How to Take YEARS Off Our Biological Age with Proper Hydration with Tracy Duhs

Natalie Jill talks with Tracy Duhs about how proper hydration can lower your biological age. They cover the differences between tap, filtered, spring, and distilled water, plus biohacking techniques to optimize how your body uses water.
Sam Streamyard. Which is the same thing.
Video.
Yeah.
Do you have lights in here to make it brighter? Yeah.
Is that bright enough or.
No, no.
Look, I think it's just my computer too, because it's always on.
Oh, got it. Okay.
Dark.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so we won't. We don't need to look at it, but we'll just. As long as we're mostly. Mostly you in the frame.
Okay, then let me sit. Scoot over there.
Yeah.
And then that'll be more.
Yeah, that works. Okay. There we go.
Okay, so.
Okay, but you're gonna record it on here. And then you'll record.
Yeah, I'm gonna record that. Going.
And you'll be able to send this to me in a Dropbox. Both of them? Yeah. Okay. Amazing.
Do you have your computer with you? I could just give you a disc or. No, I could just put it in a drive to. Google Drive.
Okay. Yeah.
Plant. I was noticing it.
What should I. For the one with you? Actually, I'm just gonna. I'm just gonna go.
Yeah, just go. I'll just do it.
I'm gonna. And then. But how do you want me to introduce you? I'll do the formal one later. But how do you want me to introduce you?
People usually call me like the hydrate queen, but, like, what is that?
That's hydration expert.
Yeah, hydration expert. And then you need to tell me what I want to call myself, because that's not interesting, right?
No, I'll figure it out for you. Okay.
We'll just go.
Is it recording?
Yep, it's all going. We're live.
So today on Midlife Conversations, I'm talking to one of my besties here, Tracy, and she is the hydration queen, AKA hydration expert. I don't even know hydration expertise was a thing. I gotta be honest with you, Tracy. When I met her, we were introduced from a mutual friend, Barton Scott, a while ago. Shout out, Barton. Shout out to Barton. I met him in Hawaii and he had told me that when I met him. I don't even know if I told you this, said, you have to meet my friend Tracy. You guys remind me of each other. You live in San Diego. You have to meet. You're gonna connect. He set us up basically on a blind date. We instantly hit it off. Although I guess as much as we have in common, we have something that are definitely not in common. Like, I love to make fun of Tracy. When we were driving and she had covered herself up from head to toe as if we were in the middle of Pandemic, which we're not. But it had nothing to do with the face covered mask, the whole thing. I'm like, what is happening? It's the middle of the day. We're in a car by ourselves. And she said, I'm protecting my skin. And I said, okay, we're not the same. You take things up a whole nother notch. But what I love about Tracy is she is so smart and so right on when it comes to biohacking. We're gonna talk a lot about that today. What biohacking is why we need to understand what that is and how important hydration is. And I don't mean just drinking eight glasses of water. I want to get into that. So first of all, Tracy, let's take this back a little bit. How did you even get interested in hydration? Where did this come from?
I mean, nobody wants to age, right? I always saw people aging, and I'm like, that looks rough.
So that's how you got it.
I'm like, I'm gonna stay young forever. I mean, I don't know. I mean, I think that was a big thing. But we all have a crucible story. And one of mine was that when I was pregnant from my first daughter, Grace, I didn't look like I was pregnant. And that seemed like a cool thing until I realized that I had low amniotic fluid because I had a severe mineral imbalance. And that mineral imbalance, the symptoms were that my mouth was dry, my eyes were dry. I'm 24 years old. My whole body was just felt like I had been crawling through the Sahara desert. And middle of summer.
While you're pregnant.
Three days. Yeah. And I just couldn't quench my thirst. It didn't matter how much water I drank. It didn't matter what I did. I felt thirsty, and that was all I could think about was water.
Do they think you were diabetic at first? Isn't that one of the signs? Yes.
So they tested for that. It wasn't gestational diabetes. All my biomarkers were coming back. My pathology was all perfect. So that was another thing that was frustrating with like, yeah, no, you're fine. This is all in your head. And I knew it wasn't because no one wakes up in the morning with the their tongue stuck to the roof of their mouth because your mouth is so dry. Or you can't even open your eyes because there's no lubrication for your eyelids to unglue from your eyeballs. And it was really uncomfortable. It was like Severe. Yeah.
Not normal things.
Yeah, yeah, it was severe. My daughter's husband would wake up in the morning and have to run to the bathroom to get me water to put on my eyelids.
Your daughter's. You mean your daughters. I said my daughter. Oh, my God.
My daughter's father. I hope. Let's delete that part.
Her daughter's. Her daughter's dad.
That would be gross.
Yeah, okay.
Father. I don't like that word. My ex.
I think that's such a.
Like, it's not. It's not a. Okay, you're upgraded word. You know, it's like, I can call him something else. My daughter's father, but do that. So, anyways, that was very uncomfortable. And what I noticed was since I didn't have any options from the medical community, they weren't giving me any options. I just kept drinking water. But what I noticed was when I would drink the filtered water from my reverse osmosis system, I felt more thirsty. And when I would drink spring water, it quenched me for longer.
Okay, this is interesting right here. Because until I met Tracy, I did not understand that there was a difference. Like, I have no. I have zero water education. The only thing I know about water right now is we're supposed to drink it. So I'm learning little bits from you about.
Because let's start with that.
What? Talk about filtered versus spring.
Yeah. So when you're filtering your water, you're taking water and say it's a reverse osmosis filter. It's going through these membranes that are highly comprehensive to take out all the caustic and toxic contamination and the chemistry of the water. But while it's doing that, it's deep breaking down and destructuring the water. So you have this in these incoherent molecules floating around. And why does that matter? It matters because we need coherence in our water in order for. To hydrate us in the cellular. At the cellular level. Why? Because our body is taking H2O, the water you're drinking, and every hydrophilic surface in your body is actually converting that to H3O2, which is a structured cryst structure. What, Rob. What? Gerald Pollock coined the term fourth phase water. So he says there's four phases to water. Not just vapor, liquid and solid, but it's also gel, like, structure, and that's what's inside our cells. So we don't want to have just water outside of our cells that creates edema. When you, you know, go to a sushi restaurant, you feel like your eyes are all puffy, or your face is puffy, the next day, the water's in the wrong spot. There's too much water in your extracellular matrix, not enough water in your intracell, inside your cells.
Let's back up a minute. I want to take it. I'm going to dummy it down a few notches because I want to catch up here, and I want to make sure I'm fully understanding too. So let's start with you're drinking tap water. Is filtered water better than tap water? Let's start with that.
So there's different things. So tap water is going to have contamination in it. And usually our municipal water supply will put things in it like chlorine fluoride, and then the chlorine will mix with different natural elements that will create chloramines. These are things that our body doesn't want amongst many other contaminants.
Okay.
So if you're drinking filter or if you're drinking tap water, you're chances are you're getting a lot of caustic toxic contamination.
Okay. So filtered would be a step above that, but we have other issues.
Yeah, it will be a step above that, but you're not going to die from drinking tap water, usually in the United States, because there are a lot of regulations to keep it so that we don't have these certain pathogens that are going to kill you. But over time, it's accelerating aging. It's these caustic toxic chemicals are accelerating aging, their endocrine disruptors. There's many things that are happening that you don't want. So then most people kind of get that. So they'll say, let's filter the water.
Okay. Which is where I. What I did, I was there.
Yeah. So that's good that you're thinking about the water, and good for you for doing that. But it's destructuring the water. It's making the water incoherent, and it's also making the water so that it's so clean that there's no minerals in it and that we don't have this crystalline structure to the water. And what I was saying is why that's important is because then our body has to work really hard to convert that to H3O2. So if you're concerned with having great skin, gray hair, great nails, great metabolism, you don't want all of your energy going to converting H2O to H3O2. You want to use that energy for other things, like healing.
Right.
So when you're drinking filtered reverse Osmosis water. You're drinking incoherent water that's actually. Doesn't have enough minerals in it, too, to create this osmotic balance so that you can have enough water inside your cell and outside yourself. So many people will be drinking water and just peeing it out.
Okay. So before we get into spring water, because I want to. I want to talk about that. I want to make sure I'm understanding all different layers, because this is all fascinating to me. Like, I've never heard or understood this. So most people first go from tap water to filtered. So they purified or filtered, which is really the same thing. So then the next step above that, some people go to distilled water. Why do they do that? Let's talk about distillery distilled first.
Yeah. And. Well, there's different forms of purification.
Okay.
And filtering water. Right. So some people will have a water filter on the refrigerator.
Yep.
A simple carbon filter, which is great because it's removing some of the contamination. But a lot of it's not. Most of it's. All of it is not being removed. Like with reverse osmosis, that's another step above infiltration, which has very comprehensive membranes that are really taking out almost all of the chemical contamination. Then you get to distillation, where it's. It's just as pure. I would say almost as pure as reverse osmosis. There's, like, nothing. There's no minerals in it anymore. It's completely pure water. But we like to call that dead water because that water has been broken down and it's lacking any type of structure.
Okay.
The way that I like to explain this is a lot of people have crystals in their home.
Mm.
What is that crystal? It's a mineral. Those minerals are what make that a crystalline structure.
Okay.
Our bodies are crystalline structures. Your bone is a crystalline structure. Your body is 99 water molecules. And the reason you are not a puddle of water on the floor is because your body is creating. Taking all of those water molecules and converting it into a crystalline structure.
Okay. So when people do distilled water, like a bodybuilder would do that to lose excess water, they said they're taking all minerals out of the water. Am I understanding that correct? So you would say that's almost. That's counterproductive. That's not helping our health.
There's a place for distilled water if you want to detox and flush. And like you're saying, a bodybuilder who's trying to flush the water out of them yes, like that. That's good. You're gonna be detoxing. But for everyday hype creation to have that osmotic balance of the right amount of water in your extracellular fluid and your intracellular fluid, you need to have balanced, crystalline, structured water. And I love to look to nature for things, and nature is intelligent. And what nature is doing is it's taking water that's coming from wherever, from the ground or from the sky, and it's taking this water and it's. There's always movement, vortexing movement. That movement is imprinting the water with living frequencies, messages that are living because water isn't just its chemistry, it's also its physics. And the physics is the way that all of these molecules are set up and the way that they structure themselves. And there's information being held in that. It. We're learning a lot about water and understanding that water can hold, according to Gerald Pollock, up to a billion times more information than the cells in your cell phone. So there's so much information that's being held in there. And what kind of information do we want? Do we want the caustic, toxic chemicals that the water came in contact with? Do we want the pharmaceuticals? Do we want those dirty, rusty pipes to be imprinting the water? Because all of that sending a message to your cells. So when you drink spring water, you're getting the messaging and imprinting the information from nature. The sun, the moon cycles, the vortex.
Because spring water is not tempered with basically.
Well, I mean, it can be. And not all spring is in, you know, clean source. It depends on where you're drawing it from. But for the most part, just to make it simple, it's like, yes, most spring or artesian waters are going through that natural process. Three things, like, there's the. The movement of the water, the vortexing, the mineralization, and then the sourcing of where it came from. And these are. This is really important because water isn't just, like I said, it's chemistry, it's physics, and there's information in it. And that's just as important, in my opinion, as the chemistry.
So if somebody doesn't understand all this and like, because I even, even I got asked like 10 times to fully understand it, I'm just going to understand.
I'm glad you are because it's good to have.
Because I want to fully. So if somebody doesn't fully understand it yet and because I've even listened to you and I've said, okay, I don't fully get it yet, but I understand that spring water is better for me than filtered water. Like, I'm starting there. So I made sure that I'm not doing filtered water anymore. I'm making sure I'm getting spring water. I switch. In fact, I actually looked at the delivery we have for our water, and we always had spring water. Somehow they switch it to purified. Wow. So we've switched it back. Help everyone listening. Understand, like, if you were just like, give us the simple reasons, like, what are the surface level reasons that we should be drinking spring water over? Let's start with that. Like, what would be. Because you said anti aging. Like, how specifically does it help with that?
Well, your body hydrates more efficiently.
Okay.
When you're drinking spring water and we're gonna look at this, you're gonna look better, your skin's gonna look better, you're gonna have more energy, juicier joints, you're gonna sleep better, you're gonna have less mental fog. You're gonna have all of the things that you had in your youth when you were. More water. When we're born, we have more water in us, so when we die, we have less water. Usually you have like 90 water when you're first born, and they say about 50 when you die. So aging is a slow dehydration process.
Interesting. Okay, so if nothing else, spring water is going to help with all those things.
It's definitely going to help you hydrate your cells so that you. You're going to have more longevity, not just more years, but you're going to have more vibrancy and health and youthfulness in those years that you're alive.
Before I get into some of the advanced, advanced stuff, I have some, like, really practical questions if you're. If you're okay with it. Okay, so like, we go to the store and we order tapa chico, or we get Waterloo or like one of those Yay or nay or is that bad to add the carbonation? Is that hurting us?
So I would choose naturally carbonated water from springs. Okay, so there is natural carbonated water. So just get naturally spring water. That's.
What about the machines that, like, you can put in your house?
Those aren't good because you're taking tap water and you're just adding gases to it.
But if you take spring water, is it still bad to do that and add to it?
I just think it's better to just get it naturally because anytime we're adding gases to it, it's adding more gas in our body and in that tap water.
So I guess my Husband gets to return the thing he bought for the holidays.
You know, it's fun to have just as a little treat, but why not just buy, like, you're buying spring water. You can get still or gas. Like, why not buy the natural sparkling?
Brooks, if you're listening, we're returning your gift. Okay. Okay, so, okay, so we learned spring water. And if we're going to do sparkling, make sure it's spring sparkling, not like Waterloo purified type of situation. Right?
Definitely not.
Got it. And plus, when you do those, which I'm guilty of, too, there, it says natural flavors, which we don't even really know what that is that we're adding in there.
Oh, my gosh. Yeah.
Okay, so let's talk next level now. Like, okay, now you're on board with the spring thing. That rhymes. You're on board with the spring thing. And you're like, okay, well, I want to learn more about this. Like, what's the next level now? Like, you do, like, all these kind of restructurings.
I come over her house.
She's got all these contraptions. She told me she was restructuring water. I never heard of that term in my life. Can you explain that a little bit?
Yeah. So when I think about how I want to age really well, I want to feel well. And I realized that the water I was drinking was impacting how I felt and how I looked. Then I started to look into it deeper. And once I started to unpack it and go back to school and understand it at a deeper level, I went down the rabbit hole, and I realized I could study water for the rest of my life and never really get it. It's just so. It has its own intelligence to A water's constantly having a conversation with it. Just like our crystals that are in our home, they're sending and receiving information. So is water. And when we think about it that way, we get to have an opportunity to look at water from a different perspective. Not just eat. Drinking eight glasses of this liquid every day, it's like, well, what am I drinking? What kind of message is it sending my body? Is it actually hydrating me at the cellular level? One person that Emoto. A lot of people know about Professor Emoto who took these. Took water.
Oh, this is why he said the nasty things to it. And then the nice things. Google that. Yeah.
Yes, you can Google that. Just Google moto. Professor Emoto. And you will see that he would hate. Yeah. And then crystallize the water. And you could see that that was wild. It was incoherent. He spoke the word love over the water and you see this beautiful crystalline structure. So his work gave opportunity for us to see.
It took the woo out of the work.
Yeah, the water is actually like, well, there's something happening.
Yeah, it really, that was a legit thing. That was wild to see that. Yeah. Because I do, I will admit I thought it was a little out there until I saw that. Yeah.
And, and here's the things real, like I shouldn't say real science scientists will throw his workout because they say, and we do know this, that he cherry picked his data. And in science you really can't do that. So scientists don't like the work of Emoto because of that. But I say, okay, so maybe we don't need to look at everything that he did. But he opened our eyes to something more, that there is something to water. And now we are studying that and we're understanding it at a different level. So we do understand now through the work of Gerald Pollock, that water structures itself. And like everything in nature, water is very efficient. So what it does is as it's structuring itself, it's creating these sheet like structures that are hex. They're created in hexagonal form, kind of like honeycomb little honeycomb sheets. And why do bees make use that honeycomb structure, that hexagonal structure? Because they can hold more honey inside of that structure than any other structure.
Okay, I'm starting to follow.
So water does the same thing as it's structuring itself, it's creating these hexagonal sheets because it can hold more information inside of that structure than any other way. So water is very coherent. It's holding this information. Well, what kind of information do we want to hold in this crystalline structure? Do we want to speak the word love over it? Do we want to speak the word rotate? Do we want to influence it with caustic chemicals? Do we want to influence it with what do we want to influence it with? So at home I filter my water because I want to get all that toxic caustic contamination out. But I know that I have to break water down in order to have the opportunity to build it back up. So I'm breaking the water down.
So wait, you filter spring water, you filter regular. What do you do?
My tap. I filter the water from my tap. I have a filtration, a reverse osmosis filtration system without a holding tank.
Okay, so. So it's better than regular filtered water. What you're doing.
Well, reverse osmosis is very comprehensive okay. So one of my mentors is Robert Slovak, and he was one of the people that actually helped us bring reverse osmosis to our homes. We call him, like, the father of reverse osmosis. And he will say that that is the most comprehensive filtration, which is better.
Than spring water then. So now we're at a different.
It's not better than spring water. This is filtered water. So it's taking out all the caustic toxic contamination. But I can make it like spring.
Water by doing their structuring because I.
Don'T live near a spring. So I want to mimic nature at home.
Okay.
So I'm doing the first thing I'm addressing the chemistry of the water. Now I'm realizing also, oh, water isn't just its chemistry. We also have. It has its physics. So what does nature do to address that? It vortexes the water. So I have a vortexing device that vortexes the water in a left and right spin, which is essentially what we believe is it's throwing off the negative and bringing in the positive. And, like, it sounds very esoteric, but what's really strange is you can actually test this. Gary Greenfield, who was one of the guests on my podcast, vortex water for two weeks straight, and he actually filtered the water. So it didn't just address the physics. The physics impacted the chemistry. So at some point, it's all coming together and the chemistry was impacted. So he took sewage water and vortex it for two weeks, and then he tested it after two weeks, and it was pure.
Wow. Interesting. Okay, so when she poured water in this contraption for me a couple months ago. Was it maybe a couple months ago? And I thought she was crazy. You're doing what? My husband was here and was like, she's doing what? What is happening here? But I will say it did taste different when I drank it, and I felt different from it. So maybe it was in my head, Maybe there's something to it, but I figured, why not? Yeah, why not?
Well, the viscosity of the water changes. There's so many things that are changing to it because you are addressing the physics. But the thing is that what we've discovered is when we vortex the water, you really need to drink, on average, about a third less water.
Okay, explain that. Because we're, you know, in, like, the fat loss, fitness, health, nutrition space, we're always saying, drink eight glasses of water at least. Drink, like, drink almost your body weight in, you know, water. Like, what. What is the truth when you're properly hydrated?
Well, because when you're drinking water that's filtered just like me at the beginning of my story. How I drink the water, I didn't feel hydrated. Then I drink the spring water and I felt better was because when I was drinking just the filtered water, my body had to do a lot of work to structure it. And my body wasn't hydrating as efficiently. So a lot of the water was just passing through, going into my mouth.
Kind of like if you don't have salt, if you. That example too.
Exactly. Your urinary salt is a mineral which helps structure the water into a crystalline structure. So minerals, like the, the crystals that you have at home, those are minerals, those create crystalline structure. So that's why we need the minerals. When you do the filtration, you're taking out all the minerals and then you have an unstructured incoherent water that we call dead water because it's not really able to hydrate you as efficiently. So it goes in and out. And when it's going in, you know, some of it's getting into the cells because our cells know what to do. Otherwise we die. Our cells know, okay, I need to convert this to H3O2 so that it gets into the cell, but it's just not as efficient.
That's why you have to have a lot more.
Yes. My cells aren't getting as hydrated. When I vortex the water, I drink a third less water because it's actually penetrating the cell. And I have this osmotic balance where the water can flow in and out of the cell. The water can expand, fill any type of toxins more efficiently, it can take in nutrients more efficiently. So now not only am I more hydrated, but I have a greater uptake of nutrition.
Got it.
And better detoxification.
So you know what's coming up for me right now? Like, so I'm just gonna say it. There's all these supplements on the market to like hold on to your water, but it sounds like you wouldn't need those if you were drinking the right kind of water to begin with. That's not. That's what I'm thinking. You don't need that. So all those like supplements that are like, oh, help get you more hydrated. I'm also thinking about the amount of times we're told add more sodium to your water. Really? It's because we need the minerals. Is that. Yes. Okay, got it. Okay, so what about when you're eating fruits and vegetables and your water based foods? Is that good hydration? Like if it's coming from a fruit or vegetable?
That's a great question. Absolutely. Because just like us botanicals, fruits and vegetables have cells in them. They're made up of cells and those cells are converting the H2O into H3O. So the fruits and vegetables we're eating have structured water.
That's amazing.
They're made of structured water.
So I bet that's why, like, I would say I feel I eat so many fruits and vegetables. So I probably am getting that without even realizing it.
Yep.
Despite my bad so chico habit.
One glass of water and an apple is more hydrating than two glasses of water.
Wow. Okay, good to know. Good to know. Okay, so if someone wants to do what do you. Where do you recommend somebody starts? Do you recommend they start with, hey, just let's start with spring water? Do you recommend they go right into learning about structured water? Like, where do you want somebody to. To start?
I would say just be aware of the water that you're drinking. Look and see, does it say filtered water or does it say that it was from a natural spring source? And just start there.
Okay.
Drink spring water and notice, oh my gosh, do I feel more hydrated? Does my skin look different?
Yeah.
I mean, I have a hydration protocol that I use with all my clients, but where I start, every single one of my clients is just switching them over to spring.
Amazing. I love it.
And every single one of them notices the difference.
Okay.
It's like, well, I'll be a test.
For you because we're switching out ours. Now that I know we got, we got hoodwinked and switched to purified. I'm going to be back on spring water. They make me 20 years younger. We're going to see. Okay, so talk to about you have a book coming out what talked about this book because I think everyone needs it. First of all, it's a gorgeous book and it's, it taught me a lot just looking at it. Can you talk a little bit about what prompted you to write it and what they can expect with it?
Yeah. So I've owned a functional medicine clinic for the last 16 years here in San Diego. Seen thousands of patients come into my clinic. I also do luxury wellness retreats here and we were doing all these high level biohacking things. I'm in the biohacking space and you know, a lot of my friends are the high level biohackers. I mean, Ben Greenfield, denial hangout. And he's just like up there with all the, like, here you gotta do this peptide and this Machine and all this stuff. That's not what most people can do.
Yeah.
So what I realized was after talking to my patients, I realized most people are missing the foundation.
Yes.
Of health and wellness.
Yes.
Like getting jump right to the extreme.
They're not that basic.
Like they're, they're thinking they feel sick or maybe cancer's popped up or some sort of disease and they go straight to some extravagant protocol. Yeah. And it's like once I dialed it back and realized that's most of them don't need an extravagant protocol. Most of them need to get proper sunlight. Yeah. They're not getting enough sun. They're exposed to these toxic lights that are letting off, you know, non native. We've got non native electromagnetic frequencies in our home. We've got these lights that aren't full spectrum light and they're like toxic junk food lighting. Part of our nutrition, a big part of our nutrition is the full spectrum light. And if we're not getting unfiltered full spectrum light, that we're not getting full nutrition. And that doesn't mean being inside the house because the light bends when it comes to the window. That's why when you and I were in the car, I had my face covered. It's not because I don't like sunlight. It's because I don't want sunlight that's been adulterated through windows where it's bending and filter right there.
Yeah.
So that's just like. I know that my body's getting this misinformation of the light and it's not the best nutrition. If I'm out outside, I'll go outside and get 10 to 15 minutes of just straight sunlight. I'll go on my rooftop, watch the sunrise. I love to watch the sunset. Those are amazing times to get. So you don't have so much of that thermal heat, but you're getting the full spectrum light and a lot of that red light. And so those things are giving energy to your mitochondria, which are your powerhouse engines of your cells. And you're gonna have a higher metabolism, your body's gonna work more efficiently if you just get that simple thing. And most people weren't.
Yes.
Also something simple like taking your shoes off and grounding to the earth. The earth has this magnetism and these human frequencies that resonate with our body's frequencies and they reduce inflammation in the body. They also charge our cells. You charge your cell phone every night. Are you charging the cells of your body every day?
There's a lot of. It's in the book.
All of it's in the book.
So those are.
I call them the nine pillars. And that's what my book goes through, is the nine Pillars of Health. And I make it so that it's educational but also applicable. And I show how I do it in a fun way. I make it playful and fun. I have recipes in the book. A lot of people like to call me the elixir queen because you come over to my house and I'm usually making you a drink, a hydration elixir.
That's the first thing I did when I walked in here today.
You had your elixir. And. And so that's what I love to do, is give people nutrition, elevate their mood, help them feel good, but in a way that that's good for them. Because a lot of people, many people like to go to alcohol because it's a social lubricant. You know, it brings down the inhibitions and you feel a little more comfortable, maybe in your skin or something, but then you're dehydrating your cells. So how can we do that? How can we do that in a healthy way? That's feeding your body with nutrition, hydrating you, but giving you that same elevated mood, that mood and a social lubrication. So those recipes are in my book so good. So it's like the nine pillars of health. And it's more like a beautiful book that you can open up. It's a coffee table gift book. You can open up to any page and get some sort of inspiration for the day. There's a quote, there's a recipe, there's, you know, a little tip. And it doesn't need to go. It's kind of like my personality. I'm all over the place. And I love to be artful and playful. And so the book is like that. Like you can just open it up to any page and gain something.
Okay, so here's what I love about the book. Here's my little 2 seconds second commercial for it. I think there's so many recipe books out there about weight loss and I'm so overweight loss. Like, I feel like we want weight loss to achieve more confidence, to feel better, to be healthier. But the focus doesn't always need to be weight loss. Like, what I love is your focus on healthy hydration, which is something that is not talked enough about. And water is so easily accessible for us, for everyone listening, it is where we happen to be listening to this, that there's no reason not to be adding this in. So the tips that you teach in this book are all doable. It's not weight loss focused, which I love. And so I think it's just fabulous. So I'm going to link this up in the show notes so you can make sure to get a copy of the book. Where else can they find you? Where do you want people looking for you, talking to you, connecting with you?
