Hi, guys. Natalie, Jill here. Welcome back to Happy, Healthy and Fit. Today we're working shoulders, and we're doing all bodyweight exercises for shoulders because you can use weights, you can use equipment. But those of you that have been working out with me for a while know that I am a huge fan of bodyweight training because you can do it anywhere and you can progress on your own level. So beginner, intermediate, advanced, any of you, you can do it and you can make it more challenging for you. So I'm going to show you my favorite shoulder exercises that you can do anywhere using your own body weight and a wall. Because I'm going to show you two exercises that you can get a lot of work on those shoulders using a wall. And why do I like to work shoulders? Because the best part about shoulders is if you've got defined shoulders, it makes your waist look smaller. Right side perk. Because the wider your shoulders and the more developed they are, the smaller your waist is going to look. That's a definite reason to want those shoulders looking good. So let's get right into my five favorite shoulder exercises. The first one is a V pushup. Now, I love push ups because you're working your core, you're working your chest, you're working your whole arm. But by tweaking and putting your arms in a different position and moving your body up like this, you can do V push ups. That will really work those shoulders. Awesome shoulder work out there. And you can change it up by doing more or less, just making it more intense for you. Next exercise I love to do for shoulders are side planks, but from your hands. Now I'm going to add a little twist onto this. Stay with me here and watch me. I'm going to walk around using my core, keeping that shoulder strong and then bringing it back. So they're sidewalks, they're tougher than they look. So try it with me and you'll really feel that in your shoulder. And you'll also get a core workout while you're at it. The next exercise I love to do for shoulders, you can use your own body weight for or use weights. And those are front and side raises. Really easy to set up for this one. Just keep your core tight, your stomach in, everything strong, and lifting your hands up and back down and then taking them out to the side and back down. Here you can create resistance in your mind, making it more challenging. Or you can add weights to make it even more hard so you don't have to use those weights. You can use your mind to Concentrate and make it harder. Try it. You'll see what I'm talking about here. But if you don't trust yourself on that, then go ahead and grab those weights. The next exercise I want to show you are wall raises. And you just put your back up against the wall, core tight, everything strong. And you're going to raise your hands up and down shoulders for the movement. Really concentrate on making them hard and you'll feel that in those shoulders. And then the final exercise I want to show you, and this is more advanced, it's challenging, but my gosh, this one really works. Those shoulders, it burns, it feels, it works. Try this. You're going to put your hands down on the ground like you're going to be in a push up position. Put your feet up on the wall and you want to walk those feet up the wall as far as you can go. Core tight. Stay strong. You'll really feel this in your shoulders. This is an incredible shoulder workout. Love those wall wa. They're awesome. You can get that great definition. Makes you stronger, makes you more functionally fit, and it makes your waist work smaller, which is what we're after, right? Get the best of my bodyweight workouts.
