This is a YouTube video titled "How to Become the Best Soccer Player in the World | Natalie Jill" featuring a conversation between Natalie Jill and her daughter Penelope recorded in November 2015. They discuss Penelope's dream of becoming the best soccer player in the world, the importance of vision, practice routines, and the emotional experience of playing soccer and scoring goals.
Hi, guys. Natalie, Jill here. Back on. Happy, healthy and fit. And this time I'm with my daughter, Penelope. Say hi.
Hi.
Because we're talking about how to be the best soccer player in the world. In the world.
Because that's what I'm gonna be.
Show the vision.
Because I love the USA team.
And what does it say?
It says, so that's me right there. And I'm saying, I won the World Cup. I won the trophy. I got the final score. See, that's the other team. And I scored against the girls, saying, oh, I missed it.
So we're talking about what it takes to be the best soccer player in.
The world and what it means and what it takes the courage to be. Not just, oh, I'm just gonna kick the ball. Oh, yeah, I'm gonna be on it. Oh, yeah. I'm really good at it. I'm gonna be on it. It takes more than that. Okay, so let's talk about that. I wrote this. This is me, the best soccer player in the world in this picture. That's my dream, and it will come true.
Okay, so let's talk about. I love it because I like that you created the vision first.
Right.
That's what you have to do. You decide. So what does it take to be the best soccer player in the world? What are the things that we have to do?
Well, you gotta take lots of practices.
And, like, how often do you have to practice?
Like, you have to practice at least about twice a week.
At least twice a week. Okay.
Or a few. Like, once a week. Or, like, join a soccer team.
Okay.
Like I'm doing right now.
Okay. And then what kind of things do you do on your soccer practice?
Well, what you do is you do all sorts of drills. Drills, like how to take the ball away from people. Practice one on one. One on one is really fun. So, like, you're a number, and you're like, if you call a number, there's gonna be someone on a different side. There's gonna be one ball in the middle, and you run. Whoever gets it and scores in the goal wins. They get your team a point.
Why would somebody that's watching you right now wanna learn to play soccer? Talk about what it feels like when you actually make a goal.
When you make a goal, you feel very excited. You feel very proud of yourself. Like, I feel very sad when I miss a goal. Because, like, you, like, feel like, well, I tried. I was good. But then your teammates were like, good try, good try. They give you high fives. But then when you actually score a goal like you score. Because I, like, score, like, at the end of the game, and like, my. My team is, like, all go and hug me and, like, pick me up. And they're like, you finally did it. You finally did it.
What's the goal of you? What's your goal? What's your dream?
Follow your dreams. And my goal is to be on the USA team, and every time we're going to win.
