Best Bosu Ball Exercises for Abs and Core | Natalie Jill

Natalie Jill demonstrates core exercises using a Bosu ball to engage your abs and stabilizer muscles. The workout focuses on functional training movements that challenge your balance and build core strength through proper form and technique.
Hi, guys. Natalie, Jill here. And today we're doing a core workout with that crazy half blue thing, a Bosu. Have you seen it? Bosu. What it stands for is both sides up, which means you can work it both sides. You can put the blue part down, you can put the black part down. It's a great piece of equipment to work your core and to be functionally fit. So you ready? So you want to give it a try? If you've got a Bosu, grab your Bosu. If not, you can make note of these and try them at the gym because sure, you've seen these things around to take it. You want to put the blue thigh down. We're going to start in a plank position so your hands are here up on your toes, so you're in a push up position. We're going to start with just holding you here, core tight. And this makes it more challenging than a regular plank because you're throwing off your balance here. So you're involving more stabilizer muscles to keep it still. Hold on, hold it. Okay, hold it a couple more seconds and then we're gonna challenge this and start rocking it side to side. Are you ready? Take it side to side. Working our arms, working our chest, working those abs and that core, feeling it. It's a hard one. Keep going. You can take your feet further apart to create more of a balance if you need to. Rocking it side to side. You can see even in my arms, the shaking. That's all my stabilizer muscles working. You should be really feeling this. Hold it back to still Take a mini break. You ready? So we're going to take it back to that plank position. Put it up and we're going to take the opposite knee to opposite elbow like this. Are you ready? Let's go. Alternating it side to side. Breathe through it. Core tight, arms strong. Really feeling this. Nice job. Last one each side. As you can see, you don't even need to do a lot of these. And you'll really feel it in those abs, in that core, in that full upper body. Ready to move on. We're going to turn it over. We've got the blue side up, black side down, the flat side down. And you've got still a challenge with the core here, just from a different way because we flipped it around. We're going to go back to a plank position in a push up position on a plank. Holding it here. And we're going to take down, down, up, up, like this forearm and back up. Are you ready? Bring it down and up. Job down, down, up, up. You can alternate. Switch the sides, keeping that core tight, glutes tight, core is engaged, abs are strong, arms are strong. Last one. Nice job, everyone. This is a great piece of equipment. I love using interesting pieces of equipment that will help with functional training, and a BOSU ball is one of them. Love it. Both sides up challenges. Your core works, everything.
