Vinny, did this ever come into play with your mindset? Because I'm, I'm thinking, you know, here you are, you graduate school, you're getting stepping into something and you're stepping into a big vision doing that. Did you ever have that conversation of like, well, maybe I should go do something that people already understand or how did you navigate through that conversation?
I've had that for the past 25 years of my life. I mean, one of the things I've realized though is, is that when you've chosen the path, success comes just simply through perseverance. I mean, there's several days I woke up and wanted to give up. There were several days early on where we couldn't pay payroll. You know, this, these are things that really are they. You know, they create a lot of problems. And as we talked earlier, you know, life is messy, especially when you're an entrepreneur and you're trying to juggle multiple hats. But, you know, it goes back to. We really believed in what we were doing, and we just kept. We stayed focused and kept pushing, and that's. That's where we're at today. That's how we've gotten to where we're at today.
All right. I have so many questions right now that are coming up for me. Just my entrepreneur hats going on with all. With all the questions. I want to know, because you just brought it up, the payroll thing that you just said, because we've all been there as entrepreneurs. How did you navigate through that? Because so many people quit when they get to that.
Well, it's really interesting. The more you grow, generally the more cash strapped you become. If you want to really invest in your business, you have to invest a lot of money, which means normally you don't make a lot. You put it all back into the business. So people think you're doing great because you have your own business, but in reality, it's quite the opposite. So navigating through that was. It was hard. I mean, a lot of failures. A lot of failures. You know, we had to finance the business in ways, you know, where he traditionally wouldn't have done that, just to kind of bootstrap the business and not give up equity. So the way we looked at it was as we tried to be smart, we tried to look at what expenses were crucial and what expenses weren't, and that's how we navigated through it. Doing exactly what we needed to do and focusing on our key objectives were what helped us kind of navigate through that. And then I also think we have such a great workforce, people that really believed in what we were trying to accomplish. I think that comes back to culture inside of an organization. And people really believe in my father, and I think they believe in myself as well. And what's happened is when people believe in you, they're willing to do things, not just for money, they're willing to do it out of purpose. And so I think it's all about creating that culture where it's more of what are we doing to make a greater impact on society rather than money. And that's a hard thing to swallow, but I think that really is where a lot of it comes into play. That's the right people.
Brilliant, actually. And it sounds so simple, but it's not. I've watched Too many entrepreneurs fail because of not focusing on that, because they're just focusing on the black and white and the money and that's hard. So I love that. You're truly an example of that. Purpose driven. Talk to us about that. Specifically about air quality and why that's so important. I know it seems like it's probably changed over the years for the focus, starting with the state cigarette smoke. And then you mentioned, you know, as we have new research about air quality, how has that changed and why is it so important?
Well, so you know, the who, the World Health Organization states that air pollution is the number one health concern facing humans worldwide. So 90% of the global population live with air quality that's outside the normal guidelines. So bad air quality. And we now know what's happened is this. The last 30 years of research have come to show that it's not just asthma and allergies, it's cardiovascular disease, stroke, dementia, fertility. All these things are linked to high levels of air pollution. Specifically ultrafine particles. These are the ultra very, very small particles that we can't see that get lodged into our cardiovascular and into our every organ in our body and cause inflammation and sickness. So what's happened is now people can see this, now people are seeing the research and people are talking about it. But what's even advanced to business even more is the emergence of technology's changed everything. We know that. But now you can actually purchase low cost air quality sensors that can be put into your home and it'll actually show you what the air quality is inside that space and correlate it to the health impact. And based on that, we're basically empowering people to live better in their built environment. So I think it's two things, technology and education.
Yeah, you know, it's really fascinating and I'm guessing that a lot of people listening aren't aware because I was not aware of how big of a problem air quality I knew it was in certain areas. I knew when we had fires in California there's an issue, but I wasn't like truly aware. And it's funny because so many of us spend so much time on the, what we're eating, what we're taking like with supplements, what we're eating, what we're doing with our bodies and what we're drinking and we look at our water quality but no one's been really talking about what they're breathing. And that's. You can't survive without air.
Yeah, it's exactly right. I think the emergence started in 2008 with the Beijing Olympics, where all of our athletes were there, and the pollution you could actually see in the air. And everyone started to say, what is the real implication of this? And then now, you know, the aqi, the air quality index, you can actually type it in. You can find what your outdoor quality is all the time. It is the number one health epidemic of our time. And the problem is we can't see it. So by putting these sensors in the space, you'll be able to see it, understand a little bit more, and then educate yourself on it. But you're exactly right. I mean, it's hard to invest in something you can't see. But if you look at dementia, if you look at all these elements and sicknesses, we didn't have them 30 years ago. Right. You didn't hear about people with dementia and Alzheimer's and all these things. 30 or 40 years, it's prolonged exposure to ultra fine particles. We're building our homes more efficient, we're building our offices more efficient to control energy costs. These are the things that are impacting the health and wellness of every person on planet earth.
Wow. Yeah. And I. I did not have air purifiers in my house for a long time. I did not even get it. I just knew not to go running outside with a bad quality. That's about the size of what we know. What I learned from Vinnie, too, is when we see those, you know, when the sun's shining in a window and you see those little particles in the air, like, I wasn't putting that together, but we're breathing that, and that's toxic right there.
So that stuff that you're seeing only represents 5% of what's in the air, 95% of what's floating in the environment you can't see. So when you see all that stuff floating around, you're thinking you're breathing that in. Imagine amplifying that times 95%, and that's actually what you're breathing in. And the stuff you can't see is what's most damaging, believe it or not. So those are the small, small ultra fine particles that cause inflammation inside of everybody.
Do you think that your business and vision has stayed alive and grown because of your passion behind it?
I mean, passion, I think, is everything, but I think it also comes down to some, some luck. I've also been incredibly blessed. I think that, you know, I think blessing is a big part of my life. I'm fortunate enough to have a great family and great support system. That's kind of always believed in each other. So it'. When it's a family business, you tend to do things a little bit differently and you tend to be more responsible towards creating success because it impacts so many people just besides yourself. And so I think it's, I think it's passion, but it's also the belief in what we're doing. Yeah.
Nadine, before people knew about air quality and before this was a big thing where people were buying air purifiers and you saw this vision for people. Were you out there talking into the vision? I'm just, I'm curious how you went about growing the company initially. Was it, were you focused on the features, benefits? Were you focused on the problem? Like, can you take us through how you shared that vision with people?
So I traveled roughly three. I was one of the youngest 3 million mile flyers in United history at 30. I had done that. I had traveled 300 days a year trying to bring the vision of air quality to the globe. Air pollution, we knew was a growing epidemic, but we literally bootstrapped it. Myself and other colleagues were on the road 300 days a year, which creates a whole nother set of challenges that we discussed in the past. But really that's what it was about. We were crusaders, we were trailblazers. We were at shows in China and Amsterdam and all over the US and several over 30 countries to really educate and position our brand as the specialist, the leader in the marketplace.
Did you encounter people arguing with you about that not being an actual problem? I'm curious how you, if you had to deal with that.
Believe it or not, even though the World Health Organization states air quality, air pollution is the number one health epidemic, we still have people that say that. Why would you ever invest in that? The reality of it comes down to is what, 30 or 40 years ago, people smoked cigarettes while they were pregnant because they didn't think it was an issue. Ignorance is bliss. And I think that the key is we now know that ultra fine particles are one of the most damaging, can have the most damaging effect on human health. So we do have the issue, but we just look at that and we educate people, we try to give them the most information we can, and then we empower them to live better by showing how much better the environment is through systems and measuring.
I love it.
Yeah.
I believe that's why your company has grown so fast. By the way, everyone, this his company, Intellipure is the fastest growing air cleaning brand in the world right now. And they're actually in all the big hotels Now Hyatt Hilton Marriott's Ritz Carlton which is just incredible.
Yeah. The Intellipure brand. So we have a sister company called Pure Wellness and that was developed 14 years ago as an indoor environmental quality brand. We believe that everyone has the right to live without environmental boundaries. The challenge you have though is when you go on the road, you don't know what a Hilton room could be like or a Hyatt room could be like. So we created the Pure room process which is a seven step patented process. One of the steps is using the air cleaning system. But it provides the most comfortable and best night's sleep along the road. And you can book at thousands of rooms all across the country@PureRoom.com I love that.
I'll tell you. Ever since I added your. We had an older air filter, we changed it out and put the Intellipur in our bedroom and our slee sleep has totally changed. It's been. It's a big difference. And I mean I love it. And what is so cool about it is whether or not you believe air quality is important. Like it's, it's easy, it doesn't require any work from people. Like when you, like when you hear about changing your diet, changing your workout, changing your habits, like that's all great. I think everybody gets that they need to do it. The problem is sticking to habits. What I like about this, you don't have to remind yourself to do anything. You just plug it in and turn it on.
Exactly right. Yeah.
There's no habit that be needs to to be created.
Hands. Hands free. Yep. It's perfect.
Yeah. It's like why would somebody not take on pure. There's be no negative to purifying your air.
That's exactly right. Yeah. There's only benefits. It's only a benefit.
Talk to us about like common household things because I that what comes up for me is like carbon monoxide or like mold. Does it help with things like that?
Oh sure. So it won't help with carbon monoxide. If you look at creating a non toxic environment, certainly you should look at mold. Mold they say, you know, it's one of the create mycotoxins. You create all these negative impacts with mold. This machine will capture and eliminate mold spores as it collects it. We always tell people that if you have mold on your walls, this machine will help clean the air to make sure none of that gets into your respiratory zone. But you should have that mold removed. So remediation is a crucial part of, you know, creating a healthy environment. If you Have a moldy, musty basement. Or if you have, you know, mold moisture problems, you should try to fix those as well. So air cleaning is just one component of a healthier indoor environment. And also looking at the habits in your home. Don't use can candles are VOCs or toxins. They don't.
I use candles all the time. Vinnie, you're just not your night and I don't like you.
You need to use all natural.
Do I use like the soy ones? Is that okay?
Good? Yes. Much better. Much better. But even people don't realize how they clean their home. Humans are the biggest pollutant inside the home. So although the air quality might not be bad outside, we pollute our homes with these awful cleaning chemicals that we're using and fragrances that we use to fragrance and cover up odors. We simply need to make sure we're using all natural plant based cleaners and we need to use high efficiency medical grade air cleaners to scrub the air and we can create a really fantastic home. Like you, Natalie, you have hard surfaces back there and the hard surfaces are perfect. So keeping those.
But I have a candle.
It better be soy.
But now I'm concerned about the fragrance in it. I don't know what to be.
Careful. Yeah, you just take it step by step. You don't have to do any major changes. Air cleaning is one important part. But also looking at your habits, understanding how you're impacting the space is crucial.
Okay, I want to get a little bit. I want to shift off of the. Because the air filter is amazing. Intellipur is amazing. But I want to shift into. I've got some more questions about just entrepreneur mindset on that because there's a lot of people listening that have an idea, they have a big vision, they have a purpose and they're scared to start creating it because of that. So I'd love to go a little bit deeper in how. If you can remember, I know it was 18 years ago for you, but I'm curious if you could think back to that, those steps that you took. Because right now, like you said, we were an 18 year overnight success. But can you take us a little bit through the mud? Like how did you get yourself rallied every day when people were saying no, when people didn't see the vision, how did you keep plugging through that?
That's where the passion comes in. I mean, you have to certainly be grounded with the passion and why you're doing this, but also surrounding yourself. I think it's so crucial to surround yourself with positive people that also believe in your mission. You know, if there's no place, if you're going to be entrepreneur, I always say that the most, probably the biggest decision you'll ever make in your life is who becomes your spouse. Because if you don't find someone that's completely supportive of your mission and understands your passion as well as you do, it's likely not going to go well. One's going to break. And that's, you know, as I think I touched on with you early on in my career, I mean, I went through a very troubling divorce with young children, and it's because I was trying to do too much with too little. I probably wasn't the best husband, but what happens is you. We can't do it all. So I always challenge entrepreneurs to make sure it's the right time. It's never. They said it's never the right time, but make sure you have the right people in your camp.
How would you do that, Vinny? Because, like, that's interesting. See, when you started this, you were actually married to somebody else and then going through a divorce, they did you. So looking back now, what would you have done differently there?
No, so I had started the business and then got married. And, you know, what ended up happening is, you know, how things change for people. And, you know, when you're young especially, I think you're really motivated, you want to. Things happen and you try to do too much. And for me, I tried to do too much and I didn't focus on, I think, the things that were most important. So something broke and that was my marriage. And that was very tough. That was very difficult for me, especially with little kids. You know, I always tell people, I don't, I don't. Yeah, I don't want wish that on my worst enemy. So I tell people that it's important to make sure that your spouse or whoever you're close with is completely committed to your cause as well. Because if not, it's going to pull on you pretty considerably.
Yeah, that's interesting too, because here you had a big vision that's going to help the world really. But like, then you're. If it's. But then if something's breaking and yet the people that are the most important to you at the time. That's right there. Sure.
And I. But I think, Natalie, the key I've learned is, you know, I got a lot of coaching through that time. It was a really challenging time. But getting the right people around you, people that really support your Mission. I mean, listen, we all. I say this life is messy. I don't care who you are, I don't care how much money you make, I don't care how beautiful or good looking you are. Life is messy for everyone. And so I think really taking those challenges as an opportunity to grow and look at how to become better, better every day. And that's what I did. You know, I worked every day on how to become better and how to focus my time and energy to do things the right way. And it was a very painful process. But I think that's key. And I had the people around me and it comes back to my family supported me every step of the way and some close friends that were then you're doing great stuff. Keep doing it, keep doing it. Stay course, keep doing.
Yeah.
And that's, that's I think what really kept me moving in the right direction.
Yeah. That's amazing. How did you. Hey, talk to me about how you planted the seed for the vision of everything before people saw it. I'm super curious about that because.
So it's, it's a top down approach. You know, my father is one of the smartest guys I know. He's probably the thing he taught me is there's a lot of really brilliant, smart people out there, but most people aren't willing to do the work that it takes to be successful. So my father is also the hardest working guy I know. And what we did is we looked at the market and we saw that there was definitely a niche in the marketplace. And so what we did with the niche is we started focusing on how to provide value and a real solution to these major air quality problems. So whether it was at a hospital or then we shifted to the home is we went out and partnered with companies that were in similar spaces. So you asked about water. How we first entered the market is we found the top water conditioning dealers in the marketplace that already had a good grasp to the customer that may be interested in air quality. We didn't have a big marketing budget, we didn't have a big advertising budget. So we sold them on our solutions and then they brought our solutions to the homeowner. So what we did is we bundled water and air together and that's how we started to get penetration in the market. So we knew that we couldn't go out and spend millions of dollars in advertising or marketing. We knew we had a limited team here. So we went out to the top water treatment professionals, sold them on our vision and told them that this is how they can make more money presenting a similar product to an audience that would be likely interested in it. And that's how the business really took off.
That's amazing. I love that creative way to. To combine things there. That's great. And I think that there's not enough of that in people's visions in business. They want to just lone wolf it and do it themselves versus tag onto something that's working.
That's where people fail. We even look at competition is great. I mean, we have, you know, a lot of emerging competitors, and we welcome them. We think that it's a great way for us to continually improve. We love when a company comes out with a great new innovation because it really, it makes us step up our game. And I think, think ultimately that's when the consumer wins, when there's a lot of competition and everyone's innovating to bring the best value to the marketplace.
Yeah. That's so awesome. Okay, a few more questions for you. How did you keep yourself motivated daily when you. When things were not working? Like, how did you shift yourself and go out and create everything from nothing when you had those bad days of not having sales or somebody not believing or somebody coming out with a study that countered it? Like, how did you keep yourself going through that?
A lot of it was need. I needed to make it happen. I had responsibilities, and I'm a winner. That's the way I've always looked in my life. No matter what I'm up against, I'm going to win. And it may not win in the battle, but ultimately I'm going to win the war. And that's because I'm willing to put the time and effort in to make it happen. And so I always thought that this is something that the market needed. This is something that people needed, and it was going to continue to grow. And that no matter what anyone threw at me, I would look at it positively and try to move through that and make it happen. And a lot of that was also driven by the need to support my family. I think that when you have a family to support, everything else kind of goes to the wayside. And that was part of my focus. I always, I mean, I certainly wasn't in this position. I don't know if you've ever watched a movie, Cinderella man, where Russell Crowe is there and he, you know, he was a boxer and he had to come back and fight. He lost everything. And they asked him what he was fighting for, and he said milk, because his family didn't have milk. And it really resonated well. I mean, of course, my story wasn't like that, but it's that type of motivation that I think keeps me going. I'm afraid to lose. I'm afraid to lose everything. I think that's what keeps you motivated.
So good. So good. Okay. If somebody's listening right now and they're in their own. I asked this question to everybody, by the way, Vinny, so I'm curious how you've answered this. I've asked this to 125 entrepreneurs that I've interviewed. If somebody's listening right now and they're in their own personal rock bottom, so maybe it's their divorce they're going through or they're trying to launch a vision and it's just not working, or they can't make their payroll. Whatever it is, it's their own personal rock bottom. If you were them, some advice right now on how they can start turning things around, what would you tell them?
Shift your mindset. It's incredibly hard, but there's really one motto I live by. Tough times never last. Tough people do. And what it comes down to is we're all faced with these challenges, whether it's a relationship, money, health, you know, insecurity issue. We all have them. And I think it's finding someone that you can really rely on. I tell people, not someone that's your best friend. Get help, get coaching, get counseling. Find someone that's gone through similar things and learn from them. It's all about using the. Like you said, you don't have to recreate the wheel. I wake up every morning and I do a reading. After the reading, I'll share. I mean, I do the Darren daily. I don't know if you know what that is, but I do. Darren Daly. It's a really, really great recap, and it keeps me motivated. You have to eat positive information all the time. You have to constantly be improving. So, you know, and I also like the concept of reflection. Why are you in the situation you're. You're in? Ultimately, we are a culmination of all the decisions we make, and it's no one else's responsibility for where we're at. So we have to take complete control over that and level up and understand where we're at and how we can get out of it and why we got to where we're going or why we got to where we're at. And I think when you do that, it gives you the ability to say, hey, I certainly. The heart of the pain. It's almost a positive thing because we don't want to go back to it. Right. So that's why things that are really painful are painful because we shouldn't be in that spot and we don't want to be back there. So I think that's the key. I really think it's get the help, focus on it, reflect, and then look at how to move forward.
So good. Something you did not say in that, but I was. It's funny, I don't even know if you realize that, but you, you have shared with me before that you're family owned. And I know that you're family owned, smaller business, but you are very involved with the end user personally. Like, you get on planes and you meet people like. And I think that connection is a big part of your success.
I think that if you don't understand the impact your product makes in the marketplace for the people that are actually using it, you're failing. I think that someone will come in that has a lot more money and can do a lot more market research. So one of the things I always try to do is go out and personally meet people that are utilizing our products. That's important simply because they'll be honest with you. I mean, you were honest with me. A lot of people are honest. And they'll tell you how to improve your product so you don't have to have a bunch of engineers sitting in a room telling you how to do things. Just go and talk to the customer. They'll tell you.
Yeah. I met him when he was out in California. He took his time to not only come and he set up my Intellipure and he tested my air for me and he really got to know me and he didn't need to do any of that. We could have talked on the phone, all that. So I just really appreciated that he knew I was going to educate others if I liked it too. So I just, I loved that touchpoint, that connection. It's very rare that you see an owner of a company really getting to know their end users.
Thank you. This is what it's about for us. We're not an appliance company. We're an air quality company that really believes in what we're doing. So that's why it's critical for us to do that.
Yeah. Before we wrap up Vinny, I just want everyone to know that Vinny's been super generous. And if anyone, if you do go on and look at intellipur and want to order it, you can use Natalie, Jill and you'll get a discount on it. And he's got but can you give a couple final words on why Intellipur or why air purifiers in general? For people so they know.
So it's important to really look at sizing of an air cleaner. The smaller this machine, you know it's going to have a limited impact in your space. So we want to you buy an air cleaner to have a true impact in the space. Looking at the three pollutant categories, gases and odors, particles and bio aerosols, which are the living organisms. We developed intellipur to basically eliminate all three pollution categories and deal with the ultra fine particles now known as the most devastating particle count particle size, which basically causes disease. So the ultra fine series, the intellipure series of products are all individually certified and tested as we talked about our hometown here in Pulaski, New York. They're, they're handcrafted and individually tested by an indoor air quality expert. They're not mass shipped in from China and they're sent out to you and guaranteed. We guarantee this machine to be the best machine money can buy. And we stand behind that 100%. And that's why you'll see every single review online as a five star review. Because if someone's not 100% happy, we take the product back.
That's amazing. And that is rare. That is rare with a company. So thank you so much Vinny. So Intellipure and where can it where's the website so people can go there?
They can go to intellipure.com to order the product and also to see all the things we've done in the local community to make a POS impact and all the other things we're doing around the world.
