Foreign Friday, where I share an insight from me to you. Being just a few weeks into the New Year, I thought this was perfect timing to bring this up to your attention. So we're only a few weeks into New Year's and I know many of you have set resolutions or goals. It's new beginnings, fresh start. However, we've looked at it and we started January off with some great intentions. And here's what I know about a few weeks in. Some things start to creep up, like what we feel like doing. And I want to bring this up because I want to share that if we continue or if you continue to rely on what you feel like doing, nothing will ever change. You see, your vision and your future self is always watching your actions, what you feel like doing, and your old habits, they will creep back up. And if you let what you feel like doing always dictate the actions you take, then you stay stuck and nothing changes. And I know this to be true, not just for myself, but if I think back to all the interviews I've done here on leveling up, this is a commonality with all the success stories, all of those that overcame, all of those that tried, that had success from nothing, that went from massive failures to success that started from humble beginnings and created everything. All, all of them, they couldn't listen to what they felt like doing. So how do you get back on track if this is you, if you've left, your feelings creep back up because there is a method to getting the results that you want. And you can do this with anything. And I'm going to share with you today my thoughts. And these are not my own original thoughts. This is my thoughts coupled with the interviews I've done and the experiences that I've had and the conversations I've had with those that have achieved massive success. So step one, you have to decide that it's happening. Get realigned with your actual vision and make a firm decision that it is happening and that you will implement all of the habits and actions to get you there. How do you make that stick? Well, you declare it. You declare it publicly. Now, I know that can feel super scary, but when you declare something to others, your brain hears it and you are much more likely to follow through. So don't just decide it's happening, but declare it. Act as if. Share that it is happening. Tell others that you are doing it. The next step, we stop lone wolfing. Yep. We ask for help. Find someone else who's achieved exactly what you are after and ask them, hey, how did you do it? If they are a person you don't know personally, don't let that stop you. Know that. Success always leaves clues. Study them, listen to them, Find their podcasts, find interviews that they've been on, read their blogs, read their posts, read their books, join their programs and follow their method. Success always leaves clues. So ask for help and become a student of it. Step 3. Community. Community is everything, y'. All. Surround yourself with people that up level you. You see any and every area you want to improve in. There are people that have achieved that already or that are working on achieving that same goal, but surround yourself with them. You know the saying that birds of a feather flock together, so create that for yourself. Surround yourself with those that uplevel you, support you, and that are working towards those same goals. The next step, change your habits. You see, we are always the result of our habits, the habits that we practice. We are not the feelings and the negative thoughts that stop us. Copy the habits of the people that have achieved what you want. Copy those habits and you become that type of person. You are always the result of those habits. Step five. This is the biggest one, y'. All. Do it even when you do not feel like doing it. You see, if you wait till you feel like it, you could be waiting a long time. I mean, Nike had it right. They said, just do it. And I'm telling you, do it anyways, even when you don't feel like it. Drop the pity party. Get out of victim mentality because you can get back on track and you can get back on track quickly. But you have to drop the ego. You've got to ask, you got to learn, you got to modify the steps, and you got to start from where you are right now and focus on getting a little bit better every day. So this is your reminder today. You're the result of your habits that you practice and the actions you take and the vision that you want. Now let's go.
